This is one of the better places in Brighton, but I hadn’t been in a while. My scallop and prawn angel hair with saffron cream sauce was congealed, the two scallops and three prawns overcooked, and there wasn’t a single thread of saffron in the sauce. The plating was sloppy. On the plus side, the scallops were dry packed so they did NOT have thw nasty metallic taste that wet packing causes. My wife had the coriander tuna, it tasted pretty good to me and she was happy. The service was pretty good, but I’m really getting tired of these upscale places handing you a box when you want to take leftovers with you. If I had done that at any of the places I worked I’d have gotten chewed out by the owner; Good Sevice 101 is to say«I’d be happy to box that for you», take in into the back, and return with it all boxed up.

Great service and atmosphere. Got the burger that has been talked about so highly, but the top of the bun was huge while there was essentially no bottom bun. I cut my burger in have and only a quarter of that half had a bottom bun so I had to use my fork to eat the rest. For that mistake I give it 4 stars, otherwise everything else was delicious and the staff were very friendly!

Unilocal says a 5 star rating is as good as it gets… and for me this restaurant fits that bill. The food is outstanding and you can tell it’s prepared with pride. The service demonstrates the staffs commitment to excellence. And, the owners are proud of what they have created and they should be !! Absolutely my favorite restaurant !!

One of my favorite restaurants in Brighton! Been here many times for events and to dine in! The owners and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Very happy the Gluten Free options they have!

I like this place quite a bit but it’s always busy. I guess that’s a good thing. The food is super good. I can’t complain about that. There service can be a little more attentive but tother than that the location is amazing. Food amazing. Great for families or a romantic evening. Pot Roast is super good. Try it. Enjoy!

Simply amazing food, drinks, staff, service and hospitality. The owners are so sweet as well, always nearby, speaking to all of the guests and the staff too. Just an excellent place to go in the already great city of Brighton.

I’ve eaten here many many times and have never been disappointed. I don’t know anyone who’s eaten here that doesn’t love it. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. Black and blue salad is my fave, pot roast is amazing, chicken provolone sandwich is so so good! Drinks are good as well. Went there today for my bday lunch and learned they switched the bday dessert from carrot cake to some brownie dessert, but at my disappointment, they brought me the carrot cake which was super nice of them. I don’t even like carrot cake, ONLY at Brighton Bar and Grill! The frosting is to die for and it’s big enough for 4 ppl to share. Amazing! If you’re in the area, this is the place to go. You’ll be glad you did.

I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad(which I believe was a small/side/appetizer salad) with a tomato bisque soup that was advertised as a SOTD. The waitress brought me out asparagus soup(not even on the menu nor advertised as a SOTD), so I explained to the waitress the mistake and she told me that the reason the soup was green was because it was a certain type of tomato they used. I proceeded to take several more bites of the soup and continued to explain to her that it was indeed asparagus soup. I’m a vegetarian, so one could say that I know the difference between tomato and asparagus in a taste comparison… She did eventually offer me tomato tarragon soup(which is a regular menu item, and was the normal red color one might imagine a tomato soup to be), and it was tasty. As for the salad, very good! Fresh, tasty and plentiful for it being a small/side/appetizer salad. I would definitely get it again, should I ever come back to Brighton Bar and Grill. I chalked the whole soup experience up to the waitress being poorly trained, but otherwise, it was a pleasant dining experience with good quality food. I would recommend Brighton Bar and Grill to others for a nice evening out.

This is where my husband and I go in Brighton when we want a dining experience we know we can count on. It’s also where my husband took me for our first date. ;) We love this place, the food is consistently good, and it has special meaning for us.

Stumbled on this restaurant while trying to find some place to have lunch before meeting friends that evening. The food, staff and atmosphere were wonderful. For an appetizer we had the Calamari Fritti and it was amazing. the calamari was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter and pepperoncini added an amazing flavor. During our vacation we ended up going back and it was just a good the second time. The pot roast was so flavorful and I wish I lived closer so I could have it again. For dessert, if you order the carrot cake you will not be disappointed, just know it will take more then two people to put a dent in it.

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time on Saturday. We tried to get in a few months back, but the wait was over an hour and decided to come back another time, and I’m glad we did. Waited about 15 min for a table, not bad. Drinks were very good. The atmosphere was very cozy. Nice dim lighting, cozy booths. We had the crab cake as an appetizer. Full of crab! Not a bunch a breading, I was very pleased with this. I had the Mediterranean Cavatappi with grilled shrimp. It was delicious. Light but full of flavor. My boyfriend went with the Steak Benedict, as suggested by our server, he loved it! Are every last bit off his plate. We throughly enjoyed our experience here and will be going back soon. Great place for date night, special occasions, or whenever you’re looking to «dine».

First impression — Nice, inviting & quaint. The waiter is very courteous. Sangria is not on the menu but they will make it. The spicy sausage/noodle soup is delicious. New York strip steak was amazing with roasted potatoes, carrots and string beans. Trying the carrot cake. I have my favorite, so we’ll see how this stacks up. Carrot cake is my favorite desert. Only Saltgrass Steakhouse has better. The name of this place does not do justice to the quality and care of the service and food. Probably the second best meal I’ve eaten out(see Root Cellar Café — San Marcos, TX for the best).

Visited this sweet gem this past Friday. Good was great, wine was delicious and the service was outstanding. I ordered the slow roasted pot roast with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Amazing. Came with a beautiful gravy that melted in your mouth. Ordered a glass of their moscato rosa, much needed after a long day with a toddler. Great Sri k selection with very reasonable prices. Our server was a younger man in his mid 20’s and was very attentive. He even brought my little boy crackers to snack on. My friend and I and our two little boys sat out on the patio, which is the way to go for sure! I highly recommend this place for an upscale lunch or dinner or a special celebration.

We’ve been eating fairly regularly at BB& G since moving to Brighton 18 years ago and up until recently, have always had a good, if not great, experience. The food is usually somewhere between Good and Very Good, but the past few times it was just ok. Very disappointing, although the service was decent. Decent has pretty much been our experience with service in Michigan across the board, except for where it’s bad. Admittedly, having lived in several large metropolitan areas here and in Europe, we are spoiled when it comes to restaurants. Up until the last couple of times we’ve been here I probably would have given 4 stars, but both of our recent visits were really disappointing, the food just wasn’t even close to great. I had trout which came with a black-bean & corn relish and a red pepper sauce. Good idea, but the relish had super strong onions which totally overpowered the delicate taste of my somewhat overcooked trout. The red pepper sauce was another good idea that just didn’t work. It was far too spicy, which, again, just completely overpowered the trout. The combo probably would have worked with a stronger meat like pork, but definitely did not with the trout. My hubby had the goat cheese ravioli, which was ok, but not great. Overall, just a disappointing visit. We’ll probably go again and if it stays the same, regretfully cross BB&G off our restaurant list.

Calamari fritti is amazing and is coming home with me along with wilted spinach with salmon ideal with over sized carrot cake to go! I can’t get enough of this bar and grill. I hope to see you all there tonight!
