My friends had the garlic hot wings, which i sampled, and they were fantastic. I had the bacon cheeseburger and loved it. They recently started carrying local craft beer on tap and they all go down smooth. The bar itself is a bit of a dive, but still nice. Out waitess was a sweetheart. Will be back of I’m in the area again.

Great neighborhood bar with friendly bartender and Guinness on tap. It’s pretty quiet on a Sunday night, but really hopping on a Friday or Saturday night!
The bar has 2 pool tables, jukebox and patio. They have drink specials and a limited bar menu of the essentials, with a renowned green chili for their chili cheese fries!

I went in, sat down, bar tender said she’ll get to me in a moment, after she carried a tray of at least 10 drinks to a group, she came back did some more things behind the bar, and 8 minutes later, she still hadn’t asked me what I wanted for a drink, so I got up from the bar and left. There were maybe 20 people in the place and 5 at the bar. How hard is it to ask me what I want to drink and not keep me waiting?

We were so excited to try out Jerry’s for our girl’s night dinner & drinks since they had been advertising nightly dinner specials. Wrong! We walked in and if we had been in a movie scene, the music would have stopped and crickets would have been chirping. It was evident that we weren’t welcome there as we didn’t fit the «regulars» look. One girl even glared at us as we were attempting to sit down in a booth. If her eyes could have spoken they would have said «don’t even think about coming in here, let alone sitting in that booth!» Needless to say, we turned right around and walked out. We were SO disappointed. I’d say I’d try again but I don’t have my concealed weapons permit yet in order to protect myself!

Definitely a local, neighborhood bar with a friendly feel. Came in for the $ 5 lunch special which includes a beer. Happy hour goes until 7, so that’s later than a lot of other local bars.
A mellow place to hang out with that old timely bar kind of feel. Very relaxed. The drink specials were also the best around so check the board as I think they change daily.

Jerry’s is the quintessential local bar, the kind of place I grew up in, (yeah, my mom was a cocktail waitress). It’s what I call a slot bar, because it’s jammed into a space in one of those old buildings that are 16 feet wide and 50 feet long.
Great happy hour, 4 – 6, M-F, twofers on your first beer AND shot, so I always get a Corona and a Bullshot, and that makes it TWO Coronas, and two bullshots, yeeha. Linden, the owner, and his wife Mary are very nice people, and do their best to make it a friendly place that welcomes everybody. Free food during happy hour, usually hot wings, but I had BBQ beef sammies the last time I was there, and it’s usually tacos on Fridays. They just started a $ 2.99 ribeye special, but I can’t remember what night it is. If it’s tonight, I’m gonna go down and check it out.
Excellent local business that I’ve never felt bad about spending my money at.
