Finally returned. Went on a Thursday night at 8. Not very busy. It took about 15 minutes to get a drink. I am not sure what was going on s few tables over but it sure interrupted our service. Dinner for two took well over an hour. Food was good but the service make it tough to want to go back

Good selection of beers on tap wine & cocktails. The tomato basil soup was yummy my husband had a delicious Reuben with sauerkraut(your choice) & my salmon was ok — but I’m gonna stick with fish & chips, salmon burger a few other faves … All in all nice night out in downtown Brighton

Third time here since it changed from stone fire bistro. Last visit I ordered the lake perch and was disappointed. It was supposed to be lightly pan fried but what I got was a soggy mess. I always give a place a chance to redeem themselves so came back Friday night. Decided to stick with what I ordered the first time which was a mini pizza and a salad. The salad was the man cave salad and it was huge with salami, turkey and fresh mozzarella. Very good. I ordered the Sicilian mini pizza and it was very good, although I think they put olive oil on the plate first which made the bottom seem a little greasy. My wife enjoyed her meal which was crabbed stuffed fish of some kind. Liked the atmosphere. There was a woman singing and playing guitar in the corner. My only complaint is I ordered a Miller Lite draft and it was flat.(So was the next one)

This place sadly gets Worse. I TRULY wish to see them succeed ! They have a great location and fab interior but the food us deplorable! SO disappointed! You can tell they are buying lower quality meats I ordered the ribeye which was extremely thin ordered medium rare was way overcooked and seasoned like it was a backyard barbecue with Lawreys lemon pepper overdose!!! My husband got the half rack of ribs which was very good but the cheesy potatoes were literally the kind my grandma makes at Christmas time with the shredded hashbrowns extremely greasy and overly cheesey yuck!!! Who has that on a restaurant menu anyway? We wish you all the best. Will check back once a year but you need to get a real chef and invest in your business!

Good selection of draft beer for happy hour. I thought the atmosphere and music was great. I only had beer and an order of the fried pickles, so I can’t say much about the food other than the fried pickles were delicious! The two different ranches I had with them were excellent, and possibly home made. I’d definitely come back to The Main Crossing again and try more of their beverages and food!

Food was fine but not extraordinary. We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks and appetizers. Drinks were great — well made. But the service waned as they got busy. Took a half hour before we could get her to bring the tab. We would have drunk more with better service. Not a bad place, but not worth going out of your way for.

I like the atmosphere here, although it could easily be made even better. I got the ribs and shrimp. Ribs were very good, but the BBQ sauce was average at best. Actually, kind of bland. Also, I didn’t care for having the BBQ sauce on the shrimp. The shrimp was not very flavorful. I’d recommend spicing the shrimp up, grilling it and leaving the BBQ sauce off, unless the sauce is greatly improved. My last criticism is the house wines. I got the Cabernet and my guest got the chardonnay. Both were below average, even for house wines. Very disappointing. When this location was Stone Fire Bistro. they server a house wine called Sycamore Lane. Excellent wine, excellent value. Fine tune a few things and this would be a dynamite restaurant. As it is now, it seems the ownership in just going through the motions.

This is the first time we have been here in years. We were very impressed with the menu. Great selection and prices! Our meal was fantastic. Try the pistachio encrusted salmon with the cheesy potatoes! ! The atmosphere is very, very nice. This place needs more kudos. Our server, Brandon was very knowledgeable. We were very impressed and we will be back!

The food is outstanding. Varied and complete menu. Had a milk stout and it was awesome. The owner, Melissa, is a gem. I need to get here more often. Love this place!

