Applebee’s

I would give zero stars if I could. This restaurant has a weird smell right when you come in; the tables are not cleaned and when I rubbed it with a napkin there was a black substance on it. The food was atrocious. I had the penne pasta but it tasted horrible-​like the sauce had no taste and all I tasted was flour. The serving was terrible and was one of the worst experiences I had in a place called a RESTAURANT. I will never go to another place called Applebee’s again – worst experience and food I ever had and tasted. Definitely do not recommend going there. You’re going to regret it. I paid sixty dollars for an unflavorful, bland and horrible meal that was no bigger than a fist.

This particular Applebee’s is located just off the main street of Bristol Tennessee offering A great place for a late night gathering this location closes little after midnight however the service here is absolutely terrible the management is less than willing to acknowledge when the server mistakenly does not create a table or does not provide prompt service. However the food here is good the location is clean and there are quite a few deals going on at any given time. If service is it a dealbreaker for you then this is a good place to start.

after reading a few of these reviews we were very unsure about going to this restaurant. keeping this short we were 100% pleased with this Applebee’s and everything was perfect. service was fast and very friendly. didn’t have to ask for refills and food came out fast and hot and delicious. what more could a customer want!

I’ve been a few times to this Applebee’s — the food is average for Applebees. I’ve had great table service, with courteous waitresses. On several recent trips, I’ve had the misfortune of sitting at the bar and being served by the bartender, Dave. This guy is obnoxious, creepy, and unprofessional, even by Applebee’s standards. He came over to give one of his regulars a back rub and got a remark from his co-​worker at the bar about getting too close to customers. He then proceeded to give me an unsolicited back rub, I made it clear with body language and facial expressions that I was not happy with this. This is well beyond the limits of acceptable behavior from someone who has served you a couple of times.
Needless to say, I will not return to this Applebees as long as that joker Dave works there. I don’t care if I’m sitting at the table and not the bar, I don’t comfortable being in the same restaurant as him.

Been here several times but the last time we went the food was not all that good. The chicken was burnt and the fries were so greesy it was like they were coated with it. I normally like the food but when you have bad burnt marks on the chicken to the point of not being able to eat it… that’s not goo.

Up here in Maine, Applebees is where you take grandma and the kids. I found the Applebees in Bristol to be a fun place at night for grown-​ups to have a few drinks, a few laughs, and good times. I liked it so much that I went back and am looking forward to going there again when in Bristol TN next spring.

Food did not have much flavor. The service was not great and our waiter was only waiting on 1 other table besides ours.
