IHOP

Kids eat free, the is the best thing about it and I’m not sure it was worth it. The restaurant is not very clean. The booths need to be updated. The staff was there but not aware of there actions, we could here consent fighting and bickering from the back/​kitchen area. We could not get out of this place quick enough.

Awesome service from Dwayne very clean food was very fresh and it was really comfortable atmosphere thanks for breakfast at IHOP

5 star’s to Tiffany and the cooks in kitchen had a perfectly cooked egg white omelet! Nothing beats great customer service! After a long day at work

”Took my granddaughter to IHOP for breakfast was worst ever. Her order of pancakes had a hair on the plate. They took it back and took 30minutes to get a order that was cold. My order had bacon half cooked. They offered nothing to replace both meals we returned. Will never go back.

Went by for breakfast, it was not busy and we were seated right away. After 15 minutes we finally got someone to get us a server. The food came out relatively quickly, with two different dishes being cold, my potatoes were still raw. My glass was empty the entire time I was there and no one ever checked on us to see if our food was good or not. Not sure why people even still consider this place a option.

The lady brought the food but forgot to put fork and knife at the table an the food got cool by the time she bring the tools for us, plus the taste of the food wasn’t good at all everything was overlooked and flavorless, waste of money and time, very disappointed…

Pros: Staff was friendly even though they were in the midst of being deep in the weeds
Cons: rushed undercooked food, tiny dining room, parking is a backing accident waiting to happen
My wife, son and I came to this IHOP after discovering its nearby location on Unilocal.While we usually reserve Bob Evans for our Sunday morning breakfasts we decided to venture to IHOP for our love of their omeletes. We regretted our decision almost instantly when our food was served. Haphazardly prepared and presented in a fashion that gave the impression we were getting reheated leftovers, it was less than appetizing. My wife’s omelette was completely undercooked and the wait staff and manager, while pleasant and accommodating, didn’t hesitate to verbally bash the kitchen staff right there in front of us (an awkward and unprofessional experience).
I can’t say we would ever be back.

I’ve enjoyed eating at IHOP since childhood and, after living for a couple of years in an area that did not have one in convenient driving distance, I was thrilled to find this location after moving to Valrico.
Then I ate there.
As this is the first IHOP I’ve visited it some time, I’m not certain whether the issues I’ll be addressing are limited to this particular location or have become chain-​wide. I sincerely hope the former.
First, service is very hit-​or-​miss. I’ve had a couple of very competent, very friendly, very helpful servers who have provided excellent service. Unfortunately, I’ve more frequently encountered unenthusiastic, disinterested, or flat-​out rude employees and management. On one occasion, my party was left standing, waiting to be seated, for upwards of ten minutes despite only two tables being occupied simply because none of the staff came out of the kitchen area for at least that long. On another visit, my server seemed to feel there were better things she could be doing, and my whole meal was spent dealing with her muttering things under her breath whenever I made a request and slamming, rather than setting, my utencils, cups, plates, etc. in front of me, even splashing coffee all over – fortunately it dripped off the table to my side rather than into my lap.
The food is much the same. Sometimes the bacon is pleasantly crisp, other times it is a soggy, greasy mess. Sometimes the hashbrowns are delightfully golden-​brown, other times they are nearly raw. Even portion sizes are inconsistent. On one trip my companion ordered an entrée salad and received a nice, full plate of greens, vegetables, and grilled chicken but, on a subsequent visit, she ordered the same dish and received perhaps half as much.
Ironically, the one consistency with regard to the food is how distgusting the pancakes have been each and every time I’ve ordered them. I have high expectations for pancakes at IHOP, and rightly so, I should think. But rather than the light, fluffy, buttery cakes for which IHOP has always been known, the cakes I’ve received from this location have been uniformally dense, rubbery, dry and tasteless.
Again, I don’t know if these things are indicative of what can be expected of the chain as a whole but, until I can get to another location for comparison, I simply will not be eating at IHOP.

Coffee and tea very expensive when not offered more tea.2.35 per glad. had to ask for everything jelly, butter more tea etc.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Server Zeida was great. She was very attentive, friendly, and quick at service. Will be back!

