Very friendly staff and super delicious food. My family and I love going here for breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla is delicious!

Food is good. I got the corn beef omelette. Service and atmosphere was not as great. Wish there were more options as well. I wanted to get tomatoes slices instead of toast because I am gluten free and they wanted to charge me $ 1… No where else I have been charges a difference

I was very happy to return to Brighton after being away for several years, and finding this gem. The fish and chips were excellent. The batter wasn’t too heavy. There is also a poached option. The poached eggs on an english muffin were also excellent.

My grilled fish was good, kids meals good and liked the«chicken planks» tasting tenders. Fair prices. Gyro dry but I warned her not to order. Wait a tad long and chairs need reupholstering. Will update my rating based on the next meal.

The fish and chips are great! Nice and crispy, not oily. The atmosphere is that nice and quiet downtown feel. If you’re looking for beer or wine they don’t sell that anymore according to the sign out front, but there’s a brewery just across the street.

Lynn’s Café was a nice, clean small-town choice for a quick and hearty breakfast. During a recent business trip to adorable Brighton, MI, our vendor suggested Lynn’s to fill our bellies with good food for not a lot of coin. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was ample, free parking, and that there wasn’t a wait on a weekday morning(although I’ve heard the wait can grow long on weekends). While Lynn’s has a «typical» greasy spoon/diner vibe(in a good way), the interior is actually very spic-and-span, clean, and modern. I like the exposed brick walls, partially open kitchen, and large flat-screen TVs. The menu was very extensive, offering all of the typical breakfast favorites, along with some very creative specials. They also have a nice selection of lunch items, as they’re open until 2PM each day. I opted for one of the special omelets of the day, which was the«Mexican Omelet,» stuffed with hearty chili, tomatoes, onions, cheddar cheese, and prepared to my liking with egg whites for only $ 1 more. Served with my huge omelet was a hefty portion of expertly-crafted hash browns, and some of THEMOSTDELICIOUS cinnamon raisin bread I’ve ever had — we’re not talking some thin, lame Pepperidge Farm junk, this was freshly-baked, thick, busting with cinnamon bread! Best of all, the coffee was strong enough, fresh, and hot, and my big breakfast cost me no more than $ 12! My colleagues couldn’t resist ordering the special French Toast of the day, which was a «Captain Crunch» take on French toast, so it was that same thick, hearty, fresh bread encrusted with Cap’n Crunch cereal — even a half order is plenty, but for just a dollar or so more, you can double up for a full order. The bacon we ordered on the side was crispy and perfectly done. Our waitress was friendly, the prices were great, and the food was hearty, homemade, and fresh!

This is our go to spot for breakfast all day long! They are very friendly with relatively good service depending on the day and server. Their breakfast selection is very good with a few unique options. The baked oatmeal is so good and warms you from the inside out on a cool day. Prices are decent as well. Enjoy this very much.

In short, awful. I ordered the perch and chips since I had heard it was good. A huge disappointment for $ 13.99 I’d expect a fair amount of fish. What came out were three heavily breaded, vastly over-cooked filets. I cut the first piece and it was all bread. The rest wasn’t any better. Skinny filets with hardly any meat. All I could taste was the breading and grease. If this is what they are famous for, wow! That’s a real low bar they’ve set. Failure one. Secondly, the dinner roll was stale. How hard is it to serve fresh bread? Failure two. We had a party of 7 and were seated at a row of tables in the front. This wasn’t an issue until more people started coming in. How this place is this busy given the quality I saw is beyond me. Anyway, there is no waiting area. As a result people found space and waited where they could. Have you ever had a family dinner out where other people waiting for tables were literally standing right behind you? We couldn’t really converse with one another. I almost asked a complete stranger to pass me the ketchup since he was closer to it than anyone in my family. Failure number three. So there is the long version. Obviously we won’t be going back. There are a lot better restaurants in downtown Brighton. In fact, I’d say most of them are probably better. I actually left dinner hungry so I went home and had a sandwich. Should have done that in the first place.

Just had the Fish and Chips for lunch, EXCELLENT! Convenient to park, busy but efficient service. Casual no bussel atmosphere and very reasonable check. Wish I lived in the area.

