We love this place! We are new to the area and to be honest we didn’t come in sooner cause it doesn’t come off appealing from the outside and on the inside it doesn’t get much better. Some of the booths are duct taped back together and overall it looks like it desperately needs some renovations. however, the staff is fantastic. Stacey is friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive without being overbearing. The spring rolls are awesome! The sushi was good as well. Can’t wait til next time, we want to try the fried ice cream! But this will probably be s regular spot for my roommates and I.

Don’t try using the coupon. I did the check in and unlocked the offer, presented it to the waitress and she told me the coupon expired. She redeemed it anyway but I think only because I pressed the issue. Ok so about the food: 1. Miso soup was the worst I ever had. like water. 2. They do not have the right asian spoons for the soup. it was a regular spoon, which felt about as weird as eating sushi with a fork. 3. The chopsticks were unusually long and heavy which made them difficult to use. 4. My husband said the orange chicken was some of the best he’s ever had. 5. The sashimi was pretty tiny for the price. It should be 3 pieces instead of 2 when they are that small. 6. The place is clean, ambiance is nice, and they have decent music playing, not too loud.

The size of this place is deceiving! It’s huge inside! Their is a cute ambience, a great array of food choices from Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. I’m a fan of their Sushi Menu, and I’m also a fan of the fact that it’s next to a Cold Stone and a Target! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking for a dinner with friends, or just a little date night. :)

I had such a bad experience at this location that I will not ever go back. Food definitely had msg. My husband and sister got their meals ½ way finished before I even got mine. Two minutes later the waitresses ask me if I was done…“ummm no I just got the darn meal!” Then when I was finished I asked for a box and the waitress laughed and told me «you don’t need NO box!». Like I said before, won’t ever return.

I had the Sesame Chicken on their lunch special. It seemed like the chicken had been sitting under a warmer. It was tough am hard to cut with a knife. The rice seemed more fresh. I also ha a Boston Roll that was good. My advice is skip the lunch specials as they are probably not cooked to order.

Chicken has been cooked sometime prior then reheated, being set forth to swim in an endless sea of sauce… I wouldn’t recommend this for the sober or persons of sound mind.

I usually frequent restaurants and take lots of pictures of delicious dishes. I hardly ever write reviews unless I am an extraordinarily incredible experience or an incredibly terrible experience— this leans more toward the later. Disclaimer: 2 stars for the staff that took my order. If I could give her 5 stars I would… but someone might think I’m rating the restaurant with a 5– absolutely not! She’s was very nice and polite, hence the 2 stars. I’ve always been reluctant to eat here and today’s experience reaffirmed all that I assumed. Well, I wanted to order a side of chicken fried rice but since I’m craving it I didn’t want a bad experience so I just started with a side of fried rice. Great decision to order the side of fried rice($ 2.19) so that I could taste the rice before spending($ 8+) for chicken fried rice. The fried rice was a major disappointment. Apparently they keep a container of rice and scoop it out as its ordered… vs the cook as you order experience that I am familiar with. The only thing I saw was brown rice and specks of yellow which I assume was egg. No other vegetables just rice and egg specks. Needless to say, I drove to Brentwood and ordered chicken fried rice from Hanabi Japanese restaurant. They told me there’d be about a 20 minute wait(actual wait time was about 15 mins) …which in my opinion is a great first sign… could they be actually preparing a dish just for me with veggies added to the mix? I sure do hope so! I can’t drive to a third location. I’m hungry! My tastebuds miss California. :(

I just left the Fulins in Brentwood. AWFUL!!! WEAKDRINKS, BADFOODANDSLOWSERVICE! What happened? ??? They use to have good drinks and great food! They have apparently opened to many restaurants and dropped their standards; lost their focus. Lol I will never ever return. Now i understand why the place was empty when i walked in. I didnt even get what i ordered! To top it all off, the fortune cookies were STALE!!!

Very friendly staff and excellent service. However, the food is on the expensive side for what it is.

I’m giving their hot and sour soup 5 stars. My favorite place to eat while staying in Brentwood, TN. Nice people too.

