Shake Shack has been one of my favorite burger places to eat that is around me. I’m not really a hamburger person but at shake shack I am. I don’t usually eat the tomatoes and lettuce with burgers but at shake shack their combination of all the ingredients in addition with their special shack sauce is probably one of the best tasting burgers I have had. I also enjoy their milkshakes and their fries(sometimes with cheese sometimes without depending on my mood). Their services are really good too always friendly and welcoming. I also enjoy the environment inside because everything is kept clean. The only complaint I have is that the prices are a bit on the expensive side. This is a restaurant that I visit maybe once or twice every two months because overeating at this place will make me start hating the burgers and will probably empty my wallet. Will be back soon :) ~ Stanley

Not jumping on the«fast casual» bandwagon just yet. Although the food was good, it is overpriced and fairly small portions for the price. Got the double shack burger, fries, and a small drink for 14.50. I suggest getting a water cup instead of a soft drink, they fill the cups all the way up with ice and my soda was about 3 sips. Even though the food was good, I left feeling unsatisfied. I’ll stick to the chipotle across the street.

The beef and chicken here is very juicy and lightly seasoned resulting in a pleasantly satisfying experience. The buns on the sandwiches are great because they are connected on one side like a hot dog bun resulting in a burger that stays in place while you eat it. No extra effort required to keep the bun to meat ratio the same. The concrete is a definite must have if you are an ice cream lover. I ate it with a spoon and had no regrets. The portions in general are on the small side here. If the portions were bigger to match the prices I would easily rate this as a 5 star burger spot.

I am changing my review to a 5 star! After the first visit already was teetering towards 5 stars but I couldn’t justify it because it was a fast food joint. On second thought though, after getting the abita root beer and having a great experience with the staff, I think I can throw a 5 star at this place.

I love Shake Shack and this particular location. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel ripped off by the prices but I can’t complain about the food. No I take that back. The chicken sandwich was dry and uneventful so I recommend you stick with the burgers. Oh and they are sooooo good. Crave worthy! I wish there were a Shake Shack in Wilmington, DE and Atlantic City! And the local flavors are great. I still remember a NJ sweet corn concrete from last year.

Love to have this location in the suburbs right next to the mall! Been a few times and I like to stick to a shack burger and fries. I like their coffee fair trade shake as well as some of the concretes but everything is so filling! The sweets are only for once in a blue moon.

I rarely review chain restaurants but wow! this shake shack had a cool atmosphere, neatly decorated with twinkle lights, and had an open layout. our food was made quite promptly, and when asked for a refill, we were greeted with a smile. our food was very tasty.

Shake Shack makes awesome shakes! I’m a huge fan of their Vanilla Shake. I tried the Strawberry one once and regretted it because it wasn’t as awesome as the Vanilla one. Their burgers and fries are good too. I like their Cheese Fries. The cheese seems to collect at the bottom of the container so don’t be afraid to dig deep if you’re looking for more cheese. The burgers are good too; the patties aren’t super thick so if you’re hungry go for the double patty option. Where do I stand on the eternal burger restaurant wars? I like Shake Shack, but In-N-Out is still my jam!

Shake Shack tries to be a trendy gourmet burger place. All they really are is an overpriced place to get a mediocre burger and drink. The dining room was nicely decorated but the seating was hard benches and picnic tables or cafeteria tables and chairs. Not even as comfortable as a McDonalds. Trash cans are nearby and you bus your own table. Menu is on the wall. Order like you would at a fast food place and they hand you a pager. The person who took our order was friendly but never asked us how we wanted our burgers cooked. I had the Smoke Shack cheeseburger it was a very thin square patty which resembled Wendy’s but wasn’t as thick or juicy. It was cooked medium rare, which is to my liking. Nasty chewy weird tasting pieces of bacon and some mildly hot cherry peppers topped the meat and were covered by a thin bun. I didn’t need to open my mouth wide to fit this inside. It was okay but a very small amount of nothing special. My wife had a Shack Burger which is the thin meat patty with lettuce tomato and their sauce. Hers was cooked even less and she prefers medium but this isn’t the place to have it your way. She was also unimpressed. The fries were perfectly cooked but they tasted like the frozen supermarket potatoes. The shakes had a nice taste but they also were very small. My shake was quite lumpy. I think it could have been mixed better. I think the food is just okay and extremely overpriced for the portion size. I can eat a burger, fries and a shake here and be comfortably filled but my son would eat twice as much. Had he been with us the bill would have approached $ 60.00 for a dinner of sandwiches. I do not recommend that you eat at Shake Shack. There are so many better values and better quality to be had.