I’m a fan but. .. I’ve had two bad experiences lately, both on a Monday, and I hope the owners will work it out. We waited over an hour for the sliders. There was one waitress and just a few customers. All three orders of sliders were hard, charred, and much smaller than the little buns. The menu says grilled onions, but they came with cold, chopped onion. We didn’t eat much of them and didn’t make a formal complaint but asked what the extra long wait and burned food was about. The answer was something about not being prepped on Sunday nights. So, no more Monday’s for me. I love the Eggs Benedict and the fish & chips. We usually have very good service and food. They have a small bar and daily specials. I noticed wine, but not sure what the other bar items are.

Stopped by here for breakfast since my usual go-to breakfast place stops serving at 11am(PS: this is a horrible practice). Since the Brighton Farmer’s Market was going on, I figured I’d people watch, grab some breakfast, then go shopping at the market. The atmosphere of the place is a semi industrial-ish with the concrete floors. the tables and chairs are on the cheaper end, though. It didn’t really turn me off or anything. What was irritating was there was a sign saying, «Please wait to be seated» and after 2 – 3 minutes, no one even looked in my direction. I finally approached a waitress who was bussing a table and asked where I should sit. I was finally seated then. My waitress was cheerful and pleasant. I had to laugh when she overfilled my coffee and she ran around acting like it was a criminal activity. It was spilled coffee, it didn’t get on my food or me, so it’s not a big deal. The menu is full of nice breakfast creations. There are about 3 – 4 different kinds of eggs benedict, too. I settled on the eggs argyle which is eggs over smoked salmon, over a grilled tomato, over an english muffin. It was topped with hollandaise. They were a bit skimpy on the hollandaise, but the dish was really good and they were pretty generous with the salmon(which is likely the most expensive bit). However, the real TRAVESTY were the potatoes. They offer two types: the american fries, or the hash browns. I asked my waitress which was better and she steered me towards the american fries, which was supposed to be a baked potato diced up and crisped on the flat top. Whomever cooked these fries must’ve had a personal vendetta against potatoes; these were crunchy, dry, and pretty inedible. Even after a cursory dousing in hot sauce, salt, pepper, whatever extra hollandaise I had… they were still awful and inedible. I kept trying to find a piece which wasn’t cooked to death and was fruitless. The service is spotty, some aspects of the food are good, and the menu is diverse and willing to serve breakfast past whatever arbitrary cut-off time other places has. I’d go back to give it another chance. When I do, I’ll update you.

This is a great family owned business in downtown Brighton. The owners and their children are dedicated and hardworking people who care about nothing more than ensuring you have an enjoyable time in their restaurant. The food is incredible, fresh, and has the great homemade taste. The Café’ itself is a small family diner style that allows you to have an intimate conversation with your group. They do their best to accommodate groups of all sizes. Lastly, they’re known for their fish. They’ve done an amazing thing bringing Detroit’s Famous Scotty Simpsons fish receipt to Brighton — you’ll find nothing comparable. The Nova Scotian Cod is flown in twice a week and picked up fresh — never frozen, allowing for it’s impeccable taste. I would recommend it to everyone and anyone in the area to give it a try! You’ll love it.

Love this place. It’s nothing fancy but the service is friendly and the food is good. A perfect little restaurant to grab a bite. We usually go for the fish fry but have enjoyed the occasional breakfast too although the place is usually a madhouse in the mornings.

We went for the Fish Fry — which they did a good job, but it looks more of a breakfast place. It was busy, almost every table had a customer and service suffered — waiting on the kitchen. Basic menu — combinations of Fried fish(Basically with fries or baked potato). Wine and beer — which is enough. I would be interested to see how the handle breakfast. A bit of an odd location — off the main drag amongst the the various parking lots.

Went for breakfast for the first time. I wanted to try somewhere new. I had walked by this place many many time while in Brighton and always wanted to eat here. i found our new sunday morning hangout when were notat the cabin. The wait staff was very friend, the menu had many different options for other than the standard breakfast joint. The food came out quickly and hot. With so many things on the menu we are planning on going back … They serve beer and wine also… I wouldhighly recommend giving it a chance…

This place is good. Food was good, service was good. We went in for breakfast and I had the eggs Benedict. I liked it. It wasn’t anything to write home about, but decent. My wife had a veggie omelet and added onions to it, they weren’t grilled at all, it was very hard for her to eat. The place really needs to change their chairs. Most of them are ripped and being held together with tape. Asked for hot sauce, I got a bottle that had its label ripped off and looked old. When I opened it, the inside of the cap was disgusting. They need to throw this bottle out
