Made our second visit here. First time was with local friends few years back. We remember how amazingly fresh the seafood was. Stopped by to get couple lbs. of grouper and delicious royal red shrimp and friends cooked at home. Yum! Yum! Yum!
If you plan to cook yourselves, get some tips from the staff there.

Loved this market! The fish was point on and the people working were helpful and offered us samples of anything they had available! The pre-​made shrimps are awesome, the swordfish was incredible. When we were there the lady had made homemade tuna salad, buy it!!! The homemade cocktail sauce was also amazing! We bought a bag of the suggested hush puppy mix, really good! The best thing I had was the smoked salmon. I have never had smoked salmon that good on my life! So tasty, melts like butter in your mouth.
When you walk in, watch out for Ladybug (the dog) she’s not moving for you! lol

Royal red shrimp simply the best. Marinated them in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and so on. popped them on the grill. Yum. Seafood as fresh as fresh can be and friendly, helpful service.

1lb fresh cooked and seasoned gulf shrimp $ 12.95 yum. This place has a seafood mkt and restaurant. We went to the mkt only and bought our fish there. Clean, no fishy smell. My only complaint is that the woman working the counter was very rude. I called ahead of time and asked if they had fresh fish. «Yes, this is a fish market. You must not be from around here». I asked if she had flounder which is my favorite. «Well if you like boring fish that really doesn’t taste good I do». All with a foul attitude and tone. Hey lady, my dollars support your store. Dont be rude and condescending to a potential customer calling your store– especially when there are numerous other choices in the area I can make. Other than that this was a nice place with fair prices

Another visit, got some FANTASTIC choices this time, yet again. Large red shrimp, some fantastic (simply FANTASTIC) black grouper, and we have become hooked on their smoked salmon. Their website has a 10% off coupon, btw.

Everytime when in Anna Maria, we stop here for the fresh seafood to cook, and also for a bite and a drink. Its the Locals place, great family run business, nice fun dockside bar with live music after 5pm. Great value, super fresh, few fried items, like most the other seafood places…
