Doug was awesome. Our wedding music and dance floor were popping all night.
Doug helped us prepare all the music including sampling as well as guiding us through his workbooks. For each option he identified what possibly could happen for each event choice and he is very experienced. Its best when you know ehat you want because then Doug can help make it happen.
One event option Doug gave us was a prize game that for the whole wedding involved. Each table had multiple representatives coming up to participate and everyone was laughing and cheering.
Another great idea was getting the dance floor packed at the start with a good luck dance. Now, Doug had explained how horribly wrong this could go, but we knew our guests and thats the sort of thing you should know to decide if it is right or wrong and will fit in your wedding or not.
Doug took very good care of us and was very professional. His photobooth was also a big hit. Having people take pictures and providing all of them to us so we could go through absolutely filled our heart’s content.
We opted for requests and there wasn’t a single thing we could complain about because if we didnt want to hear something Doug would transition to the next song.
We would highly recommend Daley entertainment for anyone’s wedding or party. Doug was an epic dj and made our wedding a blast!

I thought Doug did an amazing job! Planning beforehand, he helped me pick out some songs that I had a hard time figuring out. I told him what kind of music we like, he suggested a few songs, and he mentioned the perfect one! During the event, he picked some great songs and really got the crowd going. Everyone said they had a great time and many said it was one of the best weddings that had been to. When we were planning a month before, I wanted to play a game at the wedding and he told me about his treasure hunt game that he plays. Basically, he asks for something from each table, starting with some simple things like «a pain reliever» and leading up to some pretty ridiculous stuff like, «a man wearing women’s shoes». Everyone, young kids, older folks, people from all different walks of life were having so much fun with this game. Also, I highly recommend the photo booth. Everyone had a lot of fun with that, too and there were so many props to choose from! Thanks again, Doug, for an amazing day!

I have mixed feelings about our experience with Doug with Daley Entertainment Agency. Our wedding was with Wedgewood Weddings in Brentwood and Doug was the DJ they use and recommend. I was very pleased with the music worksheets that were provided for us to fill out. They were perfect and down to every detail, which is perfect for someone with OCD like me.
When we met with Doug, I felt like he was rushing through the worksheet, I noticed there were quite a few songs he missed when we were going through our worksheet. One tip I have is to definitely make sure you listen to ALL of the important songs with him before the wedding to make sure it’s the right song, right version, right timing.
At our meeting, he suggested a game that he’s done at weddings, that was definitely a good decision when we decided to play the group game during our reception. He did a fantastic job with that and everyone had a great time.
Just some of the things that could’ve been better would be that we were all eating dinner at the reception and all of the sudden the roof was screaming and it’s because the DJ had a «live version» of a song playing. It sounded TERRIBLE and the guests were all looking at me confused at what that horrible noise was. It was so embarrassing and the DJ was no where to be found. He had left the room. It seemed like he hasn’t listened to the songs before he made the playlist for our night. That was upsetting.
And that wasn’t the only time that happened. For my groom’s mother and son dance, it was also a live version and was AWFUL! Another embarrassing thing because everyone kept coming up to me and going «What the heck song is this, it’s terrible.» His version ruined what would’ve been a great song. Which ruined that moment and I felt so bad for my groom and mother in law.
Also, at our initial meeting, we stressed how important the timing was for our father daughter dance to cut the music at a certain time. On the day of the wedding, it was completely messed up and EVERYONE said they noticed.
The morning of the wedding he came into my bridal suite asking which song I wanted to walk down the isle to. It was the completely wrong version, which was actually the version I told him I didn’t want at our meeting. That’s definitely not what a bride wants to stress about right before going down the isle.
So my tip to everyone is when you sit down and go over the music, really make sure you have his attention because music is SO important on the wedding day. It can make or break the wonderful moments.
Other than that, Doug Daley was great. Our wedding was a lot of fun.
