I have been to several wayback burger locations and the food is pretty consistent in all of them. We ordered a single custom burger, a buffalo chicken sandwich, and mac and cheese bites. The food came to our table in 7 minutes. I was impressed with the friendly greeting I received the moment I walked in the store. The owner is a very sweet man, and he came to our table and asked us how we liked the food. The dining area is very clean but the bathroom could use a little attention. Overall, I was happy with my experience.

We were looking forward to trying new burgers and our boys, of course, the triple triple. Our food all came out separately: burgers first, then we had to go ask for our milkshakes(one wasn’t even a full cup), and our cheese fries came late(with almost no cheese). The food was good, but not THAT good.

Poor service, so so burgers. I think they will have a hard time making it when you can go elsewhere and get tastier food

Mushroom onion burger and onion rings. Both were very good. Would recommend for a quick meal

Nothing wrong just average. Way too many better burger places for less money. Hamburger had no flavor. My wife enjoyed the chilli cheese dog. Won’t be back.

Here’s what you should do instead of eating here — 1. Buy a cow. 2. Take a class on butchery/charcuterie. 3. Plant lettuce/tomatoes/onions. 4. Harvest lettuce/tomatoes/onions. 5. Slaughter cow. 6. Age the beef. 7. Grind your own meat and form patties. 8. Bake some buns. 9. Grill some burgers. 10. Eat said burgers. You still will have eaten a burger faster than if you ordered it at Wayback Burgers. That is all.

Stopped in because our original destination was not serving dinner yet… so we thought, why not. Let me tell you why not!!! We ordered, paid, grabbed our drinks and I cleaned off a filthy table. After waiting about 10 minutes(and I was fine with that) a girl came up and said they made a mistake on my order and had to remake. I understood but did wonder how long it would take since a group of wrestlers & coaches came in after an area tournament. But our wait was fairly short. This«thing» appeared on our table. I got out of my seat while my hero husband knocked it to the floor and stomped it. He called for the girl to let her know she may want to get something to pick this«thing» up and explained«we won’t be eating here.» Peeling it off his shoe was disgusting but more disgusting then the ginormous ROACH(that needed a name and a saddle) was the fact the person in charge… be it owner/manager, NEVER said a word or apologized for the experience. We left quietly.

Great burger … Great service. I’ve been there several times with different family members and everyone loves it! A good boutique burger joint in the area!

Pretty good. My husband likes it more than I do. I would prefer Steak N Shake to this, but Wayback is closer to our house.

Sent me to the JOHN immediately after finishing… Overpriced, I agree. I make a better burger at home…

Headed to the Mill creek/Northview football game. The crew wanted burgers so we thought we would give WAYBACK a try! We ordered chili dogs, cheeseburgers, fries and those nice fat onion rings and it was meh so so. The prices are more than expected. I thought it would have more flavor in the fresh meat patties. Onion rings were nicely GOLDENBROWN. Everyone ate every bite of the food.(We arent wasteful) The order wasnt too long of a wait though it had a bit of a crowd on a friday evening. I see they have a 9 pattie burger, thats not something i would eat, but hey go for it carnivores(why not)

Unilocal pulled my firt review, advised me that I did not put in enough information. So here goes again. My wife and I went to this location, the place was busy. We placed our order and waited 45MINUTES for two regular burgers and fries. The couple that came in just before us left at the 30 minute mark. We sat near the cash register and heard other people getting thier money back. I can’t comment on the food but the manager was respectful and he he regretted having to give my money back. If I go back and have a chance to taste the food I will do a better review but at this point I can only give a star

I’ve been to Wayback Burger twice now and been disappointed as many times. First time I got takeout and our burgers had nothing on them, not even what comes on them. Maybe a training issue? Our chili cheese fried were also missing the chili. The second time I went in for a takeout order again. The Manager took my order and I sat to wait. 20 mins later I asked one of the girls running food to check on my order. I had watched nearly everyone that came in after me get their food. I waited a few more minutes and then had to ask her again. She was gone about 5 seconds and came back with my bag, dropped it on the table, said«here’s your bag» and walked away. I checked the food(based on first experience) and no surprise, it was stone cold. I walked up to the counter and the grill cook turned around and asked, with a little but if attitude, what I wanted. Literally asked«what do you want?». I said I needed to speak with the manager and he pointed to the manager, who was still manning the cash register & taking orders. Didn’t walk over to him to let him know or anything. At this point I’m MAD and I head for the door. Needless to say by the time I got home my burger was so cold I didn’t even finish it. All of that aggravation cost me $ 12. Way too much. I can get crappy service, cold food and attitude at any drive-thru window for a heck of a lot less money. I’ve spoken with the manager(owner) before and he seems like a very nice guy so I hate to bash his restaurant this badly but it really is bad. If I had any advice I would suggest that he overhaul his staff. They come off as lazy, rude and totally apathetic. One other commenter said that they weren’t ready to be open. I agree. Close for a month get a new team and start over.

Pretty overpriced. Two burgers, a hot dog, fries, onion rings, milkshake and a drink for $ 32. The burgers themselves were just«meh, nothing special». The meat was good quality, but bland; the onion rings were too sweet for me. The milkshake was no better or worse than a McDonald’s milkshake. Service was decent; the food came out fast(unlike other people’s experiences below), and the manager visited every table to check on things. The whole place is small, and the kitchen seemed like barely-organized chaos, which made it a little distracting. No real reason to go back.

Dubbed it «Not Goin’ Back Burger.» We let the opening weekend hype of the place die down a bit as we’d tried to eat there once before, but the line was to the door and their seating is very awkward — only 4 tables for groups of more than two. No wait, there was a 5th larger table but somebody in their staff appears to have set it up as his or her«office» w/paperwork and laptop on it. When we went back, they were more than adequately staffed, with around 13 people behind the counter despite that there were only several other tables occupied. The gal who took our order was very friendly but didn’t seem to understand how the menu worked, which resulted in our burgers not having the toppings on them that the menu listed as standard, just the optional ones that we requested. The food came out very quickly, unlike other reviews saying otherwise. But it was just okay; nothing extraordinary about it. I would’ve been happier with Burger King down the road(clean, quick, friendly, and way cheaper.) We were interrupted at least 4 times while we were eating by no less than 4 different members of their staff asking how everything was with very upbeat, smiley attitudes. It was very nice of them, but after the 2nd time, I almost wanted to be honest and just say, «not so great.» There comes a point when you just want to chow and converse with your table and move on. I’m glad that there is a new restaurant in this particular location in Braselton, as I’ve seen so many different joints come and go there over the years and I wish Wayback Burger all the best(although I really think we need some Greek or Vietnamese around here personally…) but if I want a fast burger, I’ll stick with Burger King, and if I want a restaurant burger, I’ll stick with Houndstooth or Jeffrey’s in the same shopping complex.

It took 50 mins to get our order. We watched multiple people receive their food who walked in after us. When we finally did receive our food several components were incorrect. My friend received a burger that you could not even see under the bun. The bun was excessively large and the patty was very small. They did compensate us with milkshakes. The staff was friendly, they just need to work out some very serious kinks.

I would be happy to review the burgers but after a 45 minute wait I requested a refund and went across the street for dinner. They are new and everything looked good on the menu but they are not ready to be open. Need additional training and help. Might try again in a few months if they are still open.
