Had never heard of this chain before and gave it a shot. Sub was outstanding(Smokehouse Beef & Chedder). Alot of good flavor and juicy — though not enough to soak the bread. Cool atmosphere and a ton and a half of beverage choices. Will go again.

Not impressed with these subs at all. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from this sub shop because the 1st time I ate there they had just opened & I had hoped the«kinks» would be worked out by now. Not so! Subs are just average while being overpriced. I had the steak & cheese. Like an old commercial i asked, «Where’s the beef?» And cheese was virtually none existent. The chili I ordered was OK if you like the strong green pepper taste. Nope, I won’t be going back especially now that I know there is a Pot Belly Subs just down the street.

Came here again. While the steak and cheese subs are really good, why so expensive? If two cups of soup are $ 8.38 before tax… couldn’t they at least fill the cup up? :-(**will upload photo

Stopped here on the way home from up north. Always consistent. My wife loves their salads, always top notch. Pop machine was out of a few flavors, but workers very friendly.

Very good food. Much better quality and taste than subway or jimmie johns. Great atmosphere. Good to support the local firefighters. When I’m looking for a healthy food option on the run I always hit up firehouse subs.

First time in last Sunday night around 9 pm and I was super surprised on how awesome my sub was. I was expecting just a sub and got much much more ! Better than Jimmy John’s subway and the rest of them… already recommended firehouse to friends and family ! 5 *‘s here.

Firehouse never disappoints. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude, sandwich is always made in a timely fashion, and it ALWAYS hits the spot. For a fast food/chain it’s great quality food, and as a bonus you get to help the local firefighters.

First visit to this place. Stopped in at lunchtime on a Saturday. The place was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. No wait to order and the staff explained all the different subs for us. Food was delicious! We will be sure to eat here regularly. I had an Italian, very tasty. My husband had a steak and cheese, second only to Big John’s. Way better for than any other sub options in Livingston County.

Great Subs. I had the Hero sub 2 times in the last week. If I could, this would be my destination for lunch every day. The other offerings look great, ordering was simple, and the soda/pop machine is incredible. I never had fountain Vanilla Coke until today. I have been looking for something that isn’t Subway or Jimmy Johns. I think this place falls into the Quiznos category but MUCHBETTER.

Every time I come here I’m always amazed. This place is the best sub shop ever anywhere for all time. I promise you will never be disappointed

Great subs. Love the BBQ brisket. Basic condiments and veggies. Obviously firehouse theme inside. When you checkout they ask you to round up your total to the next dollar to donate to local firefighters which is a nice touch. Small combo with drink and chips is usually around $ 10

This is one of my favorite places to eat. One of the best subs there is the turkey bacon ranch sub! It is 150% better than subway, and 140% better than Jimmy Johns. You cannot go wrong with any sub here.

I had this place down south and I must say, I was extremely excited to see it show up in Michigan! The coca-cola freestyle machine is the best thing ever! Mix any kind of drink you can imagine! The subs are out of this world. I always get the italian, but every sub i have seen there looks delicious. My favorite sub place I have been to!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. The place is nice, clean and employees were very friendly. I ordered the brisket sub with baby rays BBQ and it was out of this world good. Love the digital futuristic coke machine. Overall food is way better then Subway, jimmy johns or tubbys. I wish they would expand to a few more locations. Next time I go there I’m trying the BBQ pulled pork sandwhich with coleslaw.

Great tasting subs! I ordered the N.Y. Steamer that combines a few different deli meats(pastrami, etc.) that total a full quarter pound, in addition to 2 full slices of cheese on a hoagie and then toasted. For the medium sub by itself, which was 8″ long, it was around $ 6.00 including tax. And while the quality is superior to a Tubby’s or Subway and offers a greater meat to bread ratio, I wasn’t as full as I would’ve been having ordered elsewhere and spending the same amount of money. That said, if quality and full flavor is the mark that Firehouse is trying to hit then they’re most definitely on target. What I loved was, the cool pop machine that has all flavors of pop in one crazy soda robot from the future, and the huge array of hot sauces you can try at no charge. All the sauces were all individually labeled according to hotness on a scale from 1 – 10 and they provide small cups and lids in case you want to take some with you. The store was bright and clean and the staff was very nice. This franchise’s owner, John, reached out to me to clarify some of the remarks I made that were incorrect and he was perfectly professional and polite and even offered to buy me lunch to win over my satisfaction. I can appreciate anyone who is as passionate about their customer base as he is so I upgraded my initial 3 stars to 4 for running a class act shoppe.

