I think this place deserve more than 3 stars. It’s a great place for happy hour; beer and appetizers anyone? The nachos were bomb! It wasn’t crowded at all for a weekend afternoon. Great beers and awesome customer service! Would come back here again :)

Delicious! Our group are salmon Caesar salads and beef brisket sandwiches. All of it was amazing. We were a bit disappointed that they were out of the lobster bisque though. Beer and drink menu was also great and prices were reasonable for everything!

Loved this place and the staff was SO nice! The patio has a lovely view — truly one of the best in Breckenridge. Food was yummy! Can not complain at all. Had a lovely time here. Wait staff and management were very attentive and we felt great about our decision to stop there for lunch. Coleslaw was amazing btw!

Very disappointing. This place had so much promise based on its menu but fell very short on food quality and service. I ordered bbq brisket. Normally a good be brisket that is smoked has a good smoke ring and is full of flavor. What I received was sliced very thin, was grey and had no flavor. My server, Maggie, seemed like she didn’t care to be working. Sh didn’t greet me, took my order with little interest, did not check in on me after my food was delivered or at any time during the meal, and took about 15 minutes to take away my half eaten plate after I set it aside. Did I mention the place was empty. There are much better place In Breckenridge!

If you’re expecting a high-end steakhouse, well, Kenosha isn’t really that. But it’s certainly a good place to refuel after a day on the slopes. The barbecue platters and sandwiches are delicious(I always get a steak sandwich with crispy onions and melted cheese… mmm!). The place is pretty big too, so we’ve never had to wait for a table.

Touted as a steakhouse I had really lofty expectations regarding food quality, but I was sadly disappointed. This was my first and only visit to the restaurant while in town for the weekend. Service: excellent! Our server handled our party of 8 with little to no issues. Food: this is what makes everything a one star, because I go out to eat for good food and they fell extremely short of that. 6 people ordered a steak, I had nachos(not much of a steak fan.) Maybe this is on me for order nachos? I assume that steakhouse means one thing, MEAT! Which to my definition, would be ironic because that is exactly what my chicken nachos lacked. I swear it felt like there was maybe 1 ounce of chicken in the entire dish! Loaded with terrible cheese(shredded) that had been burnt on the outer edge. Just felt like for the price I was paying, you should get more bang for your buck on that one. The group wasn’t too impressed with their steaks either. Price: beer is cheap for a restaurant of course. I rolled with a brew for about $ 4 a 12 ounce. Nachos ran me about $ 14 deep which was a huge mistake. All in all I would avoid. Not many places in town that had good food either.

Great spot on Main. They have a different special every night of the week. My favorite special is all you can eat ribs for $ 19 on Mondays. They have meals ranging from $ 10 to about $ 25. That’s anything from a hamburger to a steak. Lots of options. Affordable Main st restaurant.

Lots of craft beers on tap here. Happy hour from 3−6pm so if you get off the mountain early, stop by Kenosha before the crowds arrive.

Sat at the bar, you can see into the kitchen where the fryer and grill resides… witnessed cross contamination of red meat, onions, a chef’s water, fries, mixing bowls, seasoning shakers: A «cook» cut red meat bare-handed, wiped his hands on his pants then through his long hair just to immediately cut onions with the same knife and cutting board. Then another chef used the trash can to rest the French fry basket while loading it before tossing into the deep fryer. Overall more than 30 food items and containers were contaminated in less than 20 minutes. Eat at your own risk, danger danger!!!

I will start by saying the food was amazing! Our waitress however was very rude. Most steakhouses will give you some bread with your meal. She said they don’t do that! When we ordered the mashed potatoes she said they were out of mashed potatoes but had baked potatoes. I’m no genius but I am pretty sure mashed potatoes come from potatoes. I know this isnt a fine steakhouse but when I’m spending $ 150 on a meal I would like a waitress with a little class, not some young girl that thinks she’s hot crap. As I was saying, the food was amazing, the steaks were perfect, but the staff could use some work. Oh and every steakhouse should have bread with your meal, this is the first one I’ve been to in 40 years that does not offer it.

Do not get their barbecue brisket! They cook it, slice it, refrigerated it, and when they get an order they take it out warm it up and deliver to your table. You can taste the warmed up meat flavor + too tough to eat. The manager(a vegetarian) told us this process when we complained. He did replace it with pulled pork which heated up much better. Atmosphere was lacking — loud and crowded seating. It is probably a fun place to go for appetizers and beer but NOT for dinner.

I think the word«steakhouse» in the name is a bit misleading. Sure, they serve steaks here but there’s also lots of other choices, like burgers, sandwiches, and BBQ. Interestingly enough, three different kinds of fish are on the menu, as well as a whole steamed lobster(though tempting, I’m not quite brave enough to try steamed lobster in the middle of the Colorado mountains). Daily specials are also featured. So, I guess there really is something for just about everyone here. My favorite dish was the Summit Nachos appetizer, which we had smothered in buffalo chili. They come fully loaded, including fresh jalapenos. Everyone at the table loved them and we all agreed they were a top nacho contender. The beer menu seemed extensive and included a good number of local craft beers. I, of course, enjoyed the $ 5 happy hour wine. Both times we’ve been here, we’ve been with a group and sat upstairs in one of the big booths. There is lots of seating here to accommodate large parties. The patio looks nice but I’ve only seen it covered in snow. Our service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a great place either for happy hour and bar snacks or for dinner for a group with varying tastes.

