We have been to Copenhagen several times… this is a solid 4 star restaurant which needs some tweaking before becoming entitled to 5 stars as follows: on a typically busy Saturday night you cannot expect to have your reservation honored… noting that we had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time. To be fair I can’t completely blame the restaurant, since it was a very wet rainy night and apparently some of the diners did not really want to «move it». After finally reaching our table, Heather, our charming server was informative and always was there when we needed her… yet she was not overly intrusive. Copenhagen has a full bar… my wife ordered a Malbec .I ordered a Pinot Noir while my nephew ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon… it’s a good thing that I don’t make a living being as a wine taster… since all of our wines tasted exactly alike… if I truly can’t taste the DIFFERENCE between a Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon… my fellow Unilocalers might have a right to question the reliability of the remainder of this review… so be it. The menu is full of many enticing choices. I started with the escargot… as good as any I’ve had anywhere… the garlic was just right… available was a crusty bread which was perfect for sopping up the garlicky butter. On a previous visit I had ordered a weinerschnitzel which was worthy of at least four and a half stars. Friends of ours had recommended the bouillabaisse … telling us that it was the best they’ve ever had. So I ordered the bouillabaisse, which barely approached 4 stars. I knocked it down one star because it had an abundant amount of salmon floating in it… I would have preferred less salmon and some clams which were totally absent. The stew was okay, but should’ve had some saffron, fennel or pernod and perhaps a bit more garlic to give it more of a «Marseillian» kick which it desparately needed. However, the mussels, shrimp and scallops were very fresh bringing the dish barely to 4 stars… it was a very busy night and perhaps the dish may have been compromised… it deserves another try. My wife felt the duck was a bit dry, but was enhanced by some type of pruny fruit sauce… it was served with mashed potatoes and red cabbage… okay, but not ideal. The highlight of the night was the Napoleon dessert which blew everybody away. Even if you’re not a dessert person, order it the next time you come to Copenhagen. I will put Copenhagen on my permanent list of «go to» restaurants. Generally the dishes are well prepared(based on previous visits} and the prices are extremely fair. I may not return so soon on a Saturday night in season, since like so many other popular Palm beach County restaurants, Copenhagen will have a large group of septagenarians milling outside the front door waiting for their tables.

Avg & boring .food served in a place where the avg age is death. Good food but… The choice of mashed potatoes… tasted like from a mix. Like a visit to a nursing home.

The food and the service was excellent. While the actual entrée was excellent, my only complaint was that each entrée came with a generic lump of mashed potatos and vegetables. We did not have dessert. But we saw other diners with dessert and they looked yummy. Restroom was clean and large. The parking lot was crowded but I had no problem finding a spot on a Wednesday night. I will repeat next time I am in Boynton Beach.

This was our first visit and we were warmly greeted and our server, Heather, was excellent. The atmosphere is very comfortable and ample room between tables. Two of us ordered the veal weiner schnitzel and thought it was very good. Pleasantly it was not too oily. The mashed potatoes were fine however we both were disappointed with the mixed vegetables. They looked pretty but tasted like they were from a frozen bag. I ordered a side of red cabbage which was excellent and suggest the restaurant serve this dish with spetzelle and red cabbage instead of mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Others had the flat iron steak and pork specials which they very much enjoyed. We will be back again as there were many other dishes we wish to try.

After reading all the five-star reviews I was really looking forward to something special. Unfortunately the meal was average! The fish was OK I had the salmon with the maple glaze, vegetables and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The best thing I had actually was the carrot bread that came in the basket… This is clearly a place over 65 crowd!!! For what we paid for dinner I know other places that I would’ve had a better meal

This place was phenomenal. Monica, or server, was sweet and helpful and funny. I got the Wiener schnitzel and it was tender and flavorful. My husband got the mussels with white sauce and he loved it. We also had escargot and the tuna appetizer … Both on point. The desserts were delicious. Just go and see for yourself!!!

One of the big problems in South Florida is finding really good restaurants at reasonable prices. Sure, there are hundreds of eating joints in the $ 13 – 19 range, with cheap prices and large portions, and they pack in the eager eaters(note I said«eaters», not diners). So, if you are an «eater» this review is not for you. Diners, stick around. This restaurant is owned and operated by the same people who ran Fleming’s in Boca for many years. Now they are ensconced in a run-of-the-mill neighborhood shopping center on Woolbright and Military. While you won’t be coming back because of the décor, you will, for the high quality food at reasonable prices. Copenhagen proves you don’t have to spend north of $ 30 to truly dine. Your meal begins with a wonderful bread basket, the highlight of which is the warm pumpkin bread, made in-house. You will eat more than one slice. Your dinner will consist of soup or salad(you get one or the other) and your entrée, chosen from a very extensive selection that includes superb fish dishes, calf’s liver, and everything from pasta to poultry. You will likely not have room for dessert, but be cautioned, they are SCRUMPTIOUS. Just a word of caution: book early. They are deservedly very busy.

The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Great service and very welcoming environment. It was a little hard to find, but once we found it it was absolutely awesome. The tomatoes in the salad tasted like someone walked outside in their own garden and pick them only right and brought them to the table. The complementary breads that were brought to the table were all excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal.

I rarely give 5 stars but this place truly deserves it. Food: 5/5, amazing homemade food including the desserts. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The steak was better than most of the steaks I’ve eaten at high class steak houses! Service: 5/5, our waiter Jonathan was extremely patient with my elderly grandmother and the owner Flemming is exceptional — he checked up on us several times and ensured we had an excellent meal Value: The quality is on par with a place that’s 2−3x the price. On weekdays if you’re seated before 530 you get a free dessert and coffee — the desserts are so good they could open up a separate bakery! Plus all entrées include both soup & salad.

Excellent and one of my favorite restaurants. Never had anything but a very good meal here. No typical salad bag salads or vegetables which seem almost ubiquitous around this area. VERY fresh and well prepared foods. There is a home made European like element. Tables are nicely spaced. Reasonable prices and reasonable corkage fees. You generally need reservations here, often well in advance, which are not directly available online.

First visit definitely not our last. Owner’s and wait staff attention borders on the fine line between outstanding and intrusive. Food perfectly prepared, salad, veggies and food redefines fresh! Recommend Graavlox, crispy duck, wiener schetzel, any of fish offering. Didn’t have dessert, but offerings looked good as waiters served other tables

Most excellent. Food, service and price are outstanding. A bit hard to find at night. But well worth the search. It is on the East side of the shopping center by the circle. Do not miss desert.

The restaurant was a pleasant experience. Always good when you see the owner checking up at each table. The carrot bread was outstanding, as was the boullibase. Would recommend

I find the atmosphere depressing and the food just a bit above mediocre. The owner has a huge following and the place is busy, but I’m not quite sure why

Okay, it is a Senior clientele. Very Senior. Great location, food, prices and space. Extensive menu(fish, meat, poultry, salads) and, of course, great Early-Bird specials.
