Excellent coffee… Professional staff … Stop in for a cup.
This place always had a fresh pot on tap and it is REALLY good coffee. They serve desert pastry as well. This locally owned coffee shop is a perfect fit for downtown BB

If you still like your espresso strong and the total beverage handcrafted rather than semi automated from the machine, you will find this place refreshing. A Pacific Northwest transplant myself, I haven’t captured the perfect coffee here yet (I am frankly horrified at the most common, pastel lettered insignia, chain supply I see coworker cupping each morning. That is sugar water.) I want coffee that tastes like coffee and if you don’t do diluted and frilly either, you will enjoy this place as a break from commercial chain trends. Works like a charm for those extra grog mornings (or afternoons) too.

They open at 1pm on a weekday… and they’re next to a (commuter) train station.
A coffee shop. Wow. I guess I can starting looking soon for the «Going out of Business» signs.
But first, get a clue & post some hours on your door, even if your IQ hasn’t caught up yet to the rest of the thinking world.

Always liked the coffee here. Its consistently good. Never really tried the specialty coffees but the regular coffee (and decaf) is pretty good!

Nice place to sit and have a coffee. The regular coffee is more like a diner cup but it will do. I think the draw here is for the sweets they have. I skipped the snack but they have a case filled with really impressive cupcakes and other sweet things. Lots of seating and a nice change from Starbucks.

Really friendly service behind the counter– very nice place to sit as well. My friend ordered a cold drink that she liked (chocolate/​iced coffee I think?)
I also a hot chocolate and espresso drink with orange rinds… It was delicious!
If I’m back at this beach, I will definitely stop by here before heading to the beach…

I can’t say that I’ve had any of their desserts, but in terms of coffee, there’s certainly better options close by. It’s overly expensive and pretty mediocre. Stay away from their specialty drinks– they’re not nearly as good as they sound.
The main redeeming factors are the staff and seating. The staff is always friendly and there’s plenty of seating for everyone. The outdoor seating is a hit among my friends. It’s the perfect place to read in peace during the day and stay chatting with friends into the night.

Like a child, sitting in the passenger’s seat, I whined,
«I want a cupcake. I want a cupcake. I want a cupcake. I want a cupcake.»
And man, did I EVER get a cupcake! I guess there’s nothing like watching a pretty, petite premenstrual scarfing down a 10lb stuffed s’mores cupcake the size of her head.
I washed it down with one of the most delicious cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Just like a big girl.
That night I had a combination of sweet dreams of floaty, fanciful cupcakes and horrifying caffeine induced nightmares.
This place rules.
