I eat here almost every day… Check their lunch specials out. Quick slices and food cooked with love

«Superior» Pizza? Superior maybe to Gas station pizza, or High cafeteria pizza. But not by much. We ordered a large bacon pizza tonight. Crust was extremely dry, inedible. Overall, the pizza was very lackluster & boring. Will not be coming back to Superior Pizza, if the pizza is that lousy, can’t imagine the rest of the menu being any better.

So many parts of the meal were good, but it just didn’t come together into a pleasant dining experience. Service was good but slow, we were greeted when we came in the door and our order was taken quickly, by a friendly waitress — but then it took awhile for the food to come out. The garlic bread was ok, nothing special. If I hadn’t been so hungry, I would not have eaten it. We ordered a pizza with green peppers and mushrooms. The peppers were the best part, mushrooms seemed to be from a can. The sauce was bland. The crust was unusually crispy(in a good way) but tasteless. All the food seemed to be missing something, but I couldn’t figure out exactly what that something was. Being on a busy street, I expected that the place would be busy on a Friday night. There was only one other couple eating there, and they didn’t seem to be doing much takeout business either. Also, part of the dining area was being used a pizza box assembly area. Overall, reasonable prices, decent service, but blah food.

If I could I would give this place a 2 ½ stars… Not horrible but not great either. I got a gift card there and only read good reviews so i figured it had to be good. We ordered garlic bread which came out cold– it was pretty good though the kids loved it but like I said it was COLD Pizza is meh. I guess its good compaired to someplaces in ct but I did not care for it. We got chicken parm and eggplant parm dinners. Which came with a really good house salad, pasta, and the parm. My eggplant parm lacked flavor and was coated with flour(i believe not breadcrumbs like I am use to). It also only had cheese on the top. My husband ate his chicken parm but after said it wasnt great. Prices are great– for the garlic bread, 2 dinners, and a large ½ topping pizza and one drink it was about $ 40.00 which you cant do that many places… but you get what you pay for. Overall it was meh to okay. nothing to write home about and we will most likely not be returning.

Came here with a GC and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a little strip mall and the outside doesnt look like much, the inside isnt really anything to look at either, but the food was really good. I knew i was in for a treat when each table had a vase with real flowers, you dont see that anywhere anymore. So we ordered… garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, buffalo wings & i got the veal parmesan. The bread for garlic bread is made on premises, which you ALSO dont see much anymore, so ordering the garlic bread is a must. The buffalo wings were standard, and the veal parmesan was really good. The portion size was huge, i was able to take ½ of it home. The cheese pizza was meh, the only thing i didnt really enjoy. So if you’re looking for pizza, you may want to go elsewhere, but if youre looking for a good dinner, stop it, you’ll be pleasantly suprised.
