The burger tastes great, the fries and onion rings are delicious, but unless you have won the Lottery and I mean the big one this is not the place for you! I came here for something different but was disappointed with the price for the value. The claim to fame for this place is the no hormones or antibiotics in the meat but that is the only thing that sets them apart from say a burger joint like five guys. The burgers are tiny. I’m talking less that 2.5 inches across and very thin. The fries are the same price as five guys and you get a third of the amount. I ordered the cry-fry for $ 5.47 and got as you can see in my photo only three onion rings. I guess that why they call it a cry-fry. LOL Sad to say I will not frequent this restaurant again even if I hit the lottery. I work hard for my money and can find better burger joint to spend it in. I rarely write such a harsh review but the price you pay for what you get is cra-cra even for Brentwood.

Burger Fi Brentwood, you’re doing a lot of right in the burger world! I’ve been a fan of Burger Fi since I had it beachside in Ft. Lauderdale, FL so when we found out it was coming to Brentwood, 5 minutes from our house we were beyond excited. I’m a huge fan of their veggie burger BUT I was craving a real cheeseburger upon arrival, so I went with it. After reading all the negative reviews I was shocked! We had a great time. Shout out to Janelle who took our order and was super friendly. Critics, I get that you may see Burger Fi as a glorified Five Guys, which some will stand strong about that feeling. I will only pick out the bigger differences that I know: –quality of meat(most important to me, I want to know where my meat is coming from) –burgers are a giant grease ball thrown on a bun — two words: frozen custard –veggie burger –lettuce bun option –beer and wine selection Locally here in Brentwood we don’t have a place like this, I am happy and proud of Burger Fi! Now if you want to drive all the way to East Nashville and have a burger at Pharmacy, you WILLNOT be disappointed but for a burger joint in Brentwood, y’all are doing everything right!

So… sigh…this will be short and sweet. BurgerFi is a new«gourmet» burger chain. We visited this restaurant for the first time in Alpharetta, GA… it was delicious!!! So when we came back home and discovered we had one here as well I was ecstatic! The one located here doesn’t have the same vibe, the food isn’t NEARLY as good. On our first visit to our local location, we chalked the just OK food up to it being a busy time of day. The staff was still friendly and helpful. Though, tonight after our second visit, we’ve decided not to return. Not sure what the difference is between the two locations, but its just not the same. Guess we’ll just stick with Crossroads Bar and Flip Burger.

I’ll echo what’s already been touched upon in several of the other reviews, which is that this place is severely overpriced for the product. Don’t misunderstand me: it’s not terrible, but when it costs more than the best burgers in town(pharmacy, gabbys, tavern, take your pick) and comes in at half the size, there is a real problem. Additionally, the service is quite poor. I tried to have a beer with my burger, but two taps were empty, and when I finally settled with my third choice, the server A) misdescribed the beer to me(wanted an ale, got something closer to an IPA) and B) forgot to bring it for quite some time. Finally, the atmosphere is bright and loud, akin to fast food, which, at the very least, is not what I have in mind when paying $ 30 for 2 cheeseburgers. All said, trust me, do yourself a favor and go around the corner to Murph’s. The food is twice as good at half the price; the atmosphere is better, and you’re supporting a local business.

I’ve been here a few times now. The staff is still learning about the beer but is VERY friendly and the food is consistently good. The beer is cold and fresh. The conflicted burger is actually really good. Garlic aioli is a great compliment to the burgers and fries. Dessert is in large portions for kids but still a little overpriced.

