Nordstrom Rack

I love this store! I was so excited and over the moon when this store location opened a few years ago. I first visited their department chain of stores several years ago in Chicago and having them here in Tampa Bay was so exciting for me. I can’t say their prices are always the best around town but you can find things here that you cannot find anywhere else at times. They are known to sell items that were shifted from the main store Nordstrom. I view them as a higher end version of a Marshall’s or Ross store. Carrying lots of designer brand named items but at a discounted price from the original price tag. I was in there recently and they had some beautiful Calvin Klein dresses for as little as $ 32 which normally sells for over $ 90 in other designer clothing stores.
If you normally shop at Nordstrom you would love this store. You can also use your Nordstrom card in The Nordstrom Rack stores and also earn reward points. They also offer double and triple points days like the regular Nordstrom store. For the ladies who love designer name shoes and have difficulty finding the larger shoes sizes like 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11 or 12 great news they carry a huge selection of those sizes in the brands you love.
Another great time to shop there is during their Clear the Rack events which happens every month usually around the middle of the month. All items in the entire store is discounted by an additional 25%. Also some of the items are available online at their site in the app store called HauteLook. Clear the Rack is my favorite time to go and shop there. I find great buys. I am a fan of this store and once I get in there I can spend hours looking through the goodies.

Very happy to have this store. I can always find something here for those special occasions without having to compromise taste and it doesn’t break the bank! Super clean and my husband LOVES the show selections!

I especially appreciate the accessories selection.
Everything is organized, and staff is helpful.
Not a fan of their clothes, however. Don’t know what it is, but they always end up torn fairly quickly.
My clothes from Target lasts exponentially longer than clothes from here.

This store has clothing for men and women ranging from baby to adult, accessories, makeup, sunglasses, shoes, and some linens. But not much selection of each. I think they go by season. Only the shoes have a lot.
The price is expensive. It’s not as expensive as the Nordstrom Rack in International Plaza. Better deals can be found at other stores. The brand names at Nordstrom Rack maybe better known, but the quality isn’t much different than cheaper brands.
The store is always clean, and well organized. The sections are separated nicely, easy to spot what you are looking for. The service is friendly, but don’t go out of their way to help anyone.

My favorite shop in the area. Hoping they can expand their clothing selecting (young adult), and offer pet accessories. Great finds on shoes, jewelry.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. HORRIBLE. THE WORST STORE EVER.
WHY? I’LL TELL YOU WHY.
1. It’s brand new and close to my house. Bad. Very Bad
2. I never leave here with no less $ 100 dollars debited from my account. (Who does that, put that money back immediately)
3. When I look in the shoe department… THERE’S ALWAYS A WHOLLLE BUNCH OF MY SIZE!!! Then I start panicking and cannot decide if I want 3 or 4 pair of shoes. WHYYYYYYYYYY? I cannot do this with Nordstrom Rack. At all.
4. If you wear business casual to work like I do, you can probably find something here. Like I said, this horrific dungeon of a department store always has more than I need and I get really upset at that.
5. The dressing room is always spotless. SPOTTT LESSSS. (I’m not impressed, I’m sure there’s spotless and really nice dressing rooms somewhere else in Tampa. they aren’t special. Not even a tad)
5. The dressing room attendants, by some sort of sorcery and black magic, I’m sure are ALWAYS SO POLITE and available. (LIKE…WHO DOES NORDSTROM’S THINK THEY ARE HAVING HAPPY, HELPFUL ANNNDD AVAILABLE EMPLOYEES? REALLY? I am just really over this store)
6. As if all of that wasn’t enough to annoy your eyes into tears, There’s a small NYX make up display. When Ulta is out, like they frequently are, I found what I needed here. (EWLLL…lame. SO LAME)
It’s so unfortunate to me that every time I go to Nordstrom Rack, I find way too many pair of shoes that I like, work attire and many other things.
I once came here and got this like majorly cute Michael Kors dress… perfect for summer… originally over 100 dollars marked down to $ 34. (Further deepening my love of stripes and MK nonetheless)
Welll, I’m here to tell YOU NORDSTROM RACK PEOPLE… That super cute dress on clearance marked down to $ 34 dollars… WELL, there’s better deal on designer clothing somewhere in the world. OK. YOU THINK YOU’RE THIS GREAT STORE, perfectly located on the Causeway so you can be bothersome to innocent women that don’t want to spend all their money here. I’m not even going to get into the sheer abundance of things I want women’s accessory section. Nope! Just won’t do it.
Most people would like a store of this quality. I’m convinced that Nordstrom Rack is the anti-​savings! Black angel of expenditures and abundance. The same sorcery used on the overly happy employees is what’s used on my steering wheel when I unconsciously pull in here to spend money and leave with 4 pair of the cutest sandals and viable work options.
That’s my story, I’m sticking to it.

I’ve been to the Nordstrom rack on Dale Mabry and found more of a selection there, but maybe that’s because this location is still new.
Staff was friendly, shoe/​boot collection was massive, and prices were super reasonable, so I’ll definitely be a regular here!

Went to the grand opening! Excellent service. Free champagne flowing, beer and appetizers!!! Good selection of clothing as well. Gave away 20 100 dollar gift cards!!! Got one. Will be returning!!!