Your standard Shake Shack. Arrived for lunch at 11:45AM and beat the rush! There is ample seating on the weekdays, but I can’t say the same for the weekend. There is an «outdoor» seating area with picnic tables, large windows that open up when it’s warm out and overhead string lights similar to the New York City Madison Square Park location.

continuing on my farewell tour of new jersey, which ends this week, i stopped off at my little oasis in central jersey — the shake shack at the bridgewater commons. i love it here. i want to buy stock in this shit. this shake shack doesn’t have any of the shit that makes shake shake in the city annoying — long ass lines, hawking for seats, pigeons landing on your table, squirrels eating your leftovers. this one is way laid back, cool vibes indoors and out. for kids families spring breakers that are staying in jersey, and the business lunch crowd, all coming together for this softly lit place with outta sight hot dogs. today was an oober simple order. no cheese fries, beer, rootbeer or my burger and a dog thing. just a shack-cago dog, my favorite hotdog, so well made. its the only food item that im okay with the fact that it all falls apart. im like sitting here eating my hotdog with a fork, thats how wet it gets, just being like, oh yeah, yellow mustard, give it to me. they usually have the experimental food too — iv tried it, its cool — but i wanted classics, not their run at a chicken sandwich. and now that its getting oober nice outside, i could just sit at the porch and chill. i fell asleep waiting for the food. that sortav happens to me. i go from hungry to hangry to ptfo’d sitting up. hahaha shake shack brought me back to life. it always does. 5 stars. and im just going to come out and say it. right here right now. shibi murali, cupertino kid, used to drive 85 miles a fucking hour up 85 North to the In N Out in Mountain view because the one in sunnyvale was too packed(i could do the whole trip in 15 fucking minutes). I believe Shake Shack is better than In N Out. There I said. Oh u mad now? It’s just that in n out is all fucking hype, then i eat it and its starting to feel like something is missing. shake shack is hype too, but it lives up to it more these days. thats all. sorry yay area. shout out love. [ post script: shake shack totally sent me a free custard for my review. that was super cool of them. yayyy tnxs :) ]

Shake Shack in Bridgewater delivers a consistent experience as any of the others I’ve eaten at. They are another Not So Fast Food restaurant, for those not familiar with the chain. I would say that Shake Shack is more than a burger joint, but a club. Those that enjoy it, are fans. The rest leave feeling they’ve overpaid for a burger and milk shake. I am a fan, but it’s because of the off the beaten path options they have. Their Shack-ago Dog uses a genuine Vienna Beef hot dog. Tough to find these in the northeastern United States, so I appreciate when I can get one. They have Abita Root Beer on draft. Again, if you aren’t familiar, it’s a brand from Louisiana. They use a potato bun on their burgers another regional twist. So my point is their subtle approach at bringing us together with familiarity is working. By adding a millennial conscience by using reclaimed bowling alley lanes for tables, and you’ve created the club that others want to be part of. With that being said, they do lose a point for pricing. They are higher than other Not So Fast Food restaurants, but I guess that just translates into dues for club membership.

I’ve been here twice already. I’ve only had their fries and milkshakes, but my boyfriend has had their burgers and hotdogs, and he loves it! The food is definitely on the greasy side, so this isn’t a place you should come to often. It’s very clean inside, and as you walk in, you can see the kitchen and the employees, so I like that. I also like that they have«doggy parking» outside for your furry friend, if you have one. They also sell doggy treats for them. Overall, a really nice place for a burger and shake.

I heard great things about Shake Shack and I wanted to go. However, the lines for the Shake Shack in NYC were always too long. They finally opened a Shake Shack near my home in NJ and the line was a lot shorter. I order a regular burger and a vanilla shake for my boyfriend. I definitely thought the burger was good but it was nothing special. I would have been so disappointed if I waited in a hour line for Shake Shack. If you are craving a burger, then Shake Shack is a good choice. But I would not go out of my way to go here.