The majority of people fit into three categories: 1) Culinary Connoisseurs (those who live to eat the best food on earth and can taste the difference) 2) Phony Foodies (those who enjoy eating but do not have discriminating palates, often thinking that good food is great food and vice versa) 3) Dispassionate Diners (those who simply eat to stay alive, sadly my wife and son) I cringe every time someone in category 2(a phony foodie) tries to convince me that Five Guys makes the best burger when their only other experience involves burgers at McDonald’s, Burger King, and random concession stands. In the city of Nashville, category 2’s manifest themselves by touting fried chicken at Cracker Barrel when they’ve never set foot inside Big Shake’s, or gush over the pizzas at Mellow Mushroom when they’ve never visited Joey’s House, or brag about Bar-B-Cutie when they’ve never heard of Martin’s. Oh my taste bud-challenged friends, there is a difference between good food and great food and it’s not your fault that you can’t tell the difference. BurgerFi, the newest joint in Brentwood, offers one of the best burgers in the Nashville Metro and puts Five Guys to shame! For a quarter pound of meat, you’ll pay about $ 11 at BurgerFi rather than roughly $ 5.50 at Five Guys, so the price is double. But the meat I had at BurgerFi was also double the flavor of Five Guys, thus worth my money; juicy, flavorful, and obviously of high quality. If you strip away all the impressive toppings at Five Guys and just sample the burger itself, it’s no better than any other mediocre fast food joint. I’ve tried, on four occasions, to catch the Five Guys fever only to be disappointed every time. BurgerFi captured my attention from the first bite with exceptionally fresh ingredients, tantalizing presentation, and most importantly high quality beef!!! I don’t usually have time for an hour-long wait for The Pharmacy, hands down Nashville’s best burger. So BurgerFi can give me that high-quality fix for a little more money, a lot less wait, and a much safer neighborhood after dark. With a better product and better hours than Gabby’s, way more flavor than Rotier’s, a far superior product than Five Guys, and a trendy and hip interior, I don’t mind spending a little more money at BurgerFi. Nashvillians, wake up!!! BurgerFi is earning 4-star ratings on Unilocal at their other American locations! This place is for real! Solid fries and amazing desserts too! Why not 5 stars? The bacon on my burger was not good and the salt and vinegar fries were just fries and malt vinegar sauce. BurgerFi needs to steal the Buffalo Wild Wings method of smothering their fries in a salt and vinegar flavor. Now that’s something everyone should have! TIP: Hey Chris M., obviously not a connoisseur. NEVER order ANY dish in ANY restaurant that contains American cheese. Kraft singles or otherwise, American cheese is not real!!! It’s fake!!! No culinary connoisseur would EVER eat American cheese!!!

A place that serves craft beer and good burgers in Brentwood, Awesome!!! Unfortunately, they failed to deliver. I like the small size of the burgers and the options you can put on them, however, they are way overpriced and the ground beef is flavorless. Fatal flaws for a casual burger joint. Not sure how long they will last with pressure from less expensive burger places opening around town. Maybe will try again sometime. I might have gone on a off night for them.

I really, really wanted to enjoy this joint. Close to work, awesome patio, quick burger and a tasty beer. In fact, I more and more wanted to give BurgerFi 2 stars because they had decent beers and the meat itself was really quite good. But alas, this review can be summed up by simply saying, the cheese they use is Kraft singles. Vom. In no world can you charge someone $ 8 for a burger and use Kraft singles. Let’s start with the good, because a blind squirrel finds a few nuts. The meat itself — fantastic! And a good beer selection of dark stouts, brown ales, and IPAs. And the food came quickly. OK, that’s about it. The bad — for simplicity, I’ll just take you start to finish of the experience. The cashiers, who are serving draft beer, have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. I asked what their«Black Abbey» on tap was, and the cashier said«It’s Black Abbey, that’s our only tap». Okay, benefit of the doubt, you don’t know Black Abbey is a local brewery and not a beer itself. Fine. Me: «Can you please ask someone?» Next cashier: «It’s on the lighter side of a dark beer.» It was the Rose(for those who don’t know, that’s a Pale Ale). As it were, I then simply asked for a Left Hand Milk Stout, bottled, laid out in front of the register. Cashier: «Huh?» Me:(holding up the bottle) «This, I’ll just take this.» Cashier: «OK.» Wow. Just, wow. But ok, you’re not a bartender, but you should know the products you’re selling. Now the fun part, the burger! I went with the Breakfast Burger and my wife the classic Cheeseburger. Hers came with Kraft singles cheese… ’nuff said. Mine came with a soggy hash brown, bacon presumably cooked yesterday, a fried egg served«eggs over uncooked», and their house specialty sauce(Burgerfi sauce) that I could not taste(I couldn’t taste the maple syrup allegedly on the burger either, so maybe one was acidic and one basic and they cancelled each other out). Unlike other reviewers, I was not disappointed by the size the burger. I enjoyed the smaller portion and thought the meat quality was very good. However, like another Unilocaler put it brilliantly, «They pass off sliders for craft burgers and charge you for a filet mignon.» The spent time branding my bun but not toasting it – not even heating it. In truth, the bun was soggy and cold. Have I mentioned the cheese was a Kraft single? No, just no. Given the Brentwood neighborhood, I thought the price point was fine — $ 30 for two burgers, two beers, and small fry. Fries were mediocre, just meh. At the end of the day, I will not be back and I would no recommend to a friend. If you want a good burger check out Gabby’s or Pharmacy.

