Ranks in top 2 places we have ever eaten in the world. Food is excellent especially the prime rib steak. The two ladies who own and work there are very friendly and make you feel at home. Would give it more stars if I could.

Loved loved loved this place! Exceptional food & wine list. My husband had the duck & I had the sea bass & it was the best we have ever had. We finished our meal with a cheese plate & it was amazing! This place has so much charm! We especially loved meeting the owner & her sister. The fact that they were authentically French made the experience feel like you we were in Paris for the evening!

First the positives. The owner and staff were all so nice and accomodating. We felt like family there. But, the food and value were mediocre at best. Our party of 4 adults and 2 kids paid nearly $ 600 for our meal and only two drank wine. I don’t mind paying for quality but again the food was only ok. French onion soup was not salty enough. My lamb chops which i ordered medium was too raw. I sent it back and when it came back, it had a funny sauce on it. Again, there was nothing wrong with the restaurant but nothing standout either. And I certainly won’t pay $ 100 per person for ok food.

Absolutely an amazing experience. My husband and I had dessert and French cappuccino. The food was out of this world, but even better than that was service. The restaurant is owned and run by a lovely French woman, who is also the head chef. The main waitress is the sister of the chef and is an absolute delight. What I loved most about this place is how the sisters and other staff try so hard to immerse you in genuine French culture. They speak French to you, they socialize and I even received a hug on the way out. The food is homemade and 100% authentic. It’s like you’re part of the family. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We went as a group of 12 guys. Every aspect of our dinner was FANTASTIC. Some of the favorite dishes of the night were the escargot, the pork chop, and the crème brûlée although everything was delicious(between 12 people we covered a lot of the menu). The staff was very friendly, helpful, and provided a perfect dinner service. One of the guests in my group is a vegetarian and Arielle, the owner, made sure to talk to him about his dietary restrictions and made him a special entrée which was not on the menu. This kind of care and attention really makes you feel like you are being treated like family and not like a stranger. Throughout the entire service, my group was raving about the quality and taste of the food. On another note, I noticed some of the reviews here complain about the timing. All of the food here is made from scratch(except maybe the ice cream, although I may be wrong about that). Diners, including myself, have become accustomed to restaurants bringing food out quickly because of all the prep-work that they do to speed up the process and turn over tables. This is not the case at Le Petit Paris, where they are interested in giving you the best dining experience rather than getting you in and out as quick as possible. If you are in a rush, this is not the place for you. If you want a very high quality French dining experience for ½ of what it would cost in a major US city, then you cannot miss this place. I am already looking forward to taking my wife here next time I am in town!

This is a really sweet little french restaurant with a great family feel. The food was good, though none of it was a bargain, but then again we’re talking about Breckenridge in the high season. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for a nice night out though.

Not good for who is not local repeater. I had read some bad reviews before the visit. It was true. Took more than 3 hours for the dinner, 2.5 hours by main, though the local repeater at the next table had main in 1 hour. At the last, they included 20%gratitude in the check without notice. So disappointed!

Love this place and everything about it! Ariel and her family are just amazing hosts. We have had nearly everything on the menu and it is all good. We have been coming every Christmas for several years in a row. Bön appetite!

High expectations might have destroyed my experience, but the prices and food quality doesn’t match each other. Our server was great and there’s nothing else he coukd have done on his side to make the meal better, but, when I pay $ 50 for a steak and fries, medium done, I expect it to be serve neat and as requested… But it wasn’t, it was medium rare and cold, lacking of sauce(I asked for more on the side and the said they ran out of it) and also, it took about 40 minutes to get there. We made the mistake of asking for dessert… It took another 40 minutes. A great part was a 4 christmas carols singer band who spent the whole meal singing… But the lady owner of the restaurant, threatened us by saying that if we didn’t clap at the end of this song, we wouldnt be eating anything. The oniom soup and scargots where good but not enough to make a great experice.

My son recommended the restaurant so we were excited to take two other couples to this restaurant. We arrived on time for the reservation 7:30 pm and sadly our food was only served at 9 pm. Some of the plates of food were cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The staff were extremely friendly, however the. service could have been better. For the service and quality of food the menu prices were over priced

We went here for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a delightful time and everything was just wonderful. The staff makes you feel like family. They tolerated our bad French with grace. The ambiance is romantic, the food just fabulous, but the staff was what made it so special. I highly recommend for your special occasion dining or just for a fabulous taste of France. We were thrilled to have spent our anniversary here. We had the cheese and charcuterie to start. Yum! My spouse had the pork tenderloin with mustard sauce. I had the special: mussels and french fries. So delicious! Truly enjoyed it. Don’t hesitate to dine here!

Found this place while looking at houses in the area. The food was fabulous, authentic and priced exactly as it deserves. The service was utterly impeccable and we loved meeting the owner! She was super friendly and made us feel very at home! We’ve since purchased our home and I think this will be our go-to date night spot!

I don’t know where to start:( That day was so special for us it was our wedding anniversary and after great day fishing and spending time with my husband on a lake and in town of Breckinridge, I looked at the good reviews on Unilocal for a good restaurant and saw this restaurant with great reviews. We thought you would try it based on the reviews. So what I want to say is this restaurant is not for«simple» working people! It’s way overpriced. Out tap was about 170 $ for two of us for one appetizer and 2 main courses and plus 2 glass of wine. Second some people Love over attention but the owners were tooooo much welcome so there are 6 people work there every single of them just keep coming and asking how is everything! So how was everything? We waited on our main dishes for over an hour!!! If you have that time to spend and money to spend over 170 $ for just two people for dinner than yeah go for it.