FINALLY found the best Chinese food in Nashville, we moved here about 8 months ago and have tried 40 different restaurants and could not believe it was so horrible here until we found Fulins… while not NYC or South Florida it is as good as it gets for N’villle. The Japanese and Sushi also looked good but we did not try it… yet

RESERVATIONS: thankfully not necessary on a saturday night at 630pm :) PARKINGLOT: definitely a little crazy to navigate! SEATING: this restaurant is spacious, we took a large booth in the back corner to meet up with family in town that we havent seen in a long time! it was wonderful! not too loud, not painfully awkwardly silent, just perfect. DRINKS: unfortunately didnt partake in any alcoholic beverages, but my soda water was great & our server always had them refilled — spectacular timing! APPETIZERS: the other couple we were with got what looked like pot stickers, said they were good. my husband & i each got a spring roll(fried btw). he said his was super greasy, mine with combo of soy sauce was delightful! MEALS: the waiter recommended to our cousin the phoenix roll, and both he & his wife said it was really good! my husband got kung pow? extra spicy, he said it was good but not spicy enough… i asked for pad thai no meat, only vegetables and it was awesome!!! pretty large dinner portions as well, so come hungry. if youre a dude & you come hungry you can take it down on your own :) FORTUNECOOKIES — not as good as the ones i have had other places before… MINTS — def grab those on your way out tho, YUM! OVERALL — RECOMMEND!

Wouldn’t even give them 1 star! Calamari was AWFUL over cooked and not even edible it was so hard it cut my mouth! Sushi is the equivalent of what you get at the grocery store-not bad but not worth the price paid. Salad? How do you mess that up?! By not giving us the ginger dressing! THEONLYDRESSINGYOUSERVE! On top of forgetting our dressing, we order two spring rolls which they forgot as well!

Food was very average, just bland tasting mostly. We got the hot and sour soup which was not good. The edamame was fine — guess you can’t screw that up. For entrees we got the mongolian beef and shrimp lo mein. Both were just ok. So overall I’d give it a 3 star review if not for this last point… I picked up food and the bartender«Lance» added in an additional $ 7 tip for himself. I’ve disputed this with my credit card company and they have already reimbursed me but needless to say this was a pain for me and made me quite upset. I will never go back here again.

I love Fulin’s. The service is fantastic. We’ve had the BEST waiter the past 7 years of going to this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and ask for Iris. She’s so incredibly sweet and always has a smile on her face. She’s a wonderful server. The sushi is the only thing I ever get here. My husband will get the orange chicken from time to time which he loves but we both really enjoy the sushi. The joy roll and the Honada roll are my go to’s. It’s pricey to me, but to the average sushi go-er it probably isn’t. Also, they just opened up a location in Franklin in the Target, Kroger shopping center off Columbia. Woot!

Egg Roll — Bland. No flavor except fried wonton. Egg Flower Soup — Very good. Crab Rangoons — Very Good. Sweet & Sauce was warm, big plus. Tuna Love Roll — Mushy Spicy Tuna that was not spicy. White Tuna inside was mushy as well. Overall, just not good, especially for a $ 13 specialty roll. Mongolian Beef — Overly sweet & just blah. This was the biggest letdown based on the other reviews. Customer Service — Nice people but attentiveness is lacking. And, to use a Unilocal check-in, the server had to take your phone to the manager. This just a bad idea, period. Overall — If you want«just ok» Chinese, go here. If you want good to great Chinese, I would recommend somewhere else.

Ordered curry chicken and egg flower soup. I was expecting it to be below par based on the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the curry and especially the egg flower soup(you’d be surprised how many restaurants get this wrong). Was I blown away based on other chinese food I’ve had in my life — absolutely not. But, will this be my go-to neighborhood place when I’m super hungry and not willing to drive far — absolutely.

Great lunch special! I got the spring roll and Kung Pao chicken with brown rice! The chicken had a great flavor and was a good portion size for lunch! All of that was $ 8! Service was fast and friendly. I typically don’t eat a lot of Asian food but I would come back here for lunch!

For Nashville it’s hard to find good Chinese. It’s not quite as good as home, but I’m from San Francisco, so that’s hard to compete with. Very good for the light meal I came in for. Don’t really have anything bad to say. High quality, good fast service. It was a pleasant experience.
