Steak was excellent, but I got asparagus as a side and it was tough and they literally gave me 4 asparagus spears with my meal. Service was friendly, but slow.

This place is horrible. The Mgmt staff doesn’t follow through w their word. I was there in 12⁄15. I ordered two steaks w the curbside ordering done over the phone. I picked up the food and upon getting home my daughter and I attempted to eat dinner. Do to our busy lives we did take out which I thought would be a bad idea. Guess I was right. The steaks weren’t cooked correctly at all. I called and asked to speak to the Mgr. Anthony got in the phone I explained I was very dissatisfied w both steaks. He went on to apologize asked for my address and promised to send me a gift card for the error. I waited over two weeks. Called back and asked to speak to the manager. A young lady said the Mgr said to take a message so I gave her the info and she states that Mgr Tom would return my call. I explained I was glad it would be someone else cause Anthony never did and 2 plus weeks had passed. Well a week went by and again nothing. I called for the mgr again because o thought it would be a good idea to notify someone outside the store level. Well Anthony got on the phone and gave me the info and said he would personally mail out my gift cards. As hard as it is to find jobs today I felt I should wait to get the gift cards before calling anyone else. I felt bad. Well the gift cards came in. I again ordered two steaks, a side of shrimp and some bread. I went back tonight 1÷29÷16 to pick up my food rushed home to eat again w my daughter. This time both steaks were done terrible. One was over cooked badly. The second was so raw I actually took photos of it to prove it. And to add insult to injury they forgot the side of shrimp. I don’t want nothing g else from this place. The service sucks the Mgmt sucks and so do there cooks. I’d love to hear from someone in their corporate office. I did the survey they ask for. It’s use less. They don’t ask for your number or email address so how can they rectify the problem lol. The place is a joke.

Fried food, and salt. This is kind of what you expect at Outback and similar chains, but I still felt let down. First off, I’ll say the atmosphere is what you’d expect and our waiter was friendly and attentive. As for the food, we got the Bloomin’ Onion for an appetizer, the creamy potato soup, the caesar salad, and the sirloin with marsala mushroom sauce. The Bloomin’ Onion is always good while you’re eating it but not so good after you’ve realized what you just put into your body. I enjoyed the creamy potato soup and the caesar salad. The marsala mushroom sauce on the steak seemed a bit bland and the sirloin was decent, but nothing to write home about. I will say we paid a good price with the special that they’re running — four courses for $ 14.99(soup, salad, entrée, dessert). I know I’ll be back at some point regardless, but I think I’ll look for something different on the menu.

Have not been to an Outback Steakhouse in over 10 years. A lot has changed with service. Food quality still good prices semi-reasonable. When on a weekend for a late lunch. The bloomin onion was a little too spicy for kids. The steak was cooked a little bit more than we requested

My family had lunch here on Sunday and we were very disappointed. We arrived around 12:30 and the place was dead. We were seated at the very back of the restaurant at a DIRTY table. There were crumbs of food still on the table with clean silverware and coasters on top of them. I was totally grossed out and felt like leaving, but we moved to a «cleaner» booth and proceeded to whip out the hand sanitizer. The service was extremely slow and the food was terrible and overly salty. There was a group of 6 people sitting across from us and after they left it literally took them about half an hour to clean up the dirty plates so we had to sit there and look at them while we were eating. Mind you, the place was empty! We will never be back.

This location is slipping. The filet was the toughest filet I’ve ever had and was not ths rare filet I’m used to at Outback. I ordered a house salad but got a ceasar salad. It was no big deal; I like both. I’m more likely to go to Longhorn’s for my next filet. I will most likely not be returning any time soon.

Well after disowning longhorn after a dismal past year of continuous let downs(I also reviewed Longhorn in Howell, NJ) my family thought we would try Outback. My biggest problem with Longhorn is they just cannot cook a steak, medium rare is not dark brown all the way through. We came here to hopefully find a better steak and we were not disappointed. I went with my go to Porterhouse, medium rare. What a shock, cooked perfectly the first time. I actually got to enjoy a steak while my family was still eating instead of sending it back and having to wait 20 minutes for a new one. The service was great, food was excellent, and the sautéed mushrooms, what do you guys do with them?! Delicious. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of the desert. We shared the skillet cookie, which while it was tasty, was supposed to be hot and instead was cold. The waiter quickly replaced it with a new one though. Very good dinner.

Had a great meal here tonight. Started with the watermelon wagon drink which is on the«sips n snacks» menu so it’s only $ 4– sweet! Fiancé had a piña colada. I then moved on to the strawberry peach sangria which was super delish. I had the steak tacos, very tasty. I just wish they had put the delicious herb aioli that was served on the side, on the tacos because there wasn’t enough of it. My fiancé had a 10 oz filet mignon with a baked potato and cheesy broccoli. I’ve never seen him enjoy a vegetable– guess you can’t go wrong smothering it in cheese. Enjoyed our meal very much and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause the service was kinda slow, not that it will stop me from going back!

