This seafood restaurant is the most consistent seafood restaurant I have experienced here in WNC. They always have a couple specials but menu is superb and I have never been disappointed. It baffles me why their Unilocal rating is so low? I crave going here more than I can afford to eat out, but when I do frequent this restaurant, I have never been disappointed. Their Ahi Tuna sandwich for lunch is to die for and the Salmon they get for dinner is absolutely amazing and their chef is top notch. Also their Mahi was phenomenal, super fresh, perfectly cooked and amazing flavor. I have lived in Miami and Miami Beach for over 40 years and I would put this seafood restaurant up against any in South Florida. This is a true gem to be in the mountains! Also, if you are not in the mood for seafood, their hamburgers are the best in Brevard, NC hands down. Their bar is fully stocked and they always have a good selection of draft beers on tap. The wine selection is very well selected as well.

There was a 40 minute wait in this pint-sized establishment for a table on a not very busy day in Brevard. I was in a laid back mountain mood and did not mind. I wanted to try this place. I got the fish and chips as did many patrons that day. There were many gristly parts, and, I found it greasy as well. The fries were good. Kay had the crab sandwich with a small salad and all was very good. They served the sandwich on a bun freshly made at the local Bracken Mountain Bakery.

Blackened Mahi Mahi with wild rice and fresh and lightly sauteed vegetables was a great combination. Glass of Malbec was bold without being harsh. Dinner for 4 was $ 100. What a lovely meal with wonderful service.

Couldn’t ask for anything more, good service, fantastic hickory burger and nice atmospburger. Well cooked burger, quality bread, and cute waitress. Surprised to see the mens bathroom door wouldn’t close, or lock. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty, and overall small. But worth the money, even our picky dad said it was a great hamburger

Great food. We had the Ahi Tuna sandwich and the fish and chips. The slaw, fries and entrees were excellent. Service was spot on and helpful. Ambiance was just right. Quiet and accommodating. We would definitely return here again next time we are in Brevard.

We returned for dinner Monday evening… Seemed to have lost our server at one point and got another gal. They seemed short staffed. Two of us ordered burger, both had to be sent back as were very well done. The new burgers,(medium,)were delicious. A gal in our group had the shrimp, said they were just okay, nothing special. The 4th diner said his salad was fine. I’ll keep coming for lunch, perhaps skip the dinner. The ambiance just doesn’t justify ordering something more expensive like a filet or lamb chops.

Ate here on the last day of the 2015 White Squirrel Festival and it was fantastic! I was impressed that during such a busy weekend on Main Street they were able to provide fast, excellent service(very nice staff) and mouth watering meals. I had Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough with a side of fruit and«home-fries»(wonderful). We also had a perfectly cooked burger with a lite pasta salad. Nice presentation and the menu prices were reasonable. Overall a great place to check out if you are in or near Brevard.

I ordered tge bacon blt which was amazing. I’ve never had this combo before and I was really pleased. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and said it was pretty dry and bland, but the fries that came with it were pretty good. The local brewing company also serves their beer here and we both got the ipa and really enjoyed it. Our server was really nice and polite. And our food came quickly and hot!

Stopped in for lunch. The clam chowder was tasty and good but for 5 really overpriced. I had their drunken shrimp served with mixed greens for 11. The shrimp were smallish and cooked in beer. They were cooked nicely but pretty tasteless. A small portion of salad was on the side with no dressing offered. Frankly a tablespoon of dressing would have saturated the tiny pile of greens. The service was good and the soup was tasty but this place is not a great value or dining destination.

Went for dinner while in town to drop off our daughter for camp. I had the salmon. It was good but a little over cooked for me. It came with a side of pasta that was not bad but nothing you could not make at home. The veg was fresh and cooked well. The service was really good and our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The reason for the 3 stars is the prices. I felt the prices were high for the quality. I will try it again.
