Awesome, and I’m not impressed by celebrity endorsement. This place is the real deal. Big cabbage buns, cabbage cut in house. Not the cheapest but crazy good.

Had a great experience here, everyone was friendly and caring. They even made sure that my toddlers burger was cooled off for her. We tried several variations and they were all good, as well as the soup, that day it was potato. Cool little place off the beaten path, check it out for sure if you are in the area!

Awesome Lauer-Kraut burger. It has fresh hamburger, cabbage, onion and Lauer-Kraut in homemade bun. Going to take home a German Sausage wrap and a hot dog wrap to try later.

Such yummy burgers! It’s small, but quaint and it hits the spot. The service is friendly and I hear the green bean soup is amazing, I will have to go back to try that!

Everyone is so sweet… got to meet the owner too! What a little gem of a place in Brighton… will definitely be back! Love that the menu is so limited… makes for easy ordering! Plus it’s all delish!

The Lauer Krauts truck at Prospect Sound Bites in Longmont had the longest line of all the trucks so we had to try it. It’s pretty good, solid and filling. We just had the original which was enough for both of us. The pickle was the star of the show for me, but homemade-tasting sauerkraut was great, too

I had the Jack Kraut Burger… Underwhelming and a serious lack of meat. The green bean soup was watery with odd shaped dumplings inside. The best thing I tasted was my daughters hot dog wrap. The service was OK, place is really small. The food needs work though.

Lauer Krauts is one of my favorite stops in the Denver area. The food is always good, and it just has a neat little small town vibe. The Kraut burgers are very enjoyable and very similar to the cabbage rolls I grew up eating. The only difference is the honey mustard they make is like magic sauce… its greatness! The soups are enjoyable as well. The food is very good, but the people are probably even better. You’re always met with a smile, served quickly, and they treat you like your part of the regular family. When back in my old home of Brighton, LK’s is a regular stop!

This is just a fun place with good food. The Kraut Burger is terrific — add their honey mustard sauce and its greatness. We moved from the area 20 years ago and it’s a regular stop when we are back in town. The owner and staff are really good people. If you’re jonesing for something unique, come to Lauer-Krauts.

I had the jack combo with green bean soup and a side of bread pudding. It was all absolutely ahhhh-mazing! I’ll add that when we returned to work our efficiency and productivity doubled! Also, I speak 3 other languages now and I’m almost positive is because of the bread pudding…

My Mom used to make Kraut Burgers when I was a kid and don’t tell Momma but these are just as good as Mom makes. Last time I was here I had the cheesy veggie soup and it was so amazing that I would drive the 50 miles for it.

This was my first time going here and it is delicious! I got The Jack and clam chowder soup and my husband got The Jack and the German Sausage Bowl. It was all very good! Tiny little place in Brighton and I noticed they have a large collection of VW bugs inside which is cool. Looks like a little hotdog place if I had to compare to something. The only thing I would say is I couldn’t see or taste the cheese in mine but it was in there for sure I wish they used more cheese.

The hubby ordered the American krautburger and I ordered the Perry’s special. Perry’s special was very good-German sausage cooked in dough, smothered with chili, cheese, sauerkraut, and onions-but the chili had way too many beans for my taste. Little did we know… krautburgers are the Colorado version of what we Nebraskans call runzas. Runzas will always be at the top of my list. But kraut burgers are now a fairly close second! Although we were sharing our meals, the mister got the majority of the krautburger and I was jealous! The homemade honey mustard was delicious too. The service was super fast and the staff was extremely friendly! If we didn’t live hundreds of miles away, this would certainly become a go-to lunch spot for us.
