I only recently started my foray into Greek food, and the Macedonian Grill did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, and the food was very affordable for the portions. I ordered the lamb souvlaki and the Greek salad. The salad was large for a side salad and jam-packed with cool ingredients. In addition to the usual greens, you get stuffed grape leaves and peppers — I’m so glad I didn’t go the easy way and get fries! The lamb souvlaki was large and tasted great. The menu was very expansive, can’t wait to visit again and try something new!

We WERE going to have brunch here on Labor day, but we were never seated. The hostesses didn’t even bother to take a name when we requested a table. We waited close to 30 minutes while we observed people who showed up after us get tables outside immediately, without waiting. It seemed as if people were being seated randomly. I brought this to the attention of the hostess and she didn’t seem to have a response to my question. We left disappointed and more than likely not return next time we visit Brigantine. The menu items seemed delicious but I guess we’ll never know due to their poor customer service. The one star rating is for the service, not the quality of the food.

I have not been able to reach anyone from The Macedonian Grill to let them Know about our experience last night. We arrived at 8:30 with a party of 10 for dinner! We are seasonal home owners and wanted to bring guests there since we have been hearing great reviews. We were intercepted by the waitress handling the outside seating and was refused service as we were a large party and you closed at 9. Imagine our embarrassment in front of everyone with us and outside as she was not discreet about it.

Enjoyed lunch here with friends while visiting Brigantine. An off the menu request to have waffles with creamed chipped beef and an order of fried chicken was granted with no problem. My friends always order the blueberry pancakes with sides of sausage. The pancakes were stuffed with large fresh blueberries and the sausage links were full size not small breakfast links. The menu is enormous with hundreds of selections. They have a large selection of Greek and Mediterranean specialties which I intend to try next time.

Food is good but they close at 8:30pm on a Saturday in August? Just got turned away… I’m off to spend my cash somewhere else I guess!

This is our favorite place in Brigantine. Extensive menu, great atmosphere and friendly staff. I always get the veggie gyro with tzatziki. And a Greek salad. I also like their open faced sandwiches, falafel, and wraps. We’ve also had some amazing dinner entrees of fish, mousaka, and others. It’s a family run business and a terrific gem for Brigantine! You can’t go wrong here.

On vacation from NYC and wanted a good lunch. All the positive reviews led us here… and they weren’t wrong! I ordered the low carb combo with chicken souvlaki and gyro and my hubby ordered the chicken and portobello sandwich with fries. Both were excellent! Coming from the land of Greek diners in Queens, this was right up there with the best of them. Also, service was on point. Our waitress,(forgot her name but she had long blond hair with glasses) never let our drinks get to the bottom without offering a refill. If you find yourself in the area, this is a good spot to hot if you are looking for both healthy and filling options. Thumbs up for sure!

The Bible says says Noah was a good man in his time, meaning, compared to a world of evil men. The shore is a world of restaurants that offfer little value, especially Atlantic City. This places is just a few minutes by car from the Marina casinos. For a place at the shore, this is an excellent find. I agree that some prices are oddly high, but other items are reasonable. Clearly the Greek/Mediterranean food is their specialty, and that’s what I like. It’s the only falafel I have found in the area. OTOH my chicken sandwich with sauteed vegetables was delicious, and had good ingredients, and they were cooked well, but the moisture of the vegetables destroyed the sandwich bread that they used. Keep it simple and enjoy.

Picked this place last minute and was glad we did. Best Greek food I have had since I moved from Chicago 28 years ago. Saganaki was extremely tasty and great gyro and falafel. Owner gave us a sample of pork and chicken solvouki that was amazing, will be back for more.

Love this place. We order the chicken souvlaki every time we visit with a side of Greek salad. The Taziki sauce is beyond awesome. All ingredients are fresh. Tonight we also ordered a side of onion rings. They were also delicious, and served piping hot. Since the weather was nice this evening we were able to dine outside.

Sometimes you just know a place is 5-star quality, even when you’ve only been there twice. After my second visit to Macedonian Grill, I knew that I had to bump up my review to a 5. As I mentioned in my previous review, the menu is very similar to a diner. The variety of offerings is quite vast. The portions are also humongous On my most recent visit, the Selena’s favorite wrap caught the eye of both myself and my husband. With the five-zillion things on the menu, I do find it pretty humorous that we both ordered the exact same thing. I guess great minds eat alike. The wrap was STUFFED with grilled chicken, fresh jalapenos, avocado, fresh cilantro, fresh tomato, fresh red onions, salsa and cheddar. Did you notice that I said fresh a lot? That’s because the veggies were fresh. Notice the word«stuffed» in all caps? That’s because the wrap was literally stuffed to the brim with all these fresh fillings. It was a little messy to eat, but it was so tasty I was fine with that. The wrap also came with a side Caesar salad. The salad was basic with just lettuce, croutons and dressing, but it was a decent side and pretty good as well. So I think I found my casual go-to when I want to eat just about anything. So I’ve only looked at the breakfast menu, but it kind of makes me a little weak in the knees and a little overly excited to return. Looking forward to many, many more visits to Macedonian Grill.

Stopped in last weekend for some take-out breakfast. Had an egg sandwich and a burrito. Both were excellent and very filling.

Went here for the first time last week for breakfast. $ 13.99 for Eggs Benedict is ridiculous and so are most of their prices. We both ordered two eggs with turkey sausage. Their idea of turkey sausage is ground turkey meat formed by hand into an odd shape and then deep fried. This so called creation has no casing and no resemblance in taste or appearance to turkey sausage. The waitress was not attentive and was not interested in my complaint about the meal. $ 30.00 for breakfast for two and we were not pleased. Never going back.

Such good food! Every time I come here I get the baked ziti. It’s delicious! It may not look like much, but the food is great!

Anyone who goes down the shore frequently will agree that you’d have a better chance finding an actual mermaid than restaurant which has both quality food and is affordable. Plain and simple, they gouge you at the shore and often they don’t put much effort into their cuisine because you are trapped between McDonalds and the Atlantic Ocean. I found myself in Brigantine this week with family and after a quick Unilocal search found the Macedonian Grill. It’s been awhile since I had Greek food and it was nearby. Admittedly, MG is more diner fare than fancy restaurant, which was fine by me. The menu is daunting in the way most Greek diners are but I can make it easy for you. Stick to the Greek specialties. Most of us ordered some version of their souvlaki and none were disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and the pita was crispy and warm. This was one of the closest experiences I had to the real Greek cuisine I enjoyed in Greece on my honeymoon 20 years ago. Very impressed! I’m told the burgers, chicken tenders and fries were also above average as well. Combined with the great service(all the servers and the bus girl worked as a team to make our experience great), has me wanting to go back next time I’m at the shore. Even though I rarely make it over to Brigantine, it may be worth the diversion.

Had takeout… pretty decent overall. Tasty gyro, nice size, came with salad on the side. Feta was fresh, grape leaves were solid… overall a good choice for Greek good when in Brigantine.

Had delivery. The gyro was huge. Best tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had! The lamb kabob on pita was ok. The meat wasnt very tender, so it was difficult to eat. The fries were super crispy and seasoned lightly. Even after delivery they were still crunchy.

Great place for breakfast. The service was pretty quick and they were able to accommodate our large group of about 9 people on a Sunday morning last minute. The food was good, especially the creamed chipped beef. Will definitely come here again!
