Target

This location deserves way more than a 3 star average! I love this Target and visit it often! It is always well stocked, clean, and organized. Parking in this shopping center is always nuts, but that’s no big deal. The staff here is always friendly as well!

Target has really stepped up its game since I was out of the country for the past year. You can buy pretty much everything you might need here (except microfiber facial towels — I’ve tried).
Their cartwheel app for mobile is slightly addicting and if youre anything like me you love the gamification so much you’ll spend unnecessary money just to get ahead of your FB friends and fuel their business model.
But — they have great natural beauty products here. They even sell their own essential oils line. They’ve got great quality towels and linens as well.
Probably the cinch is the location of this Target — very central and surrounded by all those other great stores like Trader Joes, Ulta, BB&B, etc. Very close to the Galleria Mall as well.
You can get your prescriptions filled and do your grocery shopping as this is a Super Target.

Target is the best! You can find just about anything you need! Whether it’s groceries, clothing or movies. This is the most convenient location for me because it’s near all the other places I need to stop.
The only downside is the parking lot. The parking spaces feel smaller than they should be and this place gets pretty packed on weekends and evenings.

Who doesn’t love Target? You can get ANYTHING here. This Target is no different. They have a good kids section, food, household goods, etc. I bought some maternity clothes here and registered. It’s easy for me to drop by on my way home from work. Loses one major star for an awful parking lot set up. This area is on my AVOID list for the weekend. It’s a «parking lot derby,» as Steven B would say. I always feel like I’m going to hit someone or be hit. I’ll stick to the 5 star Kirkwood location whenever I can!

Leaving this Target and felt the need to write a review. I called this morning about a lost item that fell out of my purse on a previous visit and luckily, they had it! So when I came to retrieve from customer service, I brought some hangers and card with me to buy as well. When I asked if I could purchase these few items (3) after retrieving my lost item, I was chastised by the woman in front of the people standing around. She informed me loudly that it would have to be okay with the woman standing in line (who had appeared 10 seconds prior) because she had a return (she assumed) and that’s all customer service was intended for — not to purchase items. I was treated so rudely I couldn’t believe it. Not to mention, I lost the item during a $ 400 visit the week prior. Annoying.

This Target had the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. The people are rude and unknowledgeable. And the Target Pharmacy system is outdated. Plus the hours are terrible. I recommend never filling a prescription there.

If you’re in the market for plus sized clothing, steer clear of Target. Their plus size department is an absolute joke. It consists of about 6 racks that can’t be differentiated from the maternity section practically mixed in unless you look at some tags. Absolutely ridiculous.
On my way out I decided to stop at their Starbucks for a frappucino. This has to be the absolute slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The cashier was more interested in talking to one of his co-​workers than taking my money, one of the girls making drinks stopped to check her cell phone at one point, and they don’t work like they have a line of people waiting for drinks. This trip made me never want to set foot into Target again.

This Target location is really close to home and since I rarely ever want to venture too far from home unless I am being made to, it makes perfect sense that I would visit this location more often than others. Honestly, aside from several ones in Illinois, this is probably the only Missouri location I’ve been to. It’s nice and big, everything seems to be organized. This location also has a Starbucks which is an added bonus. I can shop for home essentials and grab some coffee on my way out!
I came here once desperate to find a photo kiosk for a quick print service (when my mom was visiting) and they have it. The only issue I had is that you have to ask an associate to grab your prints for you as they come out on the other side of the counter. Other than that, I really haven’t found any major issues about this place.
There is a grocery area to this store just like most if not all of the Targets (I am not sure if this is now a standard for Target). I rarely go to the grocery side but I do like to pick up bulks of toiler papers, papertowels, and laundry necessities here. They are oftentimes slightly more than the Wal-​Mart prices when it comes to certain home essentials but I enjoy shopping at Target way better.
Their return service is fantastic as well. I bought a small bookshelf a couple of months ago and it had a broken piece so I had to return it. The lady took the receipt and I told her it was broken and that it was the last one they had. She was very pleasant and took my return without asking too many questions.
Overall, everyone seems really friendly here and I prefer shopping here over anywhere else when I absolutely need to.

Yes, this Target rocks.
The building is big, has a massive parking lot, and is easily accessible from the parking lot. Sounds like a win to me!
They always have great customer service and it’s never too crowded but be careful an rush hour… the lot gets crazy. Everyone tries to go right after work so try going during an off time if you can and you’ll save yourself some stress.

I love this target. It only sucks because it happens to be located in this promenade of ppl who cannot drive. Customer service here is amazing for simple returns and anything really. Employees here are cheerful and if not at least know what their job entails. No complaints.

This Target is located at Brentwood Promenade and shares its parking lot with stores like World Market, Trader Joe’s and PetSmart. As others have indicated, the parking lot is quite often a nightmare. Prepare yourself for that, especially if you’re shopping during the weekend.
There are different types of Targets, and if you’re ever really bored, you can read about them online. I believe this one is just a regular Target, but compared to the Target I grew up with more than twenty years ago in rural Texas, this one is pretty awesome. It does NOT have a Target Optical, but it has a café, a Starbucks, a pharmacy, and a grocery section. The grocery section features mostly nonperishable goods, but it does offer a limited selection of dairy and produce items.