Decent food for a chain restaurant. Sirloin entrees are delicious esp with their signature mashed potatoes. Everyone raves about their No rules Pasta… but as for me… eh. Just eh. Nothing special. Flavor isnt rich. Just doesnt taste authentic. I gave it another chance at a different location, and it came out the same. The best thing is their… drum roll, pls… salted caramel cookie. Oh my gooodnessss, it’s to die for. Oooey gooey caramel in the center with crunchy bottom and a generous heap of vanilla ice cream on top… just heaven in the mouth.

Outback is not what it used to be. The children’s portions are better than the rest of the menu. The food was plain, unappealing, unappetizing & left me wanting to go somewhere else and never come back. The restaurant was empty so I didn’t expect the service to be so slow. Our kids refused to eat the steak medallions & chicken tenders. It’s a shame they only ate the fries. They eat our chicken tenders & filet mignon at home. The 6oz filet looked like a hockey puck. The plate was naked with no garnish & a scoop of garlic mashed potatoes. The food has changed for the worst. Caesar salad disappointing. The potato soup was good but cold. The bloomin onion & buffalo wings were as good as they used to be. The shrimp &16 oz steak was a disappointment. We didn’t even bother with dessert. Our server was nice at least.

It sucks that i have to give this restaurant a three star rating because it used to be one of my favorites. The food was always delicious and the staff was always helpful but my last experience here really turned me off from the restaurant for a long time. What we were told was going to be a twenty minute wait was an hour wait. One we were seated it took about fifteen minutes for our waiter to get us our drinks and another five for him to take our orders. We waited about forty minutes for our food was was WAY over cooked and the sides we ordered were incorrect. At this point we were too hungry and annoyed to say anything so we just ate and then waited another twenty minutes for the check. I expected to be in and out in about an hour and satisfied with my food but i ended up being there for two plus hours and disgusted with my meal. Unfortunate.

Great across the board. These places vary for me with regards to service and food quality. However I just moved to Brock from north jersey and I am very happy to find that this one is great!

Absolutely the worse outback ever. Aussie cheese fries were disgusting. Globs of unmelted cheese. Sent them back and they came back the same way! My husbands soup the same way, even the salad was gross. The steak was literally murdered. Omg sooo over cooked. Dry, dry, dry. Second time here and had problems the last time too but thought that we’ll give them another shot. LASTTIME for sure.

Ordered the No Rules Parmesan Pasta and the Bloomin’ Onion® — The No Rules Parmesan Pasta was slightly less spicy than it usually seems to be, which was a good thing. — The Chicken Breast in the Fettuccine noodles and creamy Parmesan cheese sauce was cooked and seasoned just right. — The Bloomin’ Onion® was great as usual, even if it is 1948 calories(which I absolutely did not finish on my own).

I’ve had a terrible experience eating out at every restaurant in Toms River and the surrounding areas except this one. Their staff is pretty solid, dependable and mature. I’ve never had my order screwed up, the bartenders know what they’re doing and that one time my steak was slightly too medium but good enough, they changed it anyway. This place and Joe’s Crab Shack seem to be the best run restaurants in town.

One of the few chains I like! The ahi tuna sampler is the best! Better than nice restaraunts! It is nice and rare and well seasoned. Also comes with two different types of dipping sauces. The crab and avacado stack is also great! Outback has really stepped their game up, also very fresh. So good!

Shoutouts to my waiter, Joe, for providing great service. So there are a couple of things that kinda got to me. First off, the food was great but my steak shouldn’t have been as cold as it was(yes, it was cold). Also, if a side of baked potato couldn’t be made because the restaurant ran out of potatoes, just please give a heads up to the customers. We waited pretty long just to get a message relayed to us and by the time the food came out, my steak was cold. It was cooked to perfection for a medium steak but I know there are NO excuses for my steak to be cold. I got offered a baked sweet potato instead, which was really delicious and it was nice and hot. Other than that, it got extremely busy and as much as I can’t fault the staff for running slow, just relaying messages to customers by letting them know that the food will arrive at a certain estimated time does help cause we thought Joe died or something… maybe even in the bathroom pooping. He provided great service regardless and the only thing to really blame for us was the kitchen running slow. Like I said, just a quick message will help. Thanks for the great food and letting us be able to watch young Brazilians get raped by the Dutch yesterday. :)

Food good service and organization a disaster though new manager made every effort ! Maybe dinner time better — lunch on a rainy holiday overwhelmed this restaurant. Our server Larry was the best ! Hopefully they will improve because food was good even though they were so understaffed couldn’t get a martini

I use to like Outback. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the one here in Brick. As soon as I walked in it smelled like urine and nearly knocked me over!!! I thought I would be able to get thru a dinner, and that ain’t gonna happen! Got my drink and appetizer, was ok, I guess! Plates and glasses look like they were washed in dirty dish water! I guess coming later might help, less lighting! See the place still gets good ratings, I won’t be back! Thanks for the memories!
