There really are no words to describe this place really. My fellow Unilocalers pretty much hit the nail on the head. I went there when they first opened and had a great experience as I sat at the bar and chatted with the friendly bartender, Joey. He wasn’t there when I returned and the quality seemed to have dropped drastically. I was forced to change my review due to the current relevance. The location is odd… on top of a very stinky apartment building? Strange. Wherever that bartender went, he had the right idea! This business is now CLOSED!

Natalia’s was bar none the absolute worst and most memorable meal I had in Rhode Island. From the moldy stench permeating the building to food it would be criminal to feed to prisoners to the ambiance of a retirement home or hospice… except for the kind and attentive service, Natalia’s had zero redeeming value. I couldn’t help but giggle throughout the meal at the sad ridiculousness of the experience, and it was all I could do to not laugh aloud when the uncomprehending waitress came by genuinely puzzled and asked our party of 8, «none of you are having seconds?»…Oh well, at least Santa was at the bar in case any of the kids in the room wanted to take pictures.

Oh man where do I start with this dump. Went there for Sunday brunch recently, and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. First of all the place smells like mold, and was dirty in general. The staff was disinterested, of the four front of the house people I did see maybe one looked like they had showered, they forgot coffee for half the table and when you asked for anything beside water it took 15 minutes even though the place was empty. it did come it looked like motor oil. Then the food, oh yes this is where the real fun begins. It was buffet style which included ham that clearly was taken out of a package and microwaved and smothered in some sort of syrup, shrimp scampi that had more butter and oil than pasta, a mystery hash that was mostly salt, the pancakes were cold, and the sausage had the consistency of a sponge. The best part was when I asked for eggs(they were empty figured they would be fresh) the«chef» came out to replace the pan and he was wearing sunglasses, with his pants around his a@&, and a sideways hat and drops a pan of scrambled eggs that looked like they were sitting on the counter for an hour in front of us. I gave up and had a bagel. It’s not cheap either, I believe it was 14.95 pp. The ONLY redeeming thing is the view. The health department needs to pay this place a visit or two, but by the time they get there the doors may be closed. Don’t waste your time or money.

Natalia’s is a little bit different, it’s on the 6th floor of a building that has apartments underneath it, so it might be a bit hard to find your first time going, but keep looking, it will definately be worth it. We went for my Birthday, my husband had called up and made reservations stating that it was for my birthday. When we got there, there was a birthday card on the table and our table was in the middle of the restaurant so we had an awesome view. We had fried calamari for an appetizer, and it was crispy and not chewy, and they serve both the rings and the tentacles. The«Lazzerini» was absolutely delicious, the meat was cooked perfect, and there was both lobster tail and claw meat on top, the newburg sauce on top was amazing. The fingerling potatoes were roasted to perfection. My only complaint was the broccoli was a bit overcooked. The staff came out with the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake singing Happy Birthday and they made a B out of puff pastry, a very nice touch. The service was impeccable, she never hovered, rushed us, or disappeared for long periods. The Chef, Natalie came out of the kitchen periodically to talk to all her guests. I was impressed and will be visiting this restaurant again soon.
