Tiago’s Bar and Grill

So far just for lunch but had a terrific arugala/​fig/​balsamic pizza. Very good fish tacos and good at accomodating requests. I’ll be back for some evening specials. I have been by a few evenings and agree that there is a pub-​noise that might be too much for some.

This a nice and cozy spot. Not the best when it’s overcrowded and you are trying to eat. However there food is great! The staff is attentive and they do have great specials for happy hour, I’ve tried their salmon which is my favorite and my husband loves their burgers. I’m not a fan of their empanadas but everything else is great!

So I initially gave Tiago’s five stars because I had such an amazing experience on my first visit. However, my last two visits have been anything but. The food on the Latin menu is still delectable, definitely have nothing negative to say about the food.
But with that said, the service was BAD these last two times. Both times the service was slow and inefficient. I honestly think it’s because they are short staffed (the bartender should not have to leave the bar to served people in the dining area). Hoping they hire more waiters/​waitresses so that the service improves.

This is a nice and cozy place to hang out with family or friends. The service is good and the food and drinks is really on point. Pricing is moderate and not too steep. It’s very easy to stay in there for hours enjoying yourself.

I’ve become a fan of this place over time. Their regular menu and standard bar atmosphere make it a 3 star, but after becoming somewhat of a regular their friendly welcoming service and specials menus push them to a 4 star for me. Tiago’s has become our go-​to place for a reliably satisfying meal, especially their latin specials menu. Off of their regular menu the wings have never disappointed and the burgers are always satisfying. Sam and the rest of the staff have always been ready and willing to try to whip up anything I’ve wanted that might not be on the menu. They also like to hear feedback whether good or bad. Management is really interested in improving anywhere customers think they might need it. Tiago’s won’t be on any «Trendiest of…» lists, but count on the establishment for a down to earth establishment just happy to leave you with a full belly and a smile.

The panini was great and the drinks were amazing. The service by the amazing bartender (sara) was tremendous!

Typical bar. Food is ok. A little pricey for the quality and quantity. Will give them points for putting some unique spins on traditional bar fare. Happy hour specials are their specialty. Service is touch and go. It’s been good and then other times not so good. A decent option for drinks in downtown bpt.

INCONSISTENT! We’ve been to this bar n grill several times and our experiences have been unpredictable to say the least. On several occasions, we went on their Thursday Latin night for dancing and had wonderful evenings. The crowds were fun and we felt safe partying in Bridgeport. We went other times where the crowd was shady, the music was so loud it was uncomfortable and the service was poor at the bar. I had to look over my shoulder as I walked to my car on those nights.
We went a few times to have cocktails and food. The food was forgettable and a little overpriced for the portions. They have a limited menu, so your stuck with their uncreative choices.
The male restroom is always dirty. If your not a smoker, prepare for SECOND HAND SMOKE. They leave the door to their patio open, which is next to the bar and guess what floats in??? You guessed it! Everyone’s smoke. Not appealing at all. You’ll have to go to the other side of the restaurant to avoid this.
With that being said, you may have a great time. You may have a crappy time. There’s no way to know. So if you bring ear plugs, don’t have to pee, are not allergic to smoke and are not too hungry you should be good.

Menu is really limited, service is not great and the place could use a bath. Won’t be back. Its a little pricy for what you get, not good value for the money at all. I felt like a chump for even being there. If your looking for good food with a casual pub atmosphere on this side of Bridgeport Public House is much better.

A very solid pub in downtown Bridgeport. We came in for a late lunch on a weekday and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was grilled a bit which really kept the wrap together. And it had a good bit of kick to it. If you weren’t satisfied, they even included some extra buffalo sauce on the side. Came with fries that were nothing to write home about and were a little on the small side.
Overall, if you’re at the nearby courthouses and need a place to eat, this is a fine sit-​down choice. It was fairly quick and reasonable prices. Nothing special, but not bad by any means either.
A-​OK suits it just fine. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Simply put: One of Bridgeport’s best destinations for creative and delicious food! I usually go for the Portuguese selections which are out of this world. Clams portuguese style are an amazing combo of clams in a garlicky broth plus delectable old world sausage. Stuffed portobello mushrooms are a culinary delight! Not enough space here to describe every dish I’ve tried and loved here, but if you drive past BPT without stopping here, you are cheating yourself!

My girlfriend brought me here for my Birthday lunch, BIG MISTAKE! I MEAN HUGE!!! We waited 40 minutes for our food, when it came my fries were cold and my medium buger was burnt, my friends vegetarian sandwich came with chicken. The fries were replaced and came hot though my burger came 15 mins later!!! This place might be good for beers but not for anything else :(