My husband and I went to dinner at Main Crossing yesterday, on a Wednesday evening. We sat where we could watch the Tiger game outside. It took 15 minutes to get a glass of Chardonnay and a Bud Light, after the waitress gave us the menu. The $ 7 wine glass was barely half full. We asked for the Wi-Fi password and she kept forgetting each time she came back past the table. None of the Wi-Fi passwords were correct anyway and no one in the restaurant knew the correct one. Not a big deal, but it’s a simple thing to know. We ordered the flatbread appetizer, which took a long time, but was delicious. For entrees, my husband ordered the special, a chicken parmesan sandwich with fries, and I ordered the vegetarian wrap with chips. Both were excellent. We asked for salt and pepper. The waitress either forgot or they couldn’t find any, because I had to go inside and ask after 10 minutes. She was just standing at the hostess station. There were only two long tables full inside the restaurant, but almost all the two-person tables outside were full, so maybe they were short-staffed. The two people at the table next to us also complained about the service and their waiter gave them their first round of drinks on the house. Unless we hear the service improves, we won’t be going back, which is a shame because the food was very good.

Just a hair too trendy for my tastes on the drink menu, but a nice selection on the menu. Wife and I had the Herbivorous Lagsana, which was nicely done. Don’t leave the cheese melted to the plate!

Very nice atmosphere right in downtown Brighton. We had dinner on a beautiful Friday evening and sat outside. Wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. I ordered the Philly Phil sandwich and my wife ordered the three cheese tortellini. Before dinner arrived we both had salads which were decent sized. The salads were fresh and crisp. Along with that came the bread which was VERY good! It was small pieces which were salt encrusted — they were delicious, we had to ask for more(which we received quickly). My dinner was very tasty, although a little hot with the jalapeño that came on it. This seemed like a weird combo, I would probably not put the jalapeño on the sandwich, they didn’t seem to match the rest. My wife’s pasta was also very tasty. Food was far better than we expected, the best we have had in Brighton so far. Also prices were VERY reasonable — about half that of the Brighton Bar and Grill. We will definitely go back!

Second visit to this bar/restaurant over the course of 6 months and I will say they have maintained consistent standards for service and food quality. Sat at the bar for a drink and light meal, Kendra made an excellent Hendricks martini and made a solid recommendation on the tomato basil soup and naan bread app. They offer 5% off for cash payments, which is in itself an incentive to hit the ATM before coming in. One of Brighton’s better bar/restaurants!

My family really enjoyed our meal here. It was a Saturday and seemed a bit slow. We had a nice area to ourselves near a fire place. Our server was terrific. Our food was better than expected. We really have no complaints. 5 star review Visit on 8÷22÷15− Last night I discovered why this restaurant is always empty. It was 630 on a saturday night and it was maybe ¼ full. I took my dad here thinking it would be a great place to relax over dinner and drinks. I had not seen him in nearly a year. I was disappointed that we wasted our meal and time together here. We ordered cocktails(margarita, moscow mule, manhatten). Each one of us looked at each other after the first sip. They were not made properly. Each one tasted watered down like a college bar. The Manhatten was nearly colorless. The margarita tasted like watery sour mix. My margarita during our previous visit was excellent but not today. The clam chowder was so salty and barely edible. My husband ordered fish and chips. It was a plate full of french fries with two little fish pieces on top. Probably four large servings of fries. It was very comedic. If this wasn’t our meal together with my dad I would have sent the drinks and soup back. That always ruins a meal and I didn’t want that for my dads visit. The only reason i left 2 stars instead of one is because of our previous experience at the restaurant. We won’t be back though. I really hope they make some changes. It is an excellent location for a restaurant. It’s too bad the meal and drinks are so bad.

I will give this place 2 stars based on food taste and quality only. I will knock 3 off for super slow service and really weird«policies» which made me never want to go back here — no matter how good the food is! My mom and I went here on a Saturday for dinner. She ordered the turkey Ruben which specifies your choice of sauerkraut OR coleslaw(weird because a Ruben should have both!) She asked if she could have a little of both to which the server promptly replied«no we can’t do that, we only have two chefs in the back». Seriously?! She didn’t ask to have them carve the sandwich into a unicorn or something! Also — they serve fresh bread but only if you ask for it! Place is really strange…

The staff was very friendly, the calzones are the best. My husband had the ribs and said they were so/so. My son had the kids Mac and Cheese and it was huge! My chicken pesto pizza was good… the pesto flavor was great! Many tables had full size pizzas and they looked delicious… will go back again for sure. The seating was comfortable, decoration was nice and staff was outstanding!
