I come here semi-regularly — often enough to know a number of the dishes, but not so often that the staff recognizes me. The man at the counter is always proud to show me the wide variety of veggie items on their menu, which is endearing. The menu has an entire vegetarian section that features mock meat substitutes. It also has a separate section dedicated to bean curd, most of which is vegetarian/vegan. I like this place. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here — after all, it’s about the same quality as many other Chinese fast-food takeout joints — but if you’re in the area frequently like I am or if you live nearby, it’s a good place to grab a quick bite after a night out or if you’re pinched for time. Note: they use lots of MSG, and they add oyster sauce to many of their dishes. That said, they are happy to hold either of these ingredients if you ask.

HERROOOWELCOMTOCHAAAHASSSS! This is my go-to joint for greasy chink chow and it never disappoints. For only $ 20 you can get enough food to feel gross for three days straight. Do you ever eat food in bed and hit that point where you can no longer navigate pornhub with the amount of grease on your fingers? Yeah well you get the idea. I recommend the peking ravioli, it’s a top notch titty tingling experience that will nudge you from the cliffs edge after a night of slugging whiskey and double-fisting bags of chips.

This is the grossest Chinese place ever. We ordered lo mein, fried rice, and crab ragoon. The delivery was late and everything was drenched in oil. So, so gross. I will never get food from here again :/

Delivery is super fast, food is made super fast. Price is not that cheap and the quality of food is not delicious for chinese take out. But they are reliable.

Super great! We had General Gau chicken and egg rolls– the wraps on the egg rolls are a little thick. We also had mixed vegetables and those were great, will order a large mixed veggie next time for us two veggie lovers.

Never ordering from here again. Ordered from them and after an hour and a half and the restaurant calling us 3 times they finally decided that they«did not order to our address». They had already charged by my boyfriends card, so they emailed him saying they would refund him but 2 days later the money still has not been put into his account. I cannot speak to the food itself seeing that I never had the chance to receive it.

Chinese take-out is usually salty, greasy and makes you feel gross and sick an hour after eating it .but Chang’s is completely different! It’s some of the best Chinese take-out that I’ve had. The chicken wings are very flavorful and not dripping with grease. Their egg rolls are HUGE and taste amazing. The spring rolls have too much cabbage for me and the cabbage is a little tough. But overall great customer service, very clean sitting area and great food. I will be returning.

I really like it. The food is very decent for the prices but I think that the best part of this place is that they are very nice, deliver at home ASP and always with a smile. The taste of the food might not be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but is really good. I really recommend it.

Good, cheap, fast and friendly. I love the scallion pancakes and wonton soup. We order from this place weekly– super friendly and consistent. Giant pu pu platter for 2 lasts for days and especially delicious crab rangoon. I’ve read other reviews that say don’t order the cashew chicken– and it’s true– the cashew chicken is not good, mushy cashews and the sauce is wrong.(Which is disappointing since it’s one of my favs) — get basically anything else.

Ordered change last night. The egg drop soup is my favorite in he area for sure. I freakin loved it! Salty but not overly and no mushrooms. Wish they had scallions in it or green onion. I got a small order of the Peking raviolis. There are four or five of them. They come in the tiniest box and they are very good. I got mine steamed because I always worry where I go and get fried it’ll just be a ton of Grease. I also got the scallion pancakes which were delightful. Slightly crispy but still soft. I was a huge fan of it. I ordered this via delivery on foodler and. They got here exactly and the time that was said in my confirmation email. Huge fan :)

Our Foodler account robot thinks we own stock in Chang’s House. It’s just good, cheap, fast and friendly Chinese food any time you want it. Greasy, sweet and tangy BBQ ribs — bone or boneless. Crab rangoons how you want them — crisply outside, creamy and crabby inside. Fat, flavorful Peking ravioli. My husband always gets one of the«combo» dinners, I’m partial to their list of specials, and we both love the Orange Chicken. it is always fast, always good, and there are always leftovers.

So satisfied with this place. Ordered delivery and the man who answered the phone was super pleasant and helpful. The food arrived well within the estimated delivery time and was hot. The general gaos chicken was way more spicy than I anticipated it would be(and I love spicy food), and for that reason I probably won’t order it again. Nonetheless, the food was good, the service was good, and I would definitely recommend this place if you need a Chinese food fix. :-)

Compared to the other Chinese take out places in thee area, this place descent(which is unfortunate). We ordered: 1 small portion of the spring roll… which ended up being 1 spring roll for almost $ 3 Chicken fried rice-had no taste or flavor Crab Rangoon-good Schezwah chicken(which is kung poa chicken)-flavorless and lemony, but better than other ones i have had in the city. It at least had realy chunks of chicken. Chow mein-pretty much false advertisement. No noddles… just broth, chicken, and onions. Weird texture and no flovor. Would not recommend.

I ordered over the phone in the midst of a snowstorm and they were so helpful! The man that I talked to was friendly, patient and just great. He said it would take about an hour and a half to get it delivered, which is totally understandable, but they came in about 45 minutes! Not to mention, the guy who delivered my food was all smiles despite the heavy snow and cold weather. I had such a great experience! I got the General Gao’s chicken with pork fried rice and boneless spareribs. It was still warm when I got it so I really appreciated the rapid delivery attempt. The chicken was good, a bit sweeter than expected. I only got maybe 7 pieces of chicken and was super disappointed, but it turned out to be a lot since they were big juicy pieces. And the rice was plentiful! A mistake on my part is that I didn’t know boneless spareribs were sweet… I didn’t like that very much, but my friend said it was good! So nothing out of the ordinary.

I still would give this three stars. But I recently looked at their menu online, and yes, they clearly denote the fact that their rice is EXTRA for almost all of their dishes. So you have to order rice and pay extra for it, which seems kind of, i dunno, lame… I still like it here though, it’s low-key, no-frills, chinese take out. Not great but not objectionable. Best when consumed while drinking. Crab rangoon large size will feed a family. So. Many. Rangoons.

food was okay– the sauces tasted good enough but left a filmy coat of oil in my mouth after eating. :(eek. i got an orange tofu, which would have been good only the tofu was over-cooked. i did like that they have steamed broccoli w/string beans, which was more fun that just broccoli. one note though is that the customer service seems quite good. i ordered through grubhub and forgot that entrees don’t come with white rice. when i called them to ask for an order, i didn’t have cash and offered to give them another card number when the guy who answered told me he wouldn’t charge us. he was really nice, so i do give that a thumbs up!

Sorry Chang, not planning on ordering from this House again… The garlic broccoli was edible but not that good, the Yu Hsiang style tofu was meh, the sweet and sour chicken was sub par, and the fortune cookies were stale. The crab Rangoon was good, as other reviewers noted, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the meal. Too bad.

Chang’s offers decent take-out and delivery. It’s nothing special, but it’s exactly what you’d expect from the standard, somewhat dive-y fast food joint. Portions are large for the price, and combination plates include enough variety to let you customize your sides, appetizers, and mains. I wasn’t impressed with the meat(super dark, with thick skin), but then again, my expectations weren’t high. At least crab rangoons are a winning dish. Tip: check out the the lunch specials. Low price tag, and more than enough food to last the day.
