The fish and chips were really good. Not greasy but crispy. Onion rings were very good. Battered… The black and bleu burger was very good! Great service, quick seating, big screen tv’s everywhere. Nice and casual.

The service was very poor. The hostess didn’t look up or acknowledge us when we entered, and our friends where seated for an hour without service before they finally decided to go get their own drinks at the bar. The waitress thought Seagrams was a beer… The soft pretzel sticks were edible but overcooked. The bathroom was a mess. To top off our experience another customer made a vomit trail behind our table to the bathroom, and they gave him a towel to clean it up.

My daughter’s meal was 10 minutes later than ours. The sandwich she ordered had the sauce and avocado she asked not to have on the sandwich. Then the manager offered a 25% discount on her meal! Our last time here

As I stated in my previous review, the food is good here, and they have a great selection of items to combine for lunch. However, the service has really been lacking this week. Waiting with empty cups and cold soup. They remedied the situation, but aren’t soups supposed to be stored hot? What are they doing, storing it in the fridge and microwaving each bowl? Jameson’s: you’re better than this. I know you can improve.

Service is sub par but as a go to for corn-beef and cabbage its a good place to go. It took so long to get served, it would be great to see the wait staff in a uniform of some kind. Overall okay food for a day I’m craving Irish cuisine.

Great food. Awesome décor and excellent service. I recommend the open turkey sandwich and a spruce Pilsner. Good combination. We will definitely put this restaurant in our normal rotation. Server was friendly and efficient. No complaints. Enjoy.

I had the grilled chicken pasta with gouda cheese Yummy! The bartenter that served me was friendly and the service was excellent. I have ate lunch there several times the price and portions are well worth it.

Tonight my brother-in-law and I ate at Jameson’s for the first and last time. I got the fish and chips and he got corned beef and cabbage. Irish pub: the corned beef was so dry it was drowned in a mustard sauce and I do mean drowned. The cabbage was brown as if it was left over from St. Patricks day. The carrots and potatoes were cold. The fish was adequate. I substituted onion rings for the chips and they were a bit soggy. The problems were too overwhelming to put on the young waitress, so we paid the(expensive) bill and left. Worst Irish food everrrrr…

I’ve been here a few times and the food is decent. Not bad, but not really good either. I had a great time on St. Patty’s Day, which is why I’m giving a four star rating. Bar is nice and well stocked. Plenty of variety in the food and drink department.

A wonderful Irish themed pub. The food selection is out of this world. They offer just about everything a tavern tuned pallet would crave. Draft beer selection is awesome as well. Service is kind and attentive. My fiancée, brother-in-law and I are quickly making Jameson’s our go-to spot on the weekends. We are eager to try everything on the menu!

1st visit for a meal. I ordered soup and sandwich. Had I known how amazing the soup was going to be I would have stopped right there. I had the chicken noodle soup, it had almost a chicken and dumpling quality to it without being as heavy. The noodles were big and fluffy and home made. I could eat this forever for the rest of my life! Oh yeah…, my sandwich was a Santa Fe chicken pita. I would have been raving about how wonder this sandwich was, but that soup was a tough act to follow. My hubby ordered the chicken pot pie. He said it was pretty good although he wished it had baked a little longer as he likes his crust to be more well done. All in all I can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely dinner at Jameson’s the other night. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, the food was tasty. Try the Irish Stew! Seriously though, our waitress was great. And for that matter, all of the employees we were helped by or talked with were amazing and friendly. Totally recommend.

My family and I moved to the area a little over a year ago. Having frequented only a few of the local establishments, we thought we would give Jameson’s a try. Based on this being one of the top rated restaurants in the Brighton area, we thought this would a good stop. Well, not so much. From the outside, the place looks really classy. Once inside, it’s a pretty typical Irish pub. The service was OK, no complaints. The food on the other hand, is only meh. Spinach artichoke dip was decent, but heavy on onions.(It comes with both chips and bread, which was nice.) I gambled on the Blackened Cajun tuna on the daily special menu and LOST. Completely cooked through. Well done. Really!!! I’m betting there is a high schooler in the kitchen that thinks tuna from his kitchen should look just like the stuff that comes out of a can. The wife had the prime rib(on special). Nothing special, other than I suspect it was a larger cut than the menu suggested. One kids had a burger. Looked pretty plain to me. The other had mac & cheese, which was probably the best deal of the night. Add one beer and one wine, and the bill came to $ 90(including tip). I’m glad we tried it, but we won’t be going back.

Onion soup very good, but bangers had off taste, kind of metallic. Corn beef not that good. Chewy. Guiness and Jameson with coffee fine.

Great service, but the food was no different than your average Applebee’s. I’d come here for drinks and nothing else.

Really great menu — so much to choose from and a great atmosphere — lots of Tvs for any games that may be on –everything an Irish pub should be! I’ve ordered the turkey Ruben, Cesar chicken sandwhich and the Greek salad — all delicious. The Greek salad actually blew me away! Wouldn’t expect a such a good salad at an Irish pub.

They’ve found the cure for sore throats! Now they jus need to market it to the medical community. Highly recommend the French onion soup. We also had the kids mac n cheese and a bacon and egg burger at our table. All the food was great and very decently priced! Service was attentive, although if we ask for food to go it should come towards the end of the meal, not with the food for here(especially if we ask for it that way). Also, a dress code for the staff and nicer looking menus would class this place up a little bit.

Excellent staff and ownership who care about what is important– creating a comfortable and friendly place to eat well prepared bar fare and a wide selection of reasonably priced libations. Excellent bloody Mary’s(I don’t usually order them) and good single malt selection. Daily drink specials and all NFL games shown through out the pub.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Costco with my wife. I saw the bar had a nice variety of Scotch and whiskey, but I wasn’t here to drink, so we took a look at the lunch menu. At first I was a bit concerned because their«signature burger» is topped with Velveeta. I decided to order the Reuben instead of a burger, and my wife got French onion soup and a shepherds pie. My wife’s entrée came with a salad which came out first, and then her soup, so I had to wait a while as she was eating before I got any food. She shared the soup with me which was the best I’ve ever had! I’m not normally a French onion soup kind of guy, but I’d order it here. My sandwich was huge and delicious. Lots of corned beef and the mottled rye bread was attractive and tasty. Her shepherds pie was excellent as well, but so much of it she had to box half of it up. We would definitely come back for lunch again. Next time I am coming to try out some of that Scotch!

Don’t let the odd location for an Irish pub throw you off — I’m not sure a suburban strip mall is the natural location for this type of place. Jameson’s is a restaurant, but it is also a pub which is dedicated serving alcohol. They have a substantial bar, with many on tap beer and even a cider offerings, at reasonable prices. Normally, I think of pubs being in more of a downtown area, a place you can walk to. So we stop in for dinner and we were not disappointed. Besides the beer selection, dominated by Guinness selections, they also had a couple of Michigan based options too. The place wasn’t that crowd for a Saturday night, maybe half full. They have a good sized menu, a blend of traditional pub offerings and typical restaurant offerings. Fish n chips seem to be a popular order, but I went with sheppards pie and the wife had a salad with grilled chicken. The sheppards pie was a good size, with the mashed potatoes on top of a mushroom and lamb stew. They did a good job with it.