I have never been to such an unorganized and unprofessional restaurant. I arrived as a party of one to be to be told there was a 30 minute wait even though I counted at least 6 empty tables. As I sat and waited, I realized very quickly that this was the result if a very lazy and uncaring wait staff.
I finally got seated and after waiting 10 minutes and observing plenty of servers waiting around, I asked who my server was of the one waitress who seemed to be working. Another 3 minutes passed and my server finally arrived.
It appears there is no team work whatsoever, and there is a «if it’s not my table I’m ignoring» attitude which on a Sunday at 11am can kill a business pretty quick.
As for the food/​it’s was typical breakfast. Nothing special. This rating is based on the service more than anything.

Great location, great service, and the food is better than what you expect from an IHOP. Everything was prepared quickly and had a good flavor to it. Even at 2:30am on a Sunday morning you still get chipper happy service. Can’t ask for much else. Definitely coming back, I might even try to do it when the sun is out!

I don’t see why there’s a two star average for this IHOP. Arrived there on a Sunday morning, it was packed, but was seated within 15 minutes, which is exactly what we were told when we arrived. Food was decent — your average diner breakfast food, although the pancakes are pretty damn good. Our server was very nice, and quick too.
The only small problem was that my eggs and bacon were a little too cold, but nothing horrible. But this places definitely deserves more than two stars. I mean, c’mon, it’s an IHOP, not breakfast at the Ritz. Give them a break.

This iHop restaurant was some what busy but nothing was waiting times or go some where else type of deal. Myself and my parents went and sat down in less than two minutes and ordered less than four minutes and drinks were brought to us in about three minutes and entrée came to us in about ten minutes which was really great due to how busy and manager helping out in the back cooking.
The server was nice and friendly came around every few minutes to see if we needed drink refills or to take any plates away from the table or drink glasses. I could tell she’s been doing this for awhile cause some servers wait for a long time to come around and leave the customer with out anything to drink.
If we had to come back to this iHop we would cause it changed a lot from last year when the service wasn’t so great from the waiter or waitress. If your looking for a place to eat and can’t get in to places like Cracker Barrel, New York Diner or Apple Bees try out iHop.

I can’t say that I expect much from IHOP. It would be more of a surprise if the place was clean and served great food. Unfortunately, it was as I would expect. Dirty with ok food. I watched a staff member refill a sugar jar and spilled loads of sugar on the floor. Do you think she cleaned it up NOPE. Other people walked by stepped in the sugar, look down to see what was crunching on their shoes, saw the sugar and kept on moving. Again, this is my view from the booth. If its this nasty for all to see imagine the kitchen. My booth was close to where the servers work and my husband and I got an ear full of bickering and yelling. Heard the manager tell a staff member that called in to keep their scheduled shift time or «be off every Thursday permanently!» While it was juicy to listen to lol it isn’t professional. On the positive side Angela our server was really sweet and helpful. Unless you’re feeling like a risk taker, go else where.

Not the most clean, but not bad! We had a decent server.

The last time I came here there was lipstick all over my cup. This time, my silverware, as well as the silverware from all nearby tables were SUPER dirty — had to ask for a disposable set. WILL NOT RETURN!

I really don’t know what the other people are talking about. I do feel kinda weird writing a review as good.
I’ve been there over 3 or 4 times. I never ever had a problem. I usually go when I have pancake cravings.
The service the last time I went yeah it was not the best, I only tipped her like 10%. it’s nothing to go crazy about…
But overall it was great.

One of the bad things about living in Brandon is that there is only one IHOP for all of Brandon. This IHOP happens to have pretty bad tasting food and crummy service. The last time I was there with my family I ordered an iced coffee, and the minute I received it the ice had evaporated away. The waitress seemed to really hate her job and messed up our order a few times, and when the manager came to apologize to my aunt’s boyfriend, he simply complained about how incompetent his cook was and that omelets shouldn’t be so hard to make. He didn’t offer to take it off the bill or anything and didn’t give my aunt’s boyfriend any reason to ever want to return to this IHOP.
My food tasted bland, the hash browns had no flavor, the country fried steak I ordered was also pretty tasteless. I was just another IHOP by Busch Gardens the morning before, and they had great service and food compared to this place. I don’t think I would be very interested in going here for breakfast again.