They’re passing off sliders for craft burgers and charging you for a steak. I like the fast casual style and the décor is awesome. Good atmosphere. The fries were perhaps the best I’ve ever tasted, but unfortunately, I will be late on my mortgage after choosing them. After a burger, fries, drink, my receipt which you can find in pics came up over $ 18. If I’m gonna drop that coin for lunch, I’d prefer a restaurant or driving over to Burger Republic. Apparently the added cost goes to pay for the name to be hot branded on to the tops of every bun.

This place is the biggest joke on the planet. I paid 12 dollars for their 20-year old aged beef burger. It was the size of chipmunk. I do not understand how the portions are so small, yet the price is so expensive. In addition, my burger was dry. The fries were mediocre. Everything about this place reeked low quality, despite promoting non-antibiotic/hormone based meat. I appreciate their attention to customers wanting beef that is well sourced, however, they have neglected all other aspects of what makes a good burger. I.e. decent serving portions, fresh meat, quality ingredients, taste. How difficult is it to make a good burger? Tip: Save yourself the trouble. Go further down and you’ll find a Five Guys.

Burger and fries were tasty. Décor is appealing. Price was, as others have stated, a little evangelistic. I hate being nickel and dimmed on things like mushrooms. It’s already a $ 7 burger($ 13 with fries and drink). I’d think about the price point at every level. To sum it up: Good product, a bit too proud.

The burger is very average. I appreciate that it’s antibiotic and horomone free beef, but it is also relatively flavor free. –The burger patties were mush. I like a little texture on my burger –The flavor combination was ho-hum. The Burgerfi sauce is nothing to write home about –The buns… so you take the time to put a silly brand on my burger bun, but can’t be bothered to toast it? Absolutely no texture here either. –I asked for pickles on my burger and I was given two burgers on a tray. I had to dissect both burgers to prove to a cashier that pickles were not included and that I’d like pickles. This whole process took 5 minutes longer than it needed to be. The fries and onion rings were decent but as alluded to in other reviews, the price is outrageous. Two cheeseburgers, one cry+fry and a drink came out to $ 26 with tax. And me and my friend both left a little hungry. I think I’ll pass on this place in the future.

I’ve given this place a couple tries just to get a real feel for it. The first time we tried this place we came with friends who ordered the Veggie burger, they asked for no cheese, it came out with cheese. They told the manager that it was the 3rd time they had been in there and had specifically asked for no cheese all 3 times and had gotten cheese on their burger all 3 times. The manager gave them some coupons for next time and then brought custard to the table for dessert. Bold move, considering they ordered a veggie burger with no cheese, he should have put it together that they are vegan. Luckily for my husband and me, we aren’t vegan and happily ate the key lime custard which was pretty good. As for the burgers, they are just okay, nothing really spectacular. There are so many other good burger joints around the area that I wouldn’t go out of my way to get to this one. Just within one mile of this location you can hit up a handful of other places that offer similar things, similar quality. The prices are a bit high for what you get and the service is spotty and slow. I don’t know that I will give it any other chances unless someone I’m with really wants to go.

Wow burgers much smaller than what was expected. They are grass fed but grain finished btw. Parm & garlic aioli fries were good! Onion rings are huge but they’re not Red Robin onion rings(you know what I’m talking about if you’ve been there)… Place was fairly busy and cashier punched my order in right but it still came out wrong. They have gps in their pagers that you place on the table so they can locate you. This seems to not work. The staff asked multiple people if what they had was theirs… Got a red velvet cake shake. That idea was better than what it was. It was very… Fuzzy… Obviously from the cake specs in it. All in all the place Looks appealing but it wasn’t. Very nauseous afterwards maybe the heavy whipping cream for the shakes. Husband got sick in the bathroom before we left. Not gonna try it out again. About a $ 40 meal for 2.

Very expesive burger joint. Burgers, like many others noted, are very small and little taste. Drink cups and fries also very small. Service was good, staff was nice and the place was clean. They do have the coke machines for refills. I wont be going back, you can get a better bigger burger and fries at several other places nearby for a lot less money.

Midwesterners! Get your custard here — on point! I had the chocolate and it was smooth and fantastic. Super trendy, which is actually a downer in my book, but the menu was simple, the food was delicious and they even brand their name of the restaurant onto the hamburger bun! I got a burger fi cheeseburger with parmesan herb fries and onion rings. Service is average, place was very crowded on a Sunday for lunch, but overall a great experience.

