Time to Eat is a cute little diner, but holy cow is it extremely busy! One of the toughest things is probably finding a parking spot. Once inside though, it was everything you’d want in a diner. We had a fine meal(though I will say my hashbrowns were not very crispy and I left most of them on the plate). Refills were plentiful and timely. Our server was great, and she also awesomely let us sit in our booth for the better part of three hours without making us feel bad about it at all. Also, just a note, my phone tried to tell me I had to get back on the highway but it’s just a GPS error. You really need to be on the access road that runs next to the highway to get to the diner. Don’t let your phone steer you wrong!

Went here with a friend for breakfast. The service was just so so. The woman serving us was not pleasant. We each ordered a Denver omelet with hash browns and toast. The hash browns tasted like old oil. The omelet did not have a fresh taste. Everything tastes of grease. We were not pleased. Will not be returning.

The food and service was great. Our waitress was amazing! I ordered homemade perogies and they were delicious! I highly recommend.

Extremely subpar diner. Recently moved to somerville and decided to give this a try because I simply knew of no other diners in the area. It was a Sunday so it was absolutely packed which was a good sign to me suggesting the food was good. My fiancé and I ordered our usual, I had a western omelette and hashbrowns we split a strawberry crêpe and she had a veggie egg white omelette. Unfortunately everything was pretty flavorless and just blah. The presentation was sloppy and the service was just average, they were busy and I personally dont expect 5 star service at Diners but the food needs work. I would not go back here.

Horrible food and experience! How can a diner mess up chicken fingers?! Also the waiter messed up our order twice. No cheese on a sandwich means no cheese. Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Service was fast and courteous at a very busy 1:00PM on a Sunday. Large screen tv’s over the counter set at low volume for NFL games. Got lucky and ordered their special Chicken Pot Pie(made in house) very large and very tasty. Came with soup and very fresh gourmet salad. A good deal for the $ 10 I spent, will definitely be back.

I had a good experience however, my wife did not. Her omelette had a lot of egg shells. They offered us something else and the manager comped my wife’s omelette which was nice. I’ll definitely be back to try it again.

Frankly, I’ve never tried the food so I can’t speak to its quality. BUT I came across this diner today when my kid got sick in the car and it was the first place available to turn in. I ran inside to see if I could get some tissues, and the manager there was super nice and helpful — not only giving me tissues put a plastic bag and almost a whole roll of paper towels. He then offered up the restaurant bathroom in case I needed to take her inside to clean her up, even though we weren’t customers. A class act, seriously.

wait. wait…wait…wait…wait… That was the theme of my New Year’s day brunch experience at Time to Eat Diner. Waiting for a post NYE cure was rough. The wait for our table was reasonable considering the crowd size but the wait to get water and food was ridiculous. Our waiter was very apologetic and clearly spread too thin. I knew he wasn’t to blame for the wait. Most of our table ordered different omelets and overall, the orders were accurate. I had to send mine back and I settled for the second try, even though it still wasn’t my exact order. The menu is ginormous. I should have guessed the food wasn’t worth the long wait after seeing all of the choices on the menu. A diner with a massive variety screams«frozen, not fresh» The omelet options are great but the taste is bland. Potatoes are not rave worthy either. I needed salt, pepper hot sauce and jalapeño to give my dish a decent taste. Our entire party left frustrated and we agreed to cross this spot off the list. Even if the wait isn’t bad any other day, I have been to diners with much better food. I’ll give them credit for awesome looking desserts. If that’s your thing, this may be a solid spot.

The food here is worth trying. Honestly is a hit or miss for most people. Being a vegetarian their options are great. Uniquely they are the I my ones in the area serving Fat Sandwiches! Their options are of great variety and taste amazing. Their pizza fries are okay but their burgers(vegetarian) are worth trying. Servings are hefty and prices are realistically alright.

