Food was good! Service was good for as understaffed as they were. Hire more people for Friday night! Not good for business or your employees!

The service at Tadpole’s is excellent. Our server was on the ball whenever we needed anything he knew before we asked. Our meals took a while to come out but he kept us apprised of the situation so we knew what was happening.
I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was very good, and so were the fries that came with it. The Bleu cheese crumbles on it tasted a bit odd to me, I am not sure if that is just me or if there’s legitimately something wrong with it. I would happily order it again.
Do eat here.

Extremely rude staff. Not worth your time or money. Stacy made tadpoles and with her gone it’s pointless to walk in their doors. The new girls are rude and do not listen to customers. Plus you can tell they are short on cash. The place is really falling a part.

My sister lives on this side of Brandon and comes here with her husband occasionally for quick adult beverage. The staff seem pretty down to earth and it feels like one of those places where everyone knows everyone. That’s always cool to see. I also met the owner and he was a SUPER COOL GUY!
The first time I came here was with my sister and my mom for a Crawfish boil that they have every year. There was live music so it was like a little mini festival on this day in particular. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 5 STARS!!! Word is the crawfish AND the cooks were flown in from Louisiana. BOY BOY BOY, when I tell you that was some of THE BEST CRAWFISH I’VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE… I AM NOT LYING TO YOU!!! It was a REAL CAJUN CRAWFISH BOIL with Potatoes, corn, mushrooms and sausage!!! (Those good olé boys from Louisiana could teach the chefs a ROUX a thing or 2 about REAL CAJUN FLAVORS) AAHHHHHHHH GOOD LORD, that was some good cooking. I big bucket of crawdaddies were $ 20 and the medium was $ 12. I didn’t matter because I would’ve paid $ 200 for that good food.
I really should give them 5 stars for that DAY alone HOWEVER… it was extremely hard to get a drink inside the bar that day. Like standing for a good 15 – 20 minutes. Also, this lady interrupted the bartender as he was taking our order AND he actually took hers. WHILE WE WERE ORDERING. UHH… No. I got seriously annoyed with her AND him.
Not one to jump to conclusions, I met my mom and sister there again (BY force) this time it wasn’t nearly as crowded. The food was average, the drink was good. Overall, it’s an okay place that my sister frequents because it’s close to her house. I will come here for that crawfish boil they have here but… that’s about it. THE OWNER of this place is awesome. I so wanted to love it here.

This place serves a decent burger and cold beer.
When we first entered, my husband gave me a look that clearly said «Where on earth did you take me?» The place was half empty, the locals were staring, and there was a stale odor surrounding our table.
However, once the food was served, the smell was no longer noticeable, and the decent food and cold beer were enough for us to enjoy our time there.
My husband had a side caesar salad, and he liked it. The greens were very fresh, and the dressing wasn’t too salty.
We both had burgers. They were well cooked and served hot. I had mine blackened and topped with bleu cheese. I couldn’t really appreciate the blackening, but I found the bleu cheese to be of decent quality. The fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned.
Our waitress was very sweet, and I noticed that she knew most of the regulars.
The décor isn’t much, but it’s a sports bar, and the many TVs had all the important games and matches going, so it all served a purpose.

Food is ok, nothing great but wasn’t dissatisfied. I was in on during a slow time but the bartender seemed disinterested. Beer was cold and cheap so that is a big draw. Seems like one of those places where everyone knows each other, having said that it probably would take a few visits to get a «friendly customer experience.»

In my opinion, the old Tadpoles was better. The new place is basically a bar that serves food. It’s not the kind of place I feel comfortable bringing my 6 yr old daughter to. The place is usually quite loud and a lot of the patrons are quite boisterous so if that’s what you are looking for, then this is the place for you. As for me, I like to enjoy my meal and watch some sports.
There are plenty of tables and booths but they very close together so it feels like you are sitting at someone else’s table. A lot of the space is devoted to video games so my kid is constantly distracted by it and will keep asking me to go and play with her. It’s hard for me to see her and so I have to choose to eat or go with her.
Now, as far as the food goes, I will say it is good but a little on the pricey side. A sandwich with chips is 9.99. The Buffalo chips are very tasty but I used to get so much more at the old place. For the price, I thought it would be enough food and it wasn’t. The service can be slow at times too. Not much consistency there.
The place is clean but like I said, I felt crammed inside a small place with much of the space occupied by the huge bar.
Parking is difficult too. I usually have to park in the dirt lot next door so if it has recently rained, it’s a mess.

Tadpoles used to be our place to go. Lately the food has been less than mediocre. On our last visit the buffalo chips order was considerably smaller than normal. The service was not very good. The corn beef on the Reuben clearly was prepackaged, salty and fatty. The sweet potato fries were over cooked. The food used to have more of a home made taste and feel but it seems that has gone by the wayside. Our bill was too high for the quality of food and service we received.

Food was good, server was attentive. It would have been 5 stars except you have to walk through the 10 smokers that are at the front door. If you are seated in the back it’s ok, if you are seated in the front the smoke OVERPOWERS the room.

Went Saturday night with the kids for the first time. Looks just like the old Shells inside that is used to be with exception to the game room that they put in. They had several burgers to choose from on the menu and my wife who who is normally pretty particular said hers was great. The kids all had chicken strips that they ate completely and got a few tokens with the meal as well. Great little family place with a full bar for the adults.

We were looking for a place we could take out from. Pleasantly surprised. I had the house salad with grilled shrimp. It was great, loaded with all the extras. We also ordered burgers, they were big and juicy. I would def go back again.

Good food with a bar side and a quieter side (a little). These wings are my son’s favorite. I have always loved the club sandwich and the buffalo chips. Last time I was there I tried their hamburger salad and it was really good! My family has always loved this restaurant and when it closed at its first location we were heartbroken. Well we are thrilled it’s back!

Used to go to the old Tadpoles and was so excited to see a new and improved Tadpoles opened! Great staff and great bar at night. During the day bring the kids, game room keeps them busy. Make sure you try the buffalo bites, you will love them!
