Menu is small and pricy. Came for Valentine’s Day. We waited an hour for our entrees — the steak and vegetables were almost cold and the potato was burning hot. :(

Great service. Greeter at door is mother of owner a represents the theme of this establishment. PROUD to have you as their guest. Artful food pairings with no wrong turn. Best app: Mac & Cheese balls. Veal Meatball Dinners are well proportioned and perfectly presented. Nice bar and bartender. Owner moves around but doesn’t hover over his team. 3 visits of perfect food. This stop is a blessing for Bristol. I hope our town supports his attempt to create a classy yet relaxed rest.

Went to one fifty with my fiancé and had rather low expectations. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was pretty decent I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was really tasty with a good amount of lobster meat in it… overall portions were good and tasty and we had a lovely time. Service was good also I will be going back for sure!

Went today to have lunch with my Dad for our holiday get together. Found a nice spot in the sun and enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. It was nice to see this restaurant jumping — very personable wait staff, fresh, high quality food with good sized portions. Loved loved loved the French onion soup! Dad said clam chowder was excellent as was crab cake(all crab no «filler») and the squid was really good as well… and I don’t do fish, but this I ate a couple of bites! My chicken with capers, artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce was delish! Dad had fish that was walnut encrusted and in some amazing looking sauce– also very high reviews. Side salad was also very good with perfect amount of balsamic house dressing. Add a couple of glasses of wine … I was expecting the bill to be very high, however was absolutely, wonderfully surprised at how do-able it was considering the amount of all different apps we got, soups, salad, multiple glasses of wine, and two lunch entrees. Bravo! Will be returning :-)

We have been here a few times and absolutely love it. The food has always been amazing and the amount you get will surely gift you with some leftovers to take home! The prices are very reasonable…$ 16 for lobster ravioli can’t be beat! I highly recommend the Strawberry Banana martini. Try not to fill up on the delicious bread and oil dip before your dinner. It is pretty addictive! Would recommend anyone to try this place out. Great service, great menu, great prices!

Nice atmosphere, perfect for business meals, all around good choices and service, so nice to have something besides pizza or casual chain restaurants to choose from. Worth a visit!

This place is OK. Some items are pricy but the menu does include more economical fare such as a tasty bisque and good French onion soup, salads and burgers. What you want to spend on drinks is up to you. Glass of Forestville wine, several choices, runs about $ 5. The place can be busy some nights but drop in for an early dinner around 6 and you will be immediately seated. Same at lunch time but after 2:30 or so, kitchen takes a break, but soup, salads available. Whether you get bread seems to be hit or miss. We are leery of getting one server who can be inconsistent but the busboy is more helpful. Yes, clientele tends to be over 65. And many seem to know each other, but who cares. The place is friendly overall. Décor is clean. For entertainment, look out windows where drivers stopped at red light can be amusing; many are texting or on cell phones or even drinking. It is Bristol. We are repeat customers and get by on a limited income, which says something about One Fifty!

Agree with others diners, uninspired décor lacked atmosphere. Food was bland portions small, drinks weak. Service(Chris) was top notch. Very old crowd!!!

So disappointed. Not at all the same standard as the Silo though operated by the same family. Limp overdone 3 sprigs of broccoli, tasteless watery talapia with plain burnt white bread crumbs, saturated with way too much rosemary. Annoying young women grabbing dishes as you take your last bite. Her arm reaching across your face to clear table repeatedly. Same old tired desserts. Cocktails good. Coffee good. Too expensive for lack of creativity.

The atmosphere was quiet. we went at 5 on a Tuesday so we didn’t have to wait for a table… the waitstaff and greeter were a lil blah but weren’t rude. Now to what matters the food. for an app I got the crab cake which was amazing… I got the 150 burger with a side of coleslaw and fruit for dinner which was equally amazing… the burger has an amazing chipolte sauce which adds great flavor with the bacon and cheese. u don’t have to add ketchup to this burger! I think it would of ruined it. my hubby had the veal marsala which he said was good too. we shared a dessert which was a mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich which was a great way to finish the meal. I wish I took one to go!

My boyfriend and I attempted to eat here Saturday night. When we walked in it looked like we’d interrupted a class reunion from 1930. Everyone was quite old and seemed to know each other. The person who said it looked like a senior center couldn’t have been more right. The owner came up to us glaring and simply asked«yes?» Not a particularly warm welcome but we weren’t ready to give up yet. He said it would be just a minute for a table. His mother then came up and started glaring at us and at the dining room. We could see empty tables that just needed to be cleared and what appeared to be the one waitress rushing around. The owner and his mom weren’t doing anything to help. Décor was dated and tacky and the place didn’t look terribly clean. After a few minutes being glared at by the door we decided we were not interested in continuing the uncomfortable experience and left. Don’t waste your time on this one.

Owners walk around to much and judge everyone. Average food. Chicken sandwich was plain. Ordered a Caesar salad and it came with a Caesar vinaigrette. Not ideal. Cheap wines. Asked for ketchup, never got it. Wine glass had someone else’s lip marks in it. We didn’t want to order entrees so they did not give us bread. Not worthy of another visit. Place won’t last.

One Fifty Central is located in downtown Forestville, in the same building where the«Garnish» restaurant used to be. On the outside, it looks like all they did was change the plastic faces on the electric signs, scraped the sticker for Garnish off the window, and stuck up their new one. Likewise, inside the place looks almost exactly the same. I don’t think they painted, the fireplace and the bar area look exactly the same, and I think they even have the same tables and chairs. Upon entering, we were seated almost immediately, even though the place was pretty full. The menu is just one page, but had several interesting choices. When the waitress came by she explained the specials, all of which sounded pretty tasty as well. She took our drink orders, and had someone bring us water. One thing I didn’t like about their menu is a lack of choices for sides. Everyone gets roasted potatoes and mixed green and yellow zucchini, unless something else is specifically mentioned on the menu. Another slight problem was that we had to wait for bread. We thought perhaps they were baking it fresh as they needed it, but when they finally did bring us the bread is was actually chilled as if just taken out of a fridge, not even pretending it was fresh by warming it in an oven. But it was nice and soft and tasty, and came with a dish of olive oil and spices for dipping. I ordered the Flank Steak, which comes with a chimichurri herb sauce, some Swiss chard, and the same roasted potatoes everyone gets. With that I opted for house salad instead of soup. My sweetheart ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which came with hand made potato chips and cole slaw which she subbed with a fruit salad. She also opted for the house salad over soup. And our friend Paul got the Pork Chop, which comes with caramelized onions and a apple brandy sauce with butter, and of course the same potatoes and zucchini everyone gets. Instead of salad, Paul opted for the soup of the day, Manhattan clam chowder. The soup and the salads were all good, i had vinagrette which was very tasty and my sweetie got cucumber wasabi dressing, which she was really pleased with. The portions were all pretty good, not too little, and the presentation of the food was good too. I ordered my flank steak rare, and was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to me that way. The meat was flavorful and tender, the chimichurri sauce giving it a nice tang. The chard was ok and the potatoes were fine, nice and tender. My sweetie was very happy with her grilled chicken, cooked well, not dry. The chips were good, although a little overcrispy for my taste, and the fruit very fresh. Paul had a nice thick pork chop, cooked well. No complaints with any of the food. All in all, very happy with One Fifty Central. Will probably return. Worth a try for sure.
