One of the best pizza places in south Florida. Been going there for probably the last 18 years now. Used to live just down the street in Boynton/Delray and have traveled there for pizza since moving to Lake Worth, Hollywood, Deerfield Beach and now trips from West Boca. Pepperoni pizza with some garlic rolls and an appetizer of steak fries to keep us pizza til the food arrives. ..

We sat in a booth right away, the hostess was very nice, we waited a couple of minutes and our waiter Bob showed up, we had a couple of drinks. We had the Josie’s calamari, interesting with the sauce but the result is mushy calamari. I had the Veal Milanese, I asked for a side of pasta, our waiter said it didn’t come with pasta only with the bruschetta in the plate, fine !! I took the small order of pasta anyway. My wife had the lobster ravioli, she mentioned that they were good. My veal was over breaded but tender and the pasta were al dente but the bolognese sauce had too much basil in it. Also we had to ask the busboy for some bread. We didn’t see Bob very much but luckily the hostess came a few times to see if every thing was to our liking. It’s not Italian fine cuisine but it’s honest Italian American cuisine.

PLEASESEEUPDATE We were told to seat ourselves, then sat for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. A waitress with brown and blonde hair came over with menus and asked for our drink order. 5 minutes later, with no drinks in her hand, she came back and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Now, the place was virtually empty. We told her that we gave her our drink order 5 min ago and then repeated it to her. About 5 min later, a cook came over and asked if we wanted something to drink as the waitress wandered around aimlessly. Finally, we got our drinks and placed our order with the cook, now waiter. When he brought our food order, we asked for rolls because evidently you no longer get bread with spaghetti. As he walked away he began speaking to a new waitress and went back to cooking I guess because we never seen him again. Probably 15 min later, when we were now almost finished eating, she(the new waitress) came to ask us how everything is. We informed her that we had ordered rolls a long time ago and that my husband needed a refill on his beverage. Not even 30 seconds later, here she comes with his beverage and she takes it to one of only two other tables in there. a table that was getting up to leave! When we were completely done eating, the first waitress we had encountered today brought our rolls out. We informed her that once again my husband would like a refill. Then we waited 19 minutes, as they both now wandered about aimlessly, to get our bill. If I’m ever starved enough to go back in there, next time I will just get up and leave without paying. I don’t think those two even know they are at work. When I complained about the service, I got an eye roll and walked away. No apology, no care. It’s a damn shame too because the food is always spectacular. I’m always recommending that people come there. Just awful. The people at the one other table at that point were complaining because they had been sitting there forever with no food. As we were leaving they were upset because they were brought completely the wrong meals. UPDATE: We decided to go again tonight, mostly because as I mentioned before, the food is fabulous. We have been to this restaurant a million times and never had a bad experience except for the time mentioned above. Usually I would never write a horrible review just on one bad experience. I think it’s because when I complained, I did not receive an apology. When we came home tonight, I seen that I received a very nice email from a server named Ryan who explained that the server who gave us the awful service was new and was let go because she was giving bad service to a lot of people. He also offered to come in on his day off so that he could make it up to us. As I stated before, I seen this message after I went tonight so we didn’t get the opportunity to meet him. I do appreciate the gesture though. Onto our experience tonight. It was fabulous. I had the meatball appetizer which literally melted in my mouth. My husband had the Crostini appetizer and said it was fabulous! For dinner I had the ricotta ravioli and my husband had the cioppino(sp?). Wow, his meal was huge! It was the first time he had it there and said it was the best meal he ever had. My raviolis were tender and filled with creamy dreamy ricotta. Our server, Alex, provided the kind of service I am used to at Josie’s…very attentive and helpful, great personality and on the ball. Sebastiano, the general manager, came out to apologize for our previous experience and to make sure everything was good. He was super friendly and I could tell was sincerely sorry that we had such a bad time at his restaurant. He then comped our meal, which was very unnecessary but very appreciated. All in all, I will go back to recommending that everyone visit. Everything there is 25% off for the summer so now is the time to try it. I promise the food is spectacular!

Went to Josie’s last night with another couple and had a great meal. I had chicken pizziola which was very tasty and filling. The garlic rolls were great and the service was good. Will come again.

Arrived with family of four on a busy Friday evening was mid March 2016 was sat down within 15 mins tops only to have to wait for the waitress to make contact 10 – 12 mins later after being sat down. Waitress apologized and was super friendly. Placed our orders and each course came out right after the other timely and hot. Chicken parm was excellent! A little pricey but would definitely return.

Great lunch at josies! Sat outside, excellent soundtrack. Our waiter alex was superb and anticipated our every need and gave great suggestions. We started with a trio of fresh mozzerellas with heirloom tomatoes, best tomatoes since we have hit fla and cheeses amazing. My hubby loved his spag and meatballs, my daughter her spag bollo. My prime burger, truffle crème, smoked bacon, arugula, onion jam and fontina was seriously the best burger I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot! Waters promptly refilled, great garlic rolls… a little pricey for dinner but we will definitely be back!

Came to this place based on the church bulletin advertising and it was incredible. I highly recommend this Italian place. A must is the Octopus appetizer. Great friendly staff and service. Ask for Mathew, he is the head waiter and he is very good.

