Nekter Juice Bar

I go here all the time since I work nearby and it’s honestly such a great place, everything on the menu is delicious and I know some people mentioned the waits for line and food but I think it’s totally reasonable for the quality and freshness of what you’re getting, I totally recommend getting the app so you can earn points and order ahead to skip the line.

It took 20+ min to get my 16 oz Mango Delight meanwhile everyone else that came after me received their orders first.

Finally made the drive and picked up a pitaya bowl for breakfast here, it was just as tasty as my favorite location from Pasadena. I think the butteriness of the coconut butter is finally rubbing off, because I found myself rather actually liking it quite a bit. Well made and the portions are generous for about $ 8.00. I love the fresh organic coconut shavings on top that gives it the perfect crunchy texture as well and the hemp granola they add in: muey bueno. :3 SO GOOD.
Staff was really friendly and the place was clean, since it was relatively early (around 9:30am) on a Sunday, the place wasn’t too crowded yet so the service wasn’t slow at all.
Side note, most places that sell bowls average about $ 7-​$ 9 now (might be expensive to some people).

If this was purly based on the food/​juices it is GREAT! but the staff here is just not friendly. i come here probably every other week & it is always the same. Waiting there while the girls just talk. when i ask for an extra bowl for my daughter they act as if i am cheating them. Like i said if this was based on food ⁵⁄₅ !! but the staff needs some work.

I went here a couple of weeks ago for a third time & bought the PB bowl. I figured after my previous issues with juice here, I’d be safe with a bowl.
I was flabbergasted when I received it… The portion was smaller than usual, there was less than half a banana, and 1 strawberry. I’ve had these bowls many times from different locations and they all have higher standards. So when the Nékter app asked me to review my most recent visit, I was eager to.
Now I decided to give them one last try, mainly because I didn’t want to drive an extra 5.4 miles to go to the good Nékter in Anaheim. I’m not sure if others complained too, but this seemed liked a new Nékter. The staff were even friendlier and more attentive than I’ve ever seen here before. Now the PB bowl was on point! It was a good portion, and they gave a a couple large strawberries, plus a whole banana. Ok no the taste… Sooo fantastically wonderful!!! They have redeemed me as a customer. And I can now look forward to going to this location.

So I’ve given this review two stars because I would love to give the the individuals who fixed the mess some credit. Be it two months later. I also hope this review is viewed by the corporate office that never called me back three times after requesting that I contact them.
I purchased a three day cleanse back at the end of march. Halfway through the first day I noticed that the juices I was drinking were all expired. So later that week once I had the opportunity I returned to the store to attempt to get a refund for the expired cleanses. Richie the manager helped me and said that he could do nothing due to some corporate policy. This is interesting due to the fact that he was the store manager, you would think they have the freedom to take care of an issue especially expired food. But I was okay with contacting corporate. He gave me a number and his own store number so I could attempt to get the juices refunded. I also was able to get him to refund one of the cleanses that day, but he would not refund the other two. At the time, he seemed like a nice guy.
Fast forward two weeks. I’ve called the corporate offices three times left messages. Never received a returned call. So I return to the store (after calling several times and not having the phone answered, he not there. So I return a few days later when he is. I speak with Richie and he tells me he’s super sorry and will call them immediately. He takes down my number and promises to call back that night. Two days later, no call from Richie. I call the store no answer. So I go in and they tell me he’s out for two weeks. Yay!
So finally three weeks later I call back. This time I ask for Richie. Apparently Richie has moved to a different store and there is a new manager. So reluctantly I speak with her.
Thank God she was reasonable. Surprisingly enough she actually fixed the problem. She told me to come in the next day for my refund. Wonderful woman, she apologized and everything.
So I come in today. She’s not there. But lucky there is an employee names Zack. Zack remember me from mu first visit back in march and calls up the manager to get approval to refund me. Zack’s customer services was fantastic. He was genuine and went out of his way to fix the problem that was ignored by the Manager Richie. He resolved it and took care of something that should have been taken care of long ago. I swear this company needs to hire more people like him and the current store manager. And I recommend getting rid of this Richie scumbag and giving Zach his place. He deserves it.
So two stars for an experience that should be zero. One for Zach and one for the Current store manager.
Now my message to corporate. Fix your damn policy or hire better people. I should not have to wait 3 damn months for a refund of EXPIRED food. And answer your phones or at least call people back. Get rid of Richie because he obviously doesn’t take his job seriously. Throughout all of this I stayed calm. I never yelled or got upset I waited and gave you the chance to fix it. In the end it was fixed. But it was the most frustrating situation I have ever been in with a company. I don’t believe in fighting people or yelling to get my way because that’s just not classy or kind whatsoever. But the reality is if I had made a huge fuss I probably would have been helped quicker. I don’t appreciate companies who are cowards and only do things when pressured. That’s a failing business model.
Thank you Zack, hopefully you will have a much better opportunity then this place soon.