This place was good. Long day skiing and very hungry so we killed the nachos. I ordered the crab stuffed trout and it was very rich just like the server said. Good local fish. I ordered wine and it was yummy. Nice selection of good wines… Not the cheap stuff like other places. The guys in our party ordered beer and they were really happy with the selection and quality. We are leaving full and it didn’t break the wallet like other pricey steakhouses.

Terrible. 3 out of the 4(mature) employees who engaged us were extremely rude and the food was average. We are low-key, friendly and patient people, we called ahead knowing it would be busy even though it was a non-holiday Friday night. We arrived, checked in and were happy to wait, we expected it. We stood in the cold entryway and waited for a good 20 minutes, finally made our way inside and after ten minutes of standing there a host rudely came up and asked if we were the ones who called ahead, she proceeded to snatch the buzzer out of our hand and convey that she had been paging us for ages; she saw that the buzzer was broken didn’t apologize, instead maintained her rude demeanor, handed us over to another rude lady who ushered us to our table, put the menus down and walked off. As we sat there thawing out, bemused by the rudeness our waitress arrived and, lucky for Kenosha, she was great, friendly and engaging. Drinks were slow to arrive but that was fine. Entrees were very late, salad came out first and was limp, bisque arrived and when the lady(not our waitress) put it on the table we asked politely what the swirl on top of the bisque was, she pulled a very irritated face and mumbled(as she walked away without giving eye contact) something about chai infused… at least I think that’s what she said. We left extremely disappointed, have nothing positive to say and won’t be going back.

Very dissapointed. We came on our first night in town looking for a good beer and a rich meal. Ee got the first part fine, but the food, not so good. The beer was good and they do offer a great variaty of options for different tastes; but when ee got to the food, we were dissaponited by the quality. I mean, for a steakhouse in suchba nice town, I was expecting a little better quality on the dishes, but at the end, it was like eating at a cheap version of TGIF. On the other hand, the do serve a pretzel with sweet mustard that is really good.

Allow me to preface this review with the understanding that this experience is what has prompted me to create a Unilocal account and review my first restaurant ever. I’ll skip an anecdote about the less than welcoming hostesses and cold waitress and move directly to the food. Appetizer–«Ale and White Cheddar Dip — Breckenridge Brewery Agave Wheat and melted white cheddar served with three Bavarian Pretzels»: This«Cheddar Dip» was glorified microwaved Velveeta cheese covered with diced chives served with three of the most overwhelmingly salty pretzels you could possibly imagine. Person 1 entrée–«Beef Brisket» It’s described on the menu as «Well marbled, good texture» That description should have been a red flag. In short, this brisket tasted exactly what I imagine a steak would taste like. If you made it from the Glutes of Cecil the Lion. And overcooked it by three days. Person 2 entrée — «Big Bacon Steak Burger» Ten ounces of ground steak molded gently into a burger. Marinated in in bidet water and seasoned with the remnants of a dust pan at an oriental pedicure salon. Served with their house congealed mayonnaise and soggy bacon dipped in local dentist’s vat of patients spit.

I had a wonderful experience at Kenosha Steakhouse. Hey we had a slight bump in the road, but… As a business manager/owner I really appreciate the way they do business here. We ordered dinner and they apparently delivered our food to the wrong table. In addition, to an appetizer, I had two craft beers while we waited for our food. No big deal, so we waited just a few extra minutes. A simple error and misunderstanding. But it isn’t the way you fail that makes a business a success, it’s the way you recover. And, they went way beyond necessary to recover. They covered the entire tab. I haven’t even said that the food was outstanding, to boot. I had the steak loaf and green chili Mac n cheese. She had the mahi mahi sandwich. Everything was excellent, but most of all the people! People make a business and there’s people went way beyond the minimum to make our meal experience excellent. Well Done Kenosha Steakhouse, well done.

I’ve dropped into Kenosha the past two Sundays for a beer at the back bar. They have a good beer selection on tap and pints are only $ 4 during happy hour. Take advantage of the 3 for $ 5 sliders, skip the brisket and enjoy the pulled pork. I was a little disappointed in the HH food selections, thought there should be more. Haven’t tried the lobster yet but when I do I’ll update my review.

Continued quality food and service. We were in Breck for Oktoberfest, and happily they had room on their patio despite the crowds. We had a friendly and helpful server who had real, practical advice on the microbrew choices. Nachos continue to be super excellent — massive mound of chips, plenty of cheese, just the right amount of chili, fresh jalapeños. Friends had black bean burger with sweet potato fries and a chicken sandwich, which they both enjoyed. They also do happy hour from 3 – 6, I think, but we have always been in at lunchtime and not stayed long enough to try it out.

Great beer selection. Don’t get the nachos-way too much cheese! Great bartenders. Nice atmosphere. We enjoy stopping in for a beer.
