Nutmeg Curling Club

The Curling and Cocktails event was a blast! Our instructors were very helpful in giving us a basic understanding of the game. It’s got to be extremely diffficult to perfect (if not impossible), but is pretty accessible for newbies. We enjoyed our ice time, which was spent learning and playing the game, and also enjoyed the social atmosphere afterward. They have a great little bar, and a drink was included with the event. Additional drinks could be purchased at very reasonable prices. I was surprised as snacks were also provided — there was bruschetta, pork tenderloin, mixed nuts and caprese salad.
The Nutmeg Curling members really went above and beyond in ensuring that we all had a wonderful evening out and I’d highly recommend any event they offer. If I lived closer, I’d consider joining.
