I used to live in Brick, and moved away some years ago. I hadn’t been back there in years, until this past fall. I was looking for a good cannoli, and Conforti’s was recommended to me. I’m SO glad we stopped!
I bought cannolis, Napoleons, and assorted cookies. They brought me right back to being a kid! Wonderful! i haven’t seen a bakery boxed tied in that red and white string in YEARS! Brought home some pignoli nut cookies — some to eat immediately, others to freeze. It was so nice to have a REAL Napoleon, instead of the grocery store imitation.
The only thing that was missing were the Jordan almonds. They would’ve made this perfect!
If the prices were high, I didn’t notice. Whatever I paid, it was well worth it!
I’ll be back in Jersey next week, and Conforti’s is definitely on my «to do» list!

I have been to many bakeries and this one has some good points and some bad. First they are a little pricey for a lot of items, although I have seen worse. Their breads are fairly good. At least when I was there they were fresh and had a nice taste. Another thing that is good are their donuts, I am not saying they are the best around, but they are decent for a bakery donut. Unfortunately since I judge a bakery by their donuts among other things I was a bit disappointed.
Their cookies to me were kind of tasteless and getting stale. The worst though were the cakes. They are expensive and taste terrible. I through one away before finishing it because it tasted so bad.
I may go back to try heir danishes to see how they are and maybe pick up some rolls, but I know a couple of items to avoid for sure.

Springfield, VA
In town to visit friends and saw this shop along the way. We bought pastries and bread. The pastries were pretty good, but I think just a little stingy on the fillings. The bread was crisp and fresh. The prices are a bit high, but not too far out of line.

Chatham Township, NJ
Discovered this gem today. Staff was excellent and helpful. Cookies are to die for, very much like a New York old school bakery. Bought pastries as a gift to bring and everyone raved. I rarely give 5 stars, but this bakery gets 5 !