First visit at lunch today. While they have a few«standards» you can easily build any burger you like from a wide array of traditional and not quite so traditional toppings. I started with a close to the vest play, burgerfi cheeseburger(which is a double) but switched out the american cheese in favor of white cheddar. As many have noted, the burger is not large. Hardly a «slider» but not large. In appearance, but alas in no other way, the burger reminded me of Shake Shack. It comes with burgerfi sauce, but its presence was not betrayed in flavor or appearance, so I have no idea what it tastes like assuming it even exists. I don’t think it was code for«extra grease» as the burger was not greasy. not overly dry, but not greasy.(what burgerfi sauce is definitely not: In N Out burger special sauce) Actually, the most dominant flavor in this burger was… lettuce. In crispy/crunchy dark green veiny leaves it was distracting to the point that I pulled off what was left halfway into the sandwich. What remained was a perfectly decent, if not exceptionally flavorful burger, obviously made from quality meat, apparently unseasoned, and served on a magnificently soft, absorbent bun. I don’t know for fries. Others in my party shared an order of chili cheese fries… and that chili would be the bomb on a burger… or a dog. I’ll be back to try the dog based on tasting the chili alone. Onion rings where huge(as others have noted, side orders a bigger than sandwiches) and had nice taste and texture, so… ok then. The«concept» is good — they’ve clearly tried to differentiate themselves on atmosphere, branding and technology(go when it’s crowded and you’ll see what I mean) and I think with good results. You’ll never mistake this place for a Five Guys(plain, ugly, boring, «.order for BOB…» Also, that nasty Five Guys cheese sauce, no other options. please.). Music was not too loud, and much better selection than typical joints like this. Some thought has gone into the concept to good effect. Come to think of it, this is pricey, but it’s really not much more expensive than Five Guys to strain that comparison a bit more. So… this is interesting, will re-try, customize, and hold the lettuce.

The burger patties are so small that I actually got up and walked to the counter to show them that there wasn’t a patty on my Breakfast All Day burger. It was there, just smaller than the egg and hash brown and not visible without taking the thing apart. Fortunately, I discovered this while being ignored while standing at the counter. Good news for both me and the restaurant. I didn’t vindicate my wife, who seems to think that I don’t spend enough time looking for something before asking for help, and they weren’t put into the awkward position of explaining how that li’l patty made up for its lack of size with freshness and magic organic powers. I also had fries with herb parmesan topping, which incidentally costs an extra dollar. It was too much, just made the fries dry and unpleasant to eat. Overall, the burger did taste very good, just not $ 16.00 good. I had a burger, fries and soft drink, which is $ 2.50 and the size of a solo cup and, yes, my meal was $ 16.00. It’s not like I haven’t spent that much on lunch before, I just expect more when I do. I really was hoping to have a better experience as I eat lunch in Brentwood every day. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in and generally felt like the staff was indifferent to me being there. It should have been clear that I felt like I had a problem with my order and no one at the counter spoke to me. It was their second day, so there is likely some room for improvement. It’s probably worth a try, just be better aware of what you are ordering and you may can sneak into the $ 10ish range.

Well, the burger was OK — not great but not bad either. I really liked the fries. But, the burgers are very small. I’m talking«Dollar Menu» tiny. It was like a jumbo Krystal’s slider but for 5x the price. About the same size as a Chick-Fil-A breakfast biscuit. Attached is a photo of my burger and cry and fry(onion rings and fry mix). A single onion ring should never be larger than the actual burger. I filled myself up on fries and onions rings instead of burger. This really pissed me off the most though… I don’t drink sodas when I eat so I asked for a cup of water. I was handed a 0.2 liter dixie cup. It was like the kind of cup you’d use to wash out your mouth after brushing your teeth. I am pretty certain this is an intentional, sleazy tactic to shame you for opting for water instead of their(still quite small) ~$ 2.50 soda. I give the quality of the food 3 stars, the size of the burger 1.25 stars, and the size of my water cup a –5 stars. It was offensive. It was the most chintzy thing I’ve ever experienced dining out. I’m not sure I’ll ever return just because of how badly that water cup pissed me off…

Tried this new burger place today, and was overall impressed. Great atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. Food was great and came out in timely manner. The burgers were reasonably priced however the sides are a bit pricey. They are big portion sizes so next time I know to split a side. Would definitely recommend this place to others!
