These are pretty good bagels! I can say that this chain is not consistent though. This location has a much better product than the one in Missoula. The staff is friendly and you can call your order in for pickup so you will not have to wait if you are in a hurry or just having a lazy day. They have a pretty diverse selection and if you are in need of a bagel fix outside of NYC this is your place. I’m actually craving a toasted sesame bagel with cinnamon cream cheese this very moment…

I haven’t been to this place for a while and this is why. We went one day and I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich and when I got it(after waiting a while) it was a barely toasted plain bagel(I asked for jalapeño) and it had some over cooked eggs and two slices of bad bacon on it. That’s it! No mayo, salsa, hashbrowns or anything that would come on a breakfast bagel sandwich! It was bland and awful and the workers were too busy to care about it. So I left and tossed it in the garbage unable to finish it.

I used to love this place when I went to Montana State a few years back, but nostalgia does not help save what remains of bagelworks. Bagelworks used to be THE place to go for hangover cures before skiing. The 30 minute wait in the busy restaurant for the sandwich did nothing to appease my hangover, and unnecessarily postponed the gnar that I needed to shred. Sorry bagelworks, but loyalty to your company did not payoff.

To the gentleman with the pine cone necklace and tattoos working there.(sorry, he wasn’t wearing a name tag) give that man a raise! He was very pleasant to deal with and had a great attitude! It really made my morning. And as always bagel works is great! Fresh ingredients and great sandwiches!

Love this place. The tall man with tattoos has some of the best customer service I’ve seen in bozeman. Always happy eat here. Bacon egg and cheese… highly recommended.

This place is awesome. They make bagels all through the day so you hardly ever have to worry about them running out. Very inexpensive too! Their homemade cream cheese flavored are to die for. I usually opt for two salt bagels not toasted with veggie cream cheese. My order is $ 5. However, on weekends my family gets a bakers dozen(7) for $ 5.05 and a tub of veggie cream cheese $ 4. Great for breakfast and lunch!

Traveling from Portland and was in Bozeman for a few days and had to stop at bagel works every morning. I was stoked to see they had a kombucha from a Portland company and I felt right at home. The salt bagels were perfect and the vibe and atmosphere of employees is awesome. I wish this existed in Portland!

This place has lots of options. The pastrami is very good! Service is a little slow but it is worth the wait.

Came for lunch and staff seemed annoyed to have to serve us. Limited lunch menu, but good prices. A soda machine would have been nice.

Great bagels. I go on Fridays. Call ahead to order so you do r have to wait. The wait can take a while otherwise

Bozeman has a few places to get bagel sandwiches(Bagels Etc., Smiling Moose), but Bagelworks. With the prices so low, this place is unbeatable! Always super fresh, yummy bagels. I recommend the sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel or the turkey+tomato bagel sandwich. The place is usually super chill & quiet unless you happen to get there around noon on a weekday. Noon on a weekday means all of Bozeman High is coming to eat there, which is likely your personal hell. :) I wish they were open later in the day!

These guys have the best best bagels(I’ve been coming here for 20 yrs now). The works is delicious and the Asiago cheese is another fav. Toasted with their veggie cream cheese and tomato and onion and it is perfect. I have often been disappointed with bagels from Seattle to New York and in between cause bagel works has me spoiled. Almost gave them 4 stars cause they don’t have lattes which is the perfect combo but not super charming seating or outdoor area but for what it is, they deserve the 5.

Good bagels! If you want a breakfast sandwich on a toasted bagel then you have to ask for the bagel to be toasted — which I guess is a little surprising. Also — they used to have ketchup packets out and now if you want ketchup you need to ask them for a Costco sized bottle. It’s nice that they have water out though that you can serve yourself — often with lemon! The line is usually long so I would suggest calling ahead. Asiago bagels are the best I think for breakfast sandwiches!

Great Fresh Bagels, hectic staff and environment though. The coffee was absolutely disgusting. Don’t bother touching the coffee, stick to the bagels.

they aren’t knock your socks off good, but the bagels here do hit all the prerequisites. i really appreciate the fact that they aren’t over-sized or overpriced, and though it’s not the best i’ve had, veggie cream cheese always does me right.

Hands down: best bagels in the area. In fact, they rival Ice Coast bagels, to include DC and NY. If I were a bagel, I’d love you to eat me here. Prices are fair, especially given the high quality and the great service. I hadn’t eaten here in nearly ten years and was delighted to find that a) it was still open, b) that the quality was consistent, and c) the vibe was still very upbeat. Sad to learn that the coffee was still awful. Blech!

Im originally from New York where we do bagels regularly for breakfast. The bagels here are pretty good, although smaller than I am used to. I found the staff to be friendly, the manager was especially helpful and went out of her way to help me. At the end of the day it’s really the only place in town worth having one at, just be prepared for some wait times.

Really yummy bagels! I at first wasn’t sure where to park and didn’t see the other section of tables to the left so say at high top with my infant son. Not sure of they have highchairs for children.

Driving through Bozeman and we were going to go to Main Street over easy but they were packed since it is a Sunday morning so we decided to try bagel works. I am so glad we did because they were amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The drip coffee is delicious and it’s self serve which was cool & the sausage bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious! No complaints, if your in Bozeman stop in And get a coffee and breakfast Sammy! Yum!

This is my favorite place to get a yummy breakfast in Bozeman! I have discovered the egg sandwich. Where I come in California they call it an «eggwich» but for some reason I have never tasted one so delicious as at Bagelworks! I always get a works bagel with egg, bacon, sausage, and cheddar. Simple but delish! I should ask for my bagel to be toasted beforehand but I always forget. Remember it may take some time for all the ingredients to be put together… For my bagel it usually takes 10 – 15 min unless they are über busy. If I take my bagel home sometimes I add lettuce, though the sandwich is already so awesomely filled with deliciousness that it’s almost too big to fit In my mouth! I go to Bagelworks at least twice(or thrice) a week, and when I can’t, I attempt make a similar bagel sandwich at home but it is never, ever as delicious! The staff are usually friendly but I think tired because they have to bake the bagels and get up at 2:30am. Sometimes I wish I could get more smiles, they all seem so friendly! But, totally understandable demeanor when one has to get up so early… Love Bagelworks!