It’s super bowl Sunday so that only means one thing ! Pizza and wings! I decided to give Josies a try. When I called I was offered free delivery or pick up! but since I’m so close I decide to pick up. The girl who took my phone order seemed knowledgable, patient, and bubbly, making sure she got all my requests for my pizza temp and wing sauce. I was told 15 – 20 minutes for my food. When I arrived I was greeted by a cute blonde at the register who took my payment. She offered paper plates, napkins, side Parmesan cheese, I smiled and said no thank you since I was just taking it home. Such a Delightful take out and didn’t have to cook! thanks for dinner Josies!

It is a blustery night in south Florida, husband and I didn’t feel like going out and pizza didn’t sound great tonight. We called Josie’s and ask if the delivered other foods off there menu? Like eggplant stefinia? Sure the said! It was wonderful hot delicious!!! Grilled eggplant wit angel hair spaghetti and a great salad. It beat the pants off of pizza(although they have great pizza). A gourmet meal at home. Thank you Josie’s.

Just had a great lunch. Excellent Cobb salad with juicy, delicious grilled chicken(not overcooked for a change) and a wonderful Spinach mushroom pizza. Shared both with a friend and had a third of each left for her to bring home to her hubby. All fresh ingredients. All delicious(and I am a true Bklyn Italian). Also great service by waitress Genesis BUt I’m still gonna stand by my opinion that your ‘Reubens’ are inappropriately named. I can’t call my meatballs a prime rib and say«oh that’s my version of prime rib». Sorry Chef Mark. That’s too far out of the box. It may be a good seller but call it what it is and it just ‘ain’t a Reuben’ no way, no how. Not in New Joisy, NY, or even in Fl. You’re a Chef and your place is a bit too upscale for this. And I wouldn’t be so quick to be sarcastic as I’m sure we Northeners give you lots of business and maybe some sophistication. Ha

Hands down my favorite place to eat in Boynton Beach… Great extensive menu… traditional meat dishes… great pasta dishes… we love the pizza… thin and crispy… the way I like it… salads are also amazing… and with a new consulting chef bringing in some tasty dishes on the specials menu… Try to get a seat at the bar with Gwen, she rocks!

This place hit the spot. I got a pizza to go one time a long time ago and never got around to eating a full dinner here. I finally made it in recently. I wish I been in sooner. It really hit the spot. The place wasn’t too crowded, probably because the snowbirds finally left. I sat at the bar and both bar tenders were great. They were friendly and treated me like a friend. I ordered a whiskey and chicken parmigiana. I was given the choice to have rolls; garlic or plain. I only wanted one garlic. My that was good. Very hot and soft. Not too greasy or overpowering. Was asked if I wanted soup or salad and I opted for the salad with the house Italian. It was delicious. Nice and thick. It wasn’t the white creamy kind but still creamy. The main dish came out just as I finished the salad. It was a thick piece of chicken rather than a giant thin piece. I was a little nervous because usually people screw it up when it thick. This was cooked perfect. The breading was great. The cheese was fresh, home made, or imported. Wow was it good. The sauce was good, but… there was something different about it. It had what I describe as a hint of cinnamon. I’m not sure why. I wanted the desert so bad but I was stuffed. I can’t wait to go back

I’ve driven past this place for years even after friends recommended it so last night I’m in the neighborhood and we stopped by. Greeted warmly at the front door — that’s always a plus. Service was attentive but a bit perfunctory(I get the feeling we were the waiters last table for the night). The food was good, not great but certainly well above average fare. I always ask myself«would you come here again?’ The simple answer is yes. Chicken parm isn’t a big challenge so next time I’ll opt for something a little more adventurous.

I go to visit a friend t least once a month and we always order take out to be delivered from this place. The food is delicious however they seem to have a poor communication. No mater how many times I mention to please add extra cheese, garlic, crushed red pepper they can never get it right! We even bet on it. lol One time, we ordered pizza, when we met the drive downstairs, the pizza looked like it had been tossed around in the box. The cheese was everywhere but the pizza. We were disappointed and didn’t want to complain, but we should have. This place is not cheap. Again, the food is great. Chicken parm is a fav. and the pizza is n. y style like.

Went here at 915 for the happy hour listed on their website. I have ordered pizza from there before and it was decent so I figured the late night happy hour was worth a try seeing as we live across the street. When we walk in 5 people are spread out on the bar as «regulars» leaving nowhere for the 2 of us. The bartender tells us to sit on the patio which is listed on the website as being part of the happy hour. We were greated by our server who shows us the 35 dollar dinner specials but makes no mention of happy hour. When we ask he tells us house wine and draft beer is 2 for 1. We get 1 of each. Then of course we have to ask about happy hour food which he somewhat acknowledges so we order 2 appetizers off the bar menu. They’re delivered fast and decent tasting. The bill comes and everything is full price. When we ask about happy hour the server leaves for 10 mins then returns to tell us it «must be old from the website». Thanks for the absolute garbage experience josies I won’t be back and I live 500 feet away so that’s saying alot. Another bs Italian joint who won’t even honor their specials in south florida