1. Target has cute clothes.
2. If you see something you like, BUY IT! I once saw this super-​cool purple unicorn sweater. They had two of them in the clearance section. I thought to myself, «I’m in my thirties. This is cool and all, but do I really need it? Shouldn’t I be acting more grown-​uppish by now?» I didn’t buy it, but I regretted it. I went back the SAME DAY, and they no longer had either sweater. I guess I’m not in rural Texas anymore. That kind of thing wouldn’t have been in high demand there.
3. Other than having a bit of a wait, I’ve never had a problem making a return here.
4. Target sells many things I like to buy:
–Method soap
–VitaTops (typically $ 4, but often on sale for $ 3.50)
–Market Pantry Peanut Butter Fudge ice cream, which is FANTASTIC
–Hangers and containers in fun colors, particularly during back-​to-​school season
–Lots of Hello Kitty stuff
–Funky home décor
5. Prices are pretty good at Target. Inside the store, be on the lookout for two types of signs:
–Signs offering a gift card if you buy certain items
–Signs telling you to text them to receive a special coupon
You also can download the Cartwheel app, which allows you to check for deals on things you are buying. Honestly, though, I hate that thing.
6. I’ve only used the pharmacy once, but it was a good experience. Forget those ugly orange prescription bottles with white lids. Target has red bottles, and they aren’t even cylindrical! Even crazier, they stand on their lids! MIND. BLOWN.

So, Brentwood Target:
Cool stuff. Good prices. Easy returns. Awesome prescription bottles. Shitty parking. Four stars.

The Pharmacy is a solid 5 stars, the grocery 4 stars, the online store 0 stars. The pharmacy staff is always friendly and helps me argue with my insurance company when necessary.
But, on another note: I purchased and paid for yoga pants which were on special on a Tuesday. Got about 3 emails about the transaction. Then a bossy-​ass email two days later telling me I had 1 more day to pick up my purchase. Um, no… I actually have a life and don’t have time to drive to target whenever. I renewed the purchase for one more day. No kidding, I received an email titled ‚” your purchase has been canceled”, then an email titles ‚” your item is ready for pickup”, right after it. The online purchasing system is bossy, annoying and inaccurate. I went to go pick up my item, went out of my way, and of course, it was not there, even though the email said it was reserved until that date.
I happened to reserve another item at another target, and that item was available as promised. Stupid online ordering system.

I shop at this store fortnightly. It can be very busy during the day (especially weekends) with a cramped parking lot. It would probably be easier to get here at night, although the evening crew might give you attitude when you came in after 22:30.
It is a clean store with clean bathrooms and super selection, but is consistently poorly stocked (empty spots on shelves) and groceries, fresh food are oddly organized. They are always running out of shopping baskets and random carts in every aisle. This Target needs to be better.

I absolutely LOVE target! It has amazing prices, a clean store, helpful employees, and pretty much everything you need!
What’s nice about this location is that it’s surrounded my many other stores (trader joes, pet smart, world market, etc). You can get almost all of your errands run in one location!

This Target has a Starbucks, every commercial product you may need, seasonal items, and more! But they do not have what I need today, it’s out of stock so minus 2 stars for wasting a trip inside to the giant retailer.

This Target is so close to our house, we could actually walk here… although we never do. :-)
It has everything we need from your typical Target, and it’s actually well taken care of. It just has a little but if riff raff working here. Typical of a lot of places near the 170 & 40 interchange, the Metrolink allows some more questionable talent to easily get transportation here, from some if the less desirable areas of town. With that, comes a bit of an attitude that I just don’t care for. You rarely hear thank you, or even a pleasant greeting from the cashier. Basically, they scan your items without saying anything, and look miserable at their job.
If not for the madness that is the nearby Wal-​mart, we’d probably choose there over Target for our household essentials. But Wal-​mart is even a step below in terms of the staff, and the parking lot is always so full, we can hardly find a spot within reason of the entrance.

It is not a question of whether or not I’ll go to Target. I’ll go. But people new to the area should consider some stuff when contemplating traveling to this particular Target:
It’s kind-​of a cluster to get there and get back out, there is a lot of lane switching, especially if you’re traveling on 40.
Upside, it’s very close to a Trader Joe’s, a Petsmart, a BBB, and soon, an Ulta. It’s safe to say that you could get a lot of your shopping done in the immediate vicinity of this Target.
Another upside, this Target doesn’t have a security guard harassing you to see your receipt as you leave. Some other Target locations farther East /​South have that, and it’s not fun.
All that being said, this Target is not the one closest to my house, but it’s the one I go to.

I really really like Target in general. My gripes are with this location in general. Like so many other places in Brentwood, the parking here is a nightmare! What is it with the Brentwood area? Ugh.
This Target tends to be on the messy/​unorganized side. When I was here last, I asked an employee where the ravioli was. She gave me very explicit directions — when I got there, it was an empty shelf labeled ravioli. Didn’t realize this was such a high demand item. Kinda weird.
I was in recently mostly just shopping for baby presents for my sister who is expecting. I don’t regularly (ever) shop for baby stuff so I don’t have a good standard to compare to. However, I felt like they had a lot of offerings! Lots of things I’ve never thought of — baby first aid kits? baby food grinder? boppy covers? what’s a boppy? now I know!
Otherwise, this place is a standard Target. Decent prices, generally friendly sales associates.

I would rather shop here then ever have to go to Walmart! This place is cleaner, faster and let’s face it less weirdos!
I returned something’s I had gotten for my bridal shower, I did not have a receipt and the sales person gave me a gift card.
Great, now I can shop and get something I really need! Only draw back was she gave me a gift card of a baby buggy and told me she was not trying to jinks me those where all they had left!

DON’T BUY YOUR PET FOOD AT THIS TARGET!!! DANGER!!!
Dear Target,
Is it really wise to feature an end-​aisle clearance display loaded with rat poison and other pest killers directly in the middle of the pet food section?
I think I’ll be purchasing my Purina ONE elsewhere from now on.
Sorry, but the opportunity for cross-​contamination is simply too great. Remember, Target, our dogs are family members.
Would your marketing managers purchase Gerber baby food for their children if there was rat poison was on the shelf next to it? I didn’t think so.
We see our pets as our «four-​legged» children. Don’t forget that!