I just love this place. So many options, but you can never go wrong with the omelette and carrot cake. Friendly staff and just overall the best diner in the area

Ordered spinach dip and potato skins. Worst food I have ever had. The spinach dip was watery and the chips were stale. The potato skins were soaked in fake cheese wiz and tasted like chalk, not to mention the watery sour cream they gave us. Will not be returning.

In fairness, I haven’t been here in a year or so however as diners go, this one was the worst one I have ever been too. To me, as diners go, they are all about the same for the most part. Same quality of food, service, hours, prices, etc. Of course, there are outliers — ones that stand out as terrific and better than the rest or terrible and worse than the rest. Unfortunately this diner is the latter. I would recommend driving a little bit further to the Bridgewater Diner if you are seeking a quality diner.

I recommend the tuna melt, as it was awesome. Our waiter was a nice older man whose name has escaped me permanently. They were pretty busy around midnight which is proof of their popularity. The cook forgot to take out the plastic wrapper off the cheese. Once we alerted the waiter, he proceeded to not charge my friend for his food. Good move. I can’t hold that against the diner because mistakes will happen.

First time I was here. The food is OK, and the waiter was good. What’s not good is that after rendering the check, they rang up the meal for about five bucks more. When I questioned it they started saying I ordered additional food items that did not show on the check, but showed on their computer. Not only was their position unreasonable(rendering a check then claiming their own check was wrong), management was rude about it. I left with the impression that it was a scam and they probably get away with it with tons of customers. I will never eat here again.

Big menu, quick service, reasonable prices, good late night hours… This is my go to breakfast and lunch spot in the Somerville area for a quick bite to eat. The food has always been as expected and never disappointed.

I came here for a Saturday brunch at 10:30 am and it was busy and bustling! There’s quite a variety of options: standard breakfast fare like eggs and pancakes, but also burgers, pasta, and Polish options. I got an everything omelet, which included ham, cheese, mushroom, tomatoes, and peppers. It was delicious. The omelet was cooked to just the right level of moistness, and the ingredients were generous. I’d come back here again!

This was my first time here. It was late and my friends and I were hungry. Time to Eat Diner is located on the east bound side of rt. 202 in Bridgewater. We were seated immediately even though it was packed. This is a nice size diner with both booths and tables. Our waiter came over right away and asked us for our drink order which was greatly appreciated since it was cold out. The menu is extensive. There is everything your typical diner fare has except their pancake menu. They make pumpkin, chocolate chip, apple, blueberry, cherry, strawberry pancakes besides plain. There is everything from daily dinner menu specials which include soup to nuts. There is also al la carte items of every type of food. I ordered the broccoli cheddar omelet with well done home fries and rye toast. My home fries were cooked to my liking. I had 3 cups of hot coffee. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn’t even have to ask for a refill on my coffee. My waiter automatically asked if I would like a refill. My friend ordered a pizza burger cooked perfectly topped with a marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. The deluxe came with French fries, a few onion rings, cole slaw and pickle . It looked delicious. If I’m i. The area I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again and try something else on the menu.

My rating is heavily weighted on the meal that I ordered. For Go-To’s at a Dinner are usually, something Greeky(Gyro), something eggy(omellette with 3 kinds of meat/the better), or disco fries. Growing up in the area, and having been here numerous times — sad to only give this place a 3 star rating. I feel that the Gyro Platter is a staple menu item as the basic cheeseburger that should be made well 100% of the time. I ordered the Gyro Platter and was underwhelmed to say the least. Gyro meat — rubbery, overcooked, definitely came frozen out of a box — not homemade. Tomatoes — meally, soggy, watery Pita — not bad Tzatziki Sauce — commercial, stiff, unflavored, i’ve had better at Costco Fries — decent, crisp, best part of the meal On a positive side — I ordered this as a Lunch Special — which also came with a soup(Matzo ball) and a dessert(strawberry shortcake). In short — lunch specials from 11 to 3 are well worth the value; just not sure about the Gyro Platter.
