I must admit Rita’s was not our first voice when trying decide to grab a bite on a Sunday evening however I am certainly glad we came here! Vibe was really upbeat and welcoming. We got bar space which is just our style! They have a happy hour on tacos too so that was cool! I like that they had some good beers on draft, not just the regular overplayed beers. One of these included an almanac Belgian extra strong pale ale, as well as an Elevation sour! Score! I love trying new beers and this place delivered! The tacos were good. More American tacos rather than authentic but I was good with that. I got the fish tacos and the bean taco. Both were tasty, the chipotle aioli on the fish was good, and they had a pretty bomb Habanero salsa that was on point. All and all I like this little spot and would have no problem coming back here next time we are in Breck. Go in here not expecting authentic Mexican and you will not be disappointed!

Awesome! Visited during the off-​season while many other options were closed. It was great. Good beers (excellent tequila selection of that is your thing) and the tacos were very good, the best fish taco I have had in years. The staff great, super friendly and helpful. If you are in the neighborhood you should check them out. We will certainly be back in the future.

Tacos were delicious, margaritas are awesome, service was good and friendly. Definitely one of the top spots to eat in Breck.

Went there Monday the 11^th around 8pm. Group of 10 of us. We are extremely laid back and chose Rita’s over oscars. We all sat at the bar. Bartender gave us menus and my friend asked about the margaritas. the guy who was bartending responded with «look at the menu for more than 2 minutes and educate yourself» seriously !?! I have been bartending for years and was in shock by that response. You are in the service industry. This is your job!!! I was ready to walk out then, but we were all starving and didn’t want to find a new spot. Chips and queso app came out and all of our chips were crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Bartender never came back to check on us or ask how we were doing because he was too concerned with a couple of guys (assuming locals) that were sitting at the bar so I didn’t bother to ask for more chips. When the bartender gave us our check I noticed he put the wrong app on my check. So I kindly asked him to switch it. After receiving a dirty look he came back with the check and sarcastically said «here, I saved you a dollar». Again, total shock!!! I’ve never experienced such rude service ! Food was mediocre at best. Sucks we went there instead of Oscars !

Did not eat here, but everyone around us was raving over the food. The margaritas are amazing, and the craft beer selection even more unique and amazing. Pliney the Elder on tap!

Excellent fresh squeezed margaritas and the service was awesome. However both times I went it cause me stomach pain and the squirts. Recommend charmin ultra soft

Food was good, taco styles are interesting and introduce a nice variety of flavors. Margarita was excellent and the beer selection was outstanding, especially for a taco place, even for a beer bar it would have been great!
Service was very good, especially considering there was a crowd of people waiting to get in right when they opened.
Only complaint I would have is the taco tortillas were still fridge cold when served, so they tore easily and weren’t very flavorful nor pleasant to chew given they were still so cold.

C’mon with these negative reviews below. Rita’s is great.

Easy going bar with good food and great margaritas. Fresh squeezed juice in the drinks, and the food was reasonably priced and fresh. Staff were friendly and informative about our choices.
If you want hot salsa, go for the habanero one without the corn. It’s the only one we thought had any kick, and it was really good.
Everyone agreed it hit the spot. If you’re looking for margaritas and Mexican food in a relaxed environment this is the place.

Good food and really good price! Wednesday special was a build your own burrito and tap marg for $ 7. Can’t beat it. Will be back!

Great tacos, amazing HH! An enormous amount of tequila and the margs are all very good. I’ve eaten a lot of tacos and these are very good!

We absolutely loved Rita’s! The queso is amazing and the black bean burrito hit the spot on a cold night. Awesome margs too! Server was great. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Breck!

After being addressed by the «bra» that pushed our check on us three times, and then was unable to split up our check appropriately, I was told not to ever expect service again. My question is. what service? I had to ask the manager how to split up the check appropriately, and after him responding as if I were 12 and had never split up a check before, I knew I would never visit this place again. In addition, the sign out front read Happy Hour 3 – 6, but we were told when we entered that they «made their own rules» and there was no happy hour. I would have «Happily» spent $ 15 a Marg, had the service been better. But it was crap. There are defiantly better places in Breckenridge.

Let’s face it, I go here just for my endless summer margarita. They have bolted in the the bar hand citrus press contraptions, making fresh-​squeezed citrus a breeze. This marg has fresh orange, lime, some orange liqueur and tequila of choice. If you have one you feel good, 2 you feel damn good, 3 woah, 4 see ya tomorrow. The tacos are ok, not amazing. Corn tortillas are terrible and dry. My wife is gluten free and it was her only option and they were disappointing. Flour tortillas are a step up!

Complete @$$hole bartender around 7:30 Monday April 6^th, 2015. After having a couple marg’s and taco’s with some friends we asked for our check which came out to $ 73 rounding up with an additional $ 10 tip. I apologized as it is very slightly under the 15% that is considered customary as everyone in my group had just had to pay rent. By his demeanor he intentionally withheld giving back my friends credit card to hassle us. After we realized we did not have the card we went back in and inquired about it. His response was to give him 5 minutes. After ignoring us for the amount of time it took him to check on every table in the joint he walked up to the register and without looking procured the card and handed it to us with a jibe of «When you tip shitty you get shitty service huh?»
This review could have gone completely the other way if it weren’t for him.
