Loved this place. I travel a lot for business and I’ve had some incredible sushi, this place ranks close to the top. Fish is flown in from Hawaii daily, and you could tell! Very fresh and large cuts of meat on the Nigiri.
Staff was great and helped me with a couple rolls when I couldn’t decide. I’m not a deep fried roll guy but everybody was saying «The Gobbler» was the local favorite.
I had Albacore and salmon Nigiri both were incredible. Also had spicy tuna roll and let the staff surprise me with my second roll. Both were fresh and flavorful. I’m coming back every trip I make up here.

Sushi in Montana — are you crazy?! Crazy like Dave. This place serves fresh original plates with a focus on perrrrfect. If you are a sushi/​Japanese food foodie you show visit this place.

I was curious to see what a sushi restaurant run by white guys in the middle of Montana would be like. It’s pretty good! Not the best sushi I’ve had, but few places are that good. The sushi here is fresh and creative, and the pieces are a good size too.
I had an order (2 pcs) of spicy scallop sushi, salmon nigiri, and tobiko with quail egg. They let me get one piece of tobiko with wasabi flavor and the other one citrus. I also had a special roll. All for $ 30. It’s on the expensive side but still within the reasonable range. A free soup or salad would be a nice addition.
Not much to say really, except they’re running a fun, casual, high-​quality sushi joint here. I’d definitely return.

Loved our dinner at Dave’s sushi. We had the agedashi tofu, broad comedy roll, the grave danger roll and the s’happening roll along with sashimi and nigiri and everything was super fresh and delicious. The service was prompt and efficient and the place was packed. Highly recommend for good fresh sushi!

Traveled all day, from the up tight east coast, found this gem looking for something healthy and good for my soul.
I found both things I was looking for at Daves, great vibe, super laid back, best Salad I have ever had w Daves Salad.

By far one of the best places in Bozeman. The sushi is fresh, the menu is vast, and plenty of sake and beer to choose from that complements your meal. There’s always a compelling daily special roll. The miso soup is delicious and satisfying. If you enjoy sushi this is a place to try at least once.
Keep in mind you may have to wait for a table during the regular dinner hour any day of the week, so be sure to take that into consideration before you head out for dinner. Parking is also limited.

This place rocks. The sushi is off the chart. Service was quick and friendly. The soy sauce on my shirt looks great. I’m a walking chic magnet. This place will get you lucky. Ju Ju Wasabi is the best server.

It’s ok-​not amazing. Maybe that’s why I’m disappointed. Honestly the sushi at T and C is way better! Disappointing. However thry are trying and customer service is great!

Excellent sushi, definitely try the tempura too! The staff is very friendly and they make the visit enjoyable. I would recommend arriving early or making a reservation as it is sure to be packed!

We came here for sushi. It was decent. Service was ok, not bad. Food came out fast but the fish tasted a little warm and soft for our liking. It would be a good place for large groups but nothing to write letters home to grandma about!

Awesome place! Went for a quick lunch — amazed at all the options and super original rolls. Really nice, helpful waitress had fantastic suggestions when we were picky, too. Definitely will return!

I’ve been dining at Dave’s Sushi for 10+ years, their sushi is consistently AMAZING! My 3 year old begs me to bring him to Dave’s for lunch at least once a month. Our service is always great even when they are super busy, and the staff is always great. Today while dining our waitress took time to talk to my son about his coloring page and the hostess remembered him and gave him compliments regarding his love for sushi. It’s a wonderful dining experience overall and I will be back for many years to come!!!

Great Falls, MT
Ordered calamari, yaki soba, daddy longlegs, broad something roll, and some nigiri. Everything was delish and the service and atmosphere was unbeatable. Good was fast. Chefs personally asked how everything was. Would recommend!

Wow!!! Impressive little sushi spot. Large menu for a sushi place but I have to say its the best sushi I’ve had in I don’t know how long. I’m from Seattle and the sushi places here suck considering were right next to get freaking ocean. But when I went to Montana to do some snowboarding I stayed in Bozeman. Found this place and it was so freaking good. Calamari was cooked so well, baked mussels were delicious and a touch spicy which made them so freaking good, nigiri tuna/​ikura/​sake were tasty. the quality of fish is great. After all that is the most important part. This guy takes pride in his craft with quality fish and presentation. Whenever I’m down there for boarding I’m hitting Dave’s sushi every time.

Dave’s Sushi is a treat start to finish. Happy wait staff, no nonsense ambiance, quick service, great wine list, fresh ingredients in a beautiful variety of bowls, rolls, sushi, sashimi, pan seared scallops, fresh salmon and asparagus, deeeelicious!

I’ve been to dave’s so many times, but my most recent visit was so amazing I want to tell people about it.
First of all, our server was attentive without being annoying, incredibly fast, friendly, and has excellent suggestions. But the real star of the evening was the chef’s choice roll. We said we wanted cream cheese, mango, and ahi, and the chef crafted the most delicious roll I’ve ever eaten.
The fish is fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and not overpriced. Been coming here for years, and that meal renewed my passion and faith in the restaurant :) just amazing.
