Size selection poor. They have your size, to be sure. Just not in the shoe you want.
Customers have too many other options today. Over time, places like this will go by way of Circuit City.
Update: I ordered same shoe on Amazon for twenty bucks cheaper. Will arrive in two days. I know it fits because I already own that model/size.

«Can I help the next shoe lover in line, please?» is what the cashiers say when you check out of this massive shoe emporium. My answer: «Why yes… yes you can!» I have never been directly referred to as «a shoe lover» before. but after hearing it today I want to hear it again… and again!
I was just out meandering around Ford Road today so I stopped in to DSW. They had some great clearance deals! I got a pair of Rocket Dog stacked flip flops and a pair of snake skin platform sandals for less than $ 18 TOTAL! This was by far the most tidy DSW I can recall being in, and they had a crazy awesome selection of sale shoes and new arrivals.

They have alot of volume, but not quality.
You are better off combing Macy’s, Nordstrom’s or Parisian’s clearance racks instead of paying more for low-end shoes.