I love Nektar! I never had been to this location before but they were polite. Someone said hello when I walked in immediately. They definitely don’t go out of their way for customer service though. The cashier didn’t say one word to me. The service was very quick! I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes which is great!

Recommendation: toxin flush!
I’ve tried their smoothies and acai bowls, and thought they were just basic. Nothing too special to be honest. Their toxin flush juice, however, was so delicious!!! It’s definitely a winner in my books, and will keep me coming back for more. Although Nektar is a little on the pricier side, I’d say it’s worth it for freshness and health benefits.
I’ve tried The Greenies juice as well, which is more nutrient dense than the toxin flush, but the latter tasted much, much better (I can’t stand earthy, veggie-​filled tasting juices).
Parking is easy… Nektar itself is located in the corner of a huge plaza!

My go-​to for açaí bowls! I always get the banana berry bowl, but without bananas! It’s so delicious! The actual blended part is always thick and never soupy! The bowl is a pretty good size and it’s pretty filling. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area since other places are pricier than Nekter.
They offer other things besides bowls, the pitaya smoothie is good too, but I always go back to the bowl! It’s so refreshing and it’s a good afternoon snack, even though it’s supposed to be a meal replacement! Eat it quickly or else it will melt!
It can get busy, but the employees work quickly, the longest I’ve waited is around 15 mins, but it’s made to order and worth it!

I’m here all the time and I could confidently say that the service at this location improved. The line and wait is unbearable especially during lunch time but I’m glad I haven’t seen that problem lately.
Nekter is pretty simple — you order at the counter and wait for them to prepare your juice, smoothie or bowl. You could even customize with add ons like protein.
Some of my go-​tos: the Greenie, banana berry burst smoothie, popeyes acai (tastes like an almond/​vanilla smoothie) and the banana berry bowl. I personally like the juices here the most because it’s made the most consistently. I’ve had my days where they made my smoothie too watery or my acai bowl was still frozen. I’ve made it a point to come here if I can’t decide what to eat for lunch because at least I know I made a solid (and healthy) decision. =P Overall, it’s a reliable juicery/​snack option in the area!

LOVE their bowls! I get the pb or the berry bowl. Seemed pricey at first but they use a lot of fresh fruit and they are big enough to fill you up for a quick meal so its pretty worth the price! Plus their granola is SO GOOD & Service is always friendly!
The only thing to complain about is that their bowls are a hit or miss. Sometimes there are chunks of frozen acai which is really bitter, or really little fruit, while other times the acai is smooth & thick and with great fruit proportions! But ⁴⁄₅ times I go I enjoy the bowls! :)

This place is so much better than your typical juice/​smoothie place. They have so many vegan options and they don’t ruin their drinks by adding yogurt. They use cashew milk which is awesome. I get the PB bowl which is super good if you like peanut butter. The only bummer about this place is sometimes the employees don’t remember when you order shots. I don’t know if the receipt doesn’t print the shots on it or what but I’ve ordered shots like 3 different occasions and they forgot about them each time

I have yet to find the best acaí bowl/​juice bar in CA. I was visiting the area for the holiday. I went in here Christmas Eve for breakfast. Pretty crowded at the time. I was pretty disappointed for these reasons:
— Service was bland. The girl behind the cashier gave no greeting/​welcome at all. Just stared at me with a straight face till I walked up to the cashier & started talking my order. I realize it’s rush hour, but it’d be nice to be greeted.
— The wait time was long. Waited probably 30+ minutes. As previous reviews have mentioned, there were customers who came way after me & received their items in less time. I ordered 4 items; all given at different intervals.
— The pitaya bowl I ordered was ok. Not great. The ratio of coconut/​granola to pitaya mix was 2:1. My wheatgrass shot was really foamy but one of the better ones I’ve tasted.
Overall, 3 stars. But pretty reasonable prices.

