Careful when you shop at Rice’s Appliances in Bradenton FL!!! After purchasing 6 major home appliances in 2013 spending well over $ 10,000 dollars and stupid me was talked into the extended warranty from them! DON’T do It! This warranty cost me over $ 1200.00 and I wanted to cancel last year 2015 and all I would get back is $ 208.00 geeze and I’m still waiting for it! Over 6 months! Shop at Famous Tates anywhere but Rice’s

We purchased a Kitchenaid Refrigerator from Rices Appliances in Bradenton, Florida. We have always purchased Subzero but were told that the $ 2500.00 Kitchenaid Refrigerator would be as good as the Subzero. We have never had any problems with the Subzero we have in South Carolina at our summer home. Within the first 60 days the ice maker broke down. We had it repaired but still had problems with the ice maker freezing over. Every 2 weeks my husband has had to dump the ice and use a hair dryer to unfreeze the ice collecting on the coils. Now the refrigerator is 22 months old and the ice maker has stopped dispensing ice. I called Rices and they said because we didn’t purchase the extended warranty that we would have to pay for it to be serviced this time. I can’t believe that we are having all these problems with a brand new refrigerator. We will never buy another Kitchenaid Appliance. We will stick with Subzero from now on out. The warranty on the Subzero is 5 years versus the one year warranty on the Kitchenaid Refrigerator.

After long wait at Sears where the salesmen were too busy engrossed with other customers to even say Hi I can help you in 10 – 15 minutes… My patience ran out after 20 minutes and we headed over to Rice’s where we where greeted by Patrick he was very nice price matched our range AND set up a 6 month no intrest plan and we were out of there in 30 minutes. We decided to further upgrade our kitchen and will be back to purchase the new fridge this week! Very nice customer service.

Worst on-​line shopping experience ever. Buyer beware!

I purchased an $ 850.00 Samsung dishwasher from Rice’s Appliance store. Within the first weeks of having this dishwasher, it was not getting dishes clean. Rice’s sent an «outside» company repair man, who’s attitude was not pleasant. He said there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher, that we just needed to run hot water at the kitchen sink before starting the machine. The dishwasher continued to underperform, we asked Rice to allow us to exchange it for a different brand, they said we would have to pay an $ 80.00 re-​stocking fee in order to do this. I felt this was poor customer service, and unreasonable. Soon thereafter the dishwasher began to deposit small black pieces of rubber on our «supposedly clean» dishes. Again Rice sent an outside company repairman, the same unpleasant one again actually, he stated the black rubber pieces «were just part of the insulation that wasn’t properly placed in the machine». Again, Rice would not make good on this defective machine, without my paying additional money.
We now wash our dishes by hand before placing them in our $ 850.00 Dish“rinser“
I will never shop at Rice again, and recommend the same to anyone. Horrible customer service would be better than what they offer — NO customer service.

I purchased all of my appliances for my condo remodel, all of the staff was professional and the installer’s were great and patient. Great Job! I will be back again