This was my 2nd Shake Shack, but the 1st time was only for a shake. This was my first burger and fries — did not disappoint! The burger was solid, well-cooked, simple but tasty! But the fries are where it’s at! — crinkle cut, well-done, lightly salted to perfection! Had a B+W shake and shared with the kids — let’s just say we drank it down in 2 minutes! can’t wait to go back — wish there was one closer to me…

My favorite burger. I’m a fan of thin patties on the grill top, seasoning, shack sauce, and a Martin potato roll. Better than the NYC location because there is basically no line.

One of my favorite burger joints in the East Coast other than BurgerFi. West coast will always be In & Out. I just love the fresh burgers and shakes. Their cheese fries is just amazing, it’s crispy and crinkled and comes with a special blend cheese sauce! I usually get their coffee fair trade shake and shack meister double stack burger which comes with onion strings and their special cheese wrapped nicely in wax paper and presented very well. The line moves pretty quickly and the staff are very efficent. What’s to complain when the food comes quickly and made fresh!

Way to go, Shake Shack! We came in at around 12pm on Saturday. We actually didn’t see any line that stretched beyond the front door. In fact, when we walked inside, there was no line at all, and numerous empty tables were available. We did see some tables occupied by patrons, though. Because there was no one in front or behind us, we slowly looked at the menu to see what we wanted. The person who took our orders had a nice attitude, and gave us a buzzer so we could wait until our food was ready. As we waited, we were able to see the employees prepare meals and shakes. After a few minutes, our buzzers went off, but the person at the register said just wait a few more moments until someone brings our trays to us. Soon, a friendly employee called our names, presented our trays and explained what was presented. After that, we grabbed a seat to enjoy. I ordered a Shackburger(cooked MEDIUM-WELL by request) with fries and a Black and White Shake. This burger was topped off with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and their own sauce. There are some places that unfortunately can’t comprehend the meaning of medium-well, but this place nailed it. The center was slightly pink(if looked closely), the texture was firm and NOT hard, and the burger didn’t taste dry. Everything appeared and tasted fresh and delicious. I even added ketchup on top of their own sauce just to enhance the good taste. The Crinkle Cut Fries appeared and tasted fresh with the right amount of salt. As with any french fry, dipping them into ketchup made the taste a lot better. For the price, they actually gave you a really good portion of thick fries. Needless to say, I ate most of it, gave some to my friend who didn’t order fries, and just let the rest go since we were filled up from our burgers. The amount is actually ideal for sharing with two people. My friend had the Shack Stack with a Peanut Butter Shake. The burger was topped off with cheese, fried mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and Shake Sauce. He didn’t order any fries. He enjoyed his burger. Even though the size of the shakes were small and the price was high, don’t be fooled by thinking that you would finish this quickly. These shakes were THICK and CREAMY. My black and white shake was a blend of chocolate and vanilla, which tasted great. My friend enjoyed his peanut butter shake. So ask yourself this — is it better to drink a small, tasty, thick shake, or a big, watered-down, bland one? Right by the kitchen was a clean area where patrons could grab ketchup, mustard, napkins, and plastic utensils. A complimentary filtered water system was available here for dine-in patrons, which was a huge plus. My friend and I grabbed two cups of water to drink after finishing off our shakes. The restrooms were located in the back, and they were very clean as well. As we ate, we noticed the bus boy kept on walking around in a loop throughout the dine-in area. I guess he does that during times when this place isn’t crowded? The whole entire place looked modern with comfortable seats, sports programming on TVs, and wooden elements on tables and walls. The entire place even looked clean too, which is a plus! Sure prices are high, and fries aren’t included with your burgers(unlike Steak and Shakes Signature) or hot dogs, but it appears that you are paying for the quality. Also, the burgers can be cooked to your special request. You have to make sure you tell them in the beginning, or else your burger will be cooked«medium». Overall, this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s curious about trying Shake Shack for the first time. I definitely would like to return for a blended custard concrete. :)