$ 7.50 for their banana berry ACAI bowl. Cheaper than the one my BF took me to in SF. And the portion was huge! I had to push myself to eat it because it was delicious. Not too sweet. Presentation was cute as well. Mmmmm I wish they had different sizes though. I probably would have been fine with a «small» for 5.00 or so. Parking was easy.

Love the juices and smoothies here. Storefront tucked away next to Green2Go. Definitely worth a visit for my fave drinks!

UGH! Just thinking about writing a review for this Nekter makes me angry all over again. I came to Nekter with my BF during mid-​morning Saturday. We ordered 2 acai bowls — there was about 6 people ahead of us waiting for their orders at this point. We ended up waiting almost 40 minutes for both our acai bowls. Are you kidding me…
There were two people who came about 15 minutes after and received their orders prior to everyone else before them because they knew one of the girl working that morning. Seriously, we’ve all been waiting so step aside and wait your turn.
On top of that, my acai banana berry bowl was flavorless after that long wait. The bf’s pitaya bowl was decent. I would much rather go to Sustain Juicery in Chino Hills! Pretty much the same price but it also tastes better and they give more.

Normally I go to the Nektar in Anaheim Hills but I decided to check this one out. I stopped in on a Saturday morning to pick up a couple of 2 day cleanses and when I walked in I certainly didn’t get the fresh and cool vibes you normally get when you walk in juice bar. It smelled like a juice bar and it was loud like a juice bar but the people there seemed to hate working at a juice bar.
I walked over to where the cleanses were and grabbed a couple. I asked the girl behind the counter for additional information and she was so annoyed. All I asked was, «Hi, I’m interested in 2 – 2 Day Cleanses. Is everything I need here?» Excuuuuuuuse me. So I grabbed what I need and went to the register. I needed 1 more bag so I asked the cashier if they had more in the back. She said, «Yea». Ummm ok well can you go get it? I’m not here to take inventory. By this time I just wanted to pay for these damn cleanses and leave.
On a plus note. I’ve done research on other cleanses and Nektar’s is the most reasonably priced in the area. Great product. So-​so service.

Nektar oh how I actually crave your delicious, healthy and super yummy juices and smoothies.
My favorite is The Greenie without apples but still super yummy and I add ice to it. Since I limit my sugar intake apples are a no no and when I need a cleanse I opt for their 3-​day advance cleanse which is easy to follow and they provide all your bottles in a cool little bag.
This Nektar as all others tend to be noisy, but it’s no bother to me as I tend to take my juice to go. But if you prefer to enjoy your drink there they do have a nice patio outside.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgable of all their products and I often see them chatting with customers that are new to juicing and explaining their products to them and making them feel at ease, which makes you want to keep going back.

Out of all of the places that sell acai bowls, Nekter has one of the most reasonable prices for size.
Their acai bowls are huge– I don’t finish one unless I eat it for lunch. (And with just that one bowl, I’m stuffed.)
Service is friendly, but a little slow. The employees like to chitchat amongst themselves, which I don’t mind because it’s nice to see that they’re having fun. But still, if someone has placed an order, they don’t start making it immediately… It can take anywhere between 4 – 6 minutes at times.
The environment is nice. When I walk into Nekter, everything just smells healthy.
Nekter is worth trying but I personally wouldn’t come here everyday.

I always come in whenever I’m craving a quick and healthy snack, and this place never disappoints.
Ambience:
–LOUD. They’re always mixing drinks or making smoothies or creating acai bowls, so there’s always a blender or juicer going at all times. They do greet you whenever you walk in and the cashiers are mostly always friendly. It definitely smells like fresh fruits and vegetables when you walk in. You can actually smell it from outside!
Food:
–Banana Berry Acai Bowl $ 6.95: it’s the top thing on their menu of acai bowls and definitely one of their most popular things to order. I can’t finish this on my own so I always share it with my boyfriend. There are strawberries, blueberries, bananas, granola, and honey that top off this bowl. The honey definitely does it for me. It makes the entire bowl a lot sweeter, but just the right amount of sweetness to keep you going. Sometimes, it’s hard to get to the food at first because they overfill your bowl with goodness. They don’t really do a good job of wiping the bowl before they give it to you though so you might have some of the base on the side of the bowl.
Con:
–I don’t like that they’re closed so early! I always have to make sure that I get there before 6pm or else I can’t get a bowl. It makes sense since dinner is right around the corner, but still.