The food at this beautiful restaurant is on par with the best steak houses and bistros in the United States! And what’s even more amazing is the owner and the staff. The experience we had was truly unforgettable !!! I proposed to my future wife at Le Petit Paris and everyone around us made this experience truly once in a life time !!! Thank you !!!

Where to begin? We were greeted warmly by the owner and immediately realized this wasn’t your ordinary restaurant. We were family… and in Paris. Seating was cozy, but the incredibly friendly service made it feel so natural. The restaurant is run by a family from France; literally, everyone who serves is related! We only ordered the French Onion Soup(we were slightly caught off guard by the entrée prices, but would love to come back and splurge someday as the food looked AMAZING). The French Onion Soup was some of the best I’ve ever had! They were understanding when we let them know we’d only be staying for appetizers and a drink(high quality imported beer), stating«do what you want… You’re in Paris!» But to top it off, Mary Jo, our waitress and pastry chef asked us if we’d prefer fruit or chocolate. She then reset our table and brought out a delicious fruit dessert(similar to crème brûlée), explaining that she loves dessert and couldn’t bear to see us finish a meal without it. Wonderful! We were BLOWNAWAY and will recommend Le Petit Paris for as long as it’s in business.

Authentic French cuisine is putting it mildly! Staff & owner are from France and they have a love of sharing incredible meals fit for real foodies. Many other diners were French too which is the best measure of authenticity here, right down to beverages, ambiance and quality. 5 Stars !!

Let me start by saying I usually qualify my 5 star reviews, e.i. «This is a 4 star restaurant but for being in an airport it’s a 5» etc. this is not one of those reviews. La Petit Paris is a 5 star restaurant no matter where in the world you put it or how you slice it. The owners(two Parisian sisters from what I’m told) are always roaming the floor checking on your experience, helping you pick wine, or in my case teaching you the finer points of calvados and cognac. I admitted, while my knowledge of French food is pretty good, I had never had cognac before. I was immediately launched into a masters course in French brandies complete with tastes of the different options they carried. I was even taught how to properly serve a snifter of the holy liquid, «if you ever go elsewhere and they serve you brandy in an un-warmed glass you send it back and wave them away, tell them to call me and I will teach them how it is done.» We started with the cheese and charcuterie board and the escargot. The escargot, quite possibly, may be the best I’ve ever had. I then had the rabbit cassoulet which was amazing. I almost forgot to mention they paired my wine for me, a Sauvignon Blanc that complemented both the escargot and the rabbit beautifully. We finished with the profiteroles, which may sound simplistic, but OMFG theirs are perfect. It’s like an adult ice cream sandwich and their chocolate sauce is to die for. I have never met any business owners who care as much about their business and customers as the two women who own and operate La Petit Paris. There are those rare institutions you find where there is an element of magic to the experience. It could be on the personal level where the staff is fantastic and enhances your experience throughout the whole meal. It could be in the ambience where the surroundings are as integral to the meal as the food. Or it could be the food itself(duh!) which for some reason or another blows your mind. Then there is the even rarer instance where you find a place where the Venn diagram intersect for all three. La Petit Paris is that place, I have no hesitation in recommending this place for anyone.

Can I start by saying magnifique?! This adorable little french restaurant has stolen my heart and is easily the best one I have ever been to. The atmosphere: warm, welcoming and wonderful! There is nothing more comforting than coming into a lovely, cozy eatery when you have been outside in the freezing cold. My parents and I were welcomed immediately and they offered to take our coats. Now, I have seen some people commenting negatively on La Petite Paris’ décor. Don’t be a hater! If you are looking for something edgy and modern, this isn’t the place for you. I like it because its comforting, almost like going to my grandmother’s house. French dining is traditionally spent in very close quarters. Anyways, on to the food and wine. We started with a red the owner recommended us which was delightful and paired it with a cheese board. It was filled with an assortment of french cheeses, fresh apple slices and honey. The brie was heaven. Then came the main course. My dad ordered the special, Chilean Sea Bass with butternut squash, veg, and a beautiful sauce. My mom and I ordered the Ruby Red Trout with mushroom risotto and pistachios. This was all paired with a delicious white wine that was also recommended by her. It was all cooked to perfection and absolutely divine. I highly recommend ordering fish here, it is incredible! We hardly had room for dessert. But the owner insisted we have dessert and it isn’t too difficult to get me to say yes to chocolate. My dad ordered crème brûlée with fresh berries, my mom ordered chocolate cake and I ordered the profiteroles. Everything was once again delicious, all paired with a little cup of espresso to wash it down. My profiteroles were stuffed with homemade ice cream and topped with luscious chocolate ganache. My parents enjoyed theirs very much as well. Here’s a secret: One of the owner’s makes all the desserts from scratch, including the delicious chocolate ganache! The customer service was wonderful, I felt very welcomed and taken care of. They check to make sure everything is perfect and try to get to know you. The coat check and the no cell phone policy is a huge bonus. There is nothing worse than someone answering a phone call loudly in the middle of a romantic dinner. We had such a wonderful evening and I will definitely be back next time I’m in Breckenridge.

If you’re like me, then you dine to be transported elsewhere, to another world, not to have another American dining experience under a different label like«French.» I lived for two years in Paris and can verify that this is authentic. It’s not just the food that transports you there, it’s the whole package. The boeuf bourguignon and a glass of Cuvée Margot take you to a rich countryside. The proximity of the seating places you to a Parisian café. The service is attentive and misses no detail like a fine dinning experience on the Left Bank in Paris. In short, if you want to travel to France at the table and experience for an hour or more la belle vie, then go to Le Petit Paris. If, however, you only want to fill your stomach with food in an American restaurant with an ethnic tag then there’s always pizza.
