Alpine Motel

Well, to start off… I was worried about the motel because after I booked my room thru
I started reading reviews that the place was awful. I thought about canceling based on the reviews but per
there was a 70 $ charge to cancel so… I decided I’m young, I’ll survive lol.
But once I got here, I looked around and it looked nice! There were flowers everywhere and it was real homey looking. There was a woman walking around watering all of the flowers, who turned out to be the owner. The woman told me how her and her husband had just bought the place back in March and they were fixing it up. She asked if I wanted to see the room before I paid which I appreciated.
The motel is cute & the room was clean. I am in the hotel with one bed, there is a microwave, coffee maker & fridge which I wasn’t expecting (because it’s a motel not a hotel). So it already exceeded my expectations.
There is a bar across the street & a gas station/​beer/​liquor store a mile down the road. There is a lake across the street with a fire pit.
Now that I am here, I am very pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend this motel.