LOVE this place! Something different in the area and the subs are good. Cost is a bit more than Subway. Feel is fun and great for kids. Customer service is wonderful!!! POP machine is to die for!(Coke products) In a perfect world, they would have a drive through! They supply an array of hot sauces to suit whatever, if even, your fancy. Many choices of subs to choose from and will custom however you like. Meals come with chips, a pickle, beverage and your sub, of course! Oh, and did I say the POP machine is awesome??? :) Been there many times and every time I am pleased.

I was very impressed with the service, atmosphere, and quality of food at Firehouse Subs. I’d never been to one, and I didn’t have very high hopes in the new sandwich shop in Brighton. I’m glad I was proven wrong! When my husband and I walked in, the man behind the counter asked if we wanted to be walked through the menu. To humor him, I said yes. I’m glad I did. He did the whole story of the restaurant and pointed out the good subs. My husband was skeptical of the meatball sub after the awful meatball subs at subway. Eager to please, the employees gave him a sample meatball and a taste of one of the other sauces. My husband ended up ordering the meatball sub, and I went with the engineer(turkey, Swiss, mustard, & mushrooms held-the-mayo). The sub was warm and they used a very tasty/spicy(but-not-too-spicy) mustard on it. The bread was a darker variety with a sweet taste to it. The taste I had of the meatball sub was very good too(hard to even compare it to the yucky Subway one). The only thing I wish they had was other healthier side options. The only sides were chips and the only salad was entrée sized. The restaurant itself was clean and bright inside. I liked the focus on supporting real-life firefighters. The service wasn’t as fast as Subway or Jimmy John’s(you actually take a number and are seated to wait for your sub), but I thought it was a small price to pay for the high-quality feel of the place. One of the things I liked best about the restaurant was its touch screen pop machine. I’d seriously go here every day(maybe several times a day) just for pop if I worked nearby. I drink diet, and they had so many options for me: Diet Coke, Diet Caffeine Free Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite Zero, Diet Barq’s, Diet Dr. Pepper, and I’m probably missing some. Best of all, each variety had a sub-menu with flavor additions. Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper? Peach Sprite Zero? Raspberry Diet Coke? Yes, please! There were so many options, and all of the ones I tried were good. My husband had to haul me away from the machine. I’m not a huge sandwich shop person, but I think we’ll definitely go back here again. It’s not our usual date-night fare, but it was a surprisingly good quicker lighter option for the days when we don’t have time/desire for full sit-down service.

I’m pretty sure this is the first and maybe only FIrehouse Subs in Michigan. Which would explain why everyone was so attentive and friendly. First off I’m no stranger to Firehouse Subs. When I was in college, in Florida, there was one right around the corner. Anytime I had extra money this is where I would go. I saw a news story on this place a while ago and mentioned it to my bad ass girlfriend. I hadn’t been in years and really wanted to go. Low and behold my birthday comes around and this is one of my first surprise stops. COOL! When we walked in the employees, all of them, welcomed us. It had been at least five years since I had last been so I had to take a minute and look at the menu. I settled on an Italian and we placed our order. I got a combo and noticed a crazy futuristic soda machine. It had a touch screen! What am I in the fucking future? Yes! The year. 2012. After getting over the machine I chose the fresh brewed Sweet Tea on the counter to the left. It was good. Not the best but just sweet enough to enjoy. Like every Firehouse Subs there’s a hot sauce bar. Each bottle of hot sauce contains a hotness rating by number. Even though I never used any of the sauces I always thought this was a cool thing they did. We sat down and shortly after our food arrived. My Italian sub was warm, crispy but not too crispy bread and best of all just made. If Jimmy Johns and Potbelly had a baby Firehouse Subs would be the best way to describe it. I really enjoyed it. I know there are tons of Sub sandwich shops but I really hope FIrehouse catches on. It’s better than shitty ass Subway. Seriously, Subway is NOT fresh. Their meat is pulled from a sealed plastic bag, you can do that at HOME! Anyways if you’re in the area, it’s probably a place you’ve never been. Four stars for good subs and great service. A young lady even came out and threw our trash away for us! What? Was is this the Ritz? :)
