This is my first one star review, this place was a major disappointment. I was very excited about Clyde’s after hearing about it from family while visiting Ashburn. The building and décor were great walking in but the bartenders where incredibly rude and un-attentive. I understand that it was a very busy night being the holiday but there is no excuse for staff to treat customers that way. As a Sales & Marketing Director of a hotel in Denver with a high volume nightlife and bar presence I understand and am patient when I go to a busy bar but the treatment of their staff was inexcusable. I stood at the bar front and center holding my ID and CC for almost 20 minutes waiting patiently until I finally gave up and left the establishment all together. 1 of 2 bartenders working(a larger gal with dark hair in her late 20s) acknowledged me once for a brief second and tended to other guests even though I was waiting longer. Stick to the basics. Their oriental food is meh but the if you stick to your regular ol American comfort food(burgers, ribs) there will be nothing to worry about

Everything was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. I could not believe how well everything fits. The décor is magnificent, and that’s a word I rarely use. It’s an amazing experience to see all the equestrian decorations and Sleighs. The food we order was above good and hefty. Nothing to make it a Michelin rated place but, it got my 5 stars.

I visit for brunch or trivia. The food is always well-prepared with large serving sizes. The drinks are always well made and the bartenders(usually Adrian!) really know their stuff whether I order wine, beer, or a cocktail. I always leave happy!

Clyde’s Willow Creek has won us over again. I used to live at Reston Town Center, so I was a regular customer at that location, particularly for happy hour. I moved away from the area for about a year, and recently returned to the restaurant. The location at Reston just doesn’t care, and it shows. I recently moved again to the Sterling market, so we decided to give the Willow Creek Farm location a go. I was jaded, considering how bad the Reston location had become, but we were blown away by the service, food quality and location. We’re regulars at Willow Creek now, visiting 3 – 5 times a month, and every time we go, no matter the waiter, we receive excellent service. The most recent visit included the purchase of an herb-crusted Ahi tuna, which was basically a salt lick, but they happily exchanged it for another dish, and removed it from our bill. The wine list is better than the other locations(we’ve been to Tyson’s as well), and the staff knows the menu in-and-out. Simply put, they put the other Clyde’s locations we’ve visited to shame. Not just in the look and feel, but in the meat and potatoes.

This is the most sophisticated Clydes in comparison to the one in Tysons Corner, a horrible place. I have been to the willow creek a few times during the summer and once in the winter. Their staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Their menu is a mix between American, Italian and seafood choices. The establishment mirrors a large and charming barn-like place for all ages to enjoy. It has a classic American vibe with large dining chairs and fireplaces. I personally think that their dessert menu is limited but I’m sure it can be modified and improved.

A ‘go-to’ place for any celebration or just drinks with friends! Consistently delicious!

It seems that everyone eventually ends up at Clyde’s for a company outing after work. I’ve been to a few. The setting is nice, especially if you can sit outside, but you’ll endure overpriced food and drink. We’re all used to ridiculous Ashburn drink prices, but the food here is especially underwhelming American-style cuisine that you can also enjoy at a Friday’s, Chili’s, Outback, Applebees, etc. Nothing great, but does the job!

The food was really good and plentiful! The prices were lower than I expected and the service was phenomenal! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Very disappointing service!!! Their food is really nothing special! I was expecting a lot more from farm to table concept… but no different than any other clydes other than this location is huge and has awesome outdoor seating area. Food and service lousy at least the couple of times I’ve been there which is quite surprising!

Brunch done Clyde’s Style: This restaurant visit was a great treat in my 48 hour visit to VA. I got to meet my raspberry friend Shazia. My time was limited so we decided to have Sunday brunch. She let me decide the venue since she believes her Unilocally enthusiastic friend. The brunch was a success, they not only have their regular menu but their brunch menu had many choices. I stole more than a few bites of her scrumptious banana bread style French toast. My spinach florentine with bagel and 2 poached eggs /rustic potatoes was delicious as well. They started us off with crumbcake sort of biscuits. Overall I would recommend this for Brunch if your in Asburn, Leesburg area etc. Their restaurant has enough space to take a gigantic party. Many spacious rooms and I believe the restaurant has over 4 small buildings rustic style. Loved all the decorations and our server was patient and let us catch up, which we really needed. Great time at Clyde’s.~

We came for our 30th wedding anniversary. Normally, we would go to Tuskies but thought we would eat here this time for our 30 years together. We have been here before for our anniversary and the food was fabulous Plus they surprised us with a complementary dessert and a glass of champagne. We were both excited to come again. I made our reservations a couple of weeks in advance and let them know it was a very big anniversary for us. I even let them know when we got there we were celebrating. Other than a «congratulations» it was a normal«let me show you to your table». Our waitress was late in coming to the table and told us immediately that they were out of filet mignon and salmon(I wanted the filet). Nothing else on the menu was inspiring so we both ordered the N.Y. strip a substitute for the filet. We also ordered their pumpkin dip seasonal appetizer — WOW it was fantastic! It came with fresh cut pears, apples and ginger snaps. The N.Y. strip was superbly cooked, but the mashed potatos were so salty they were not edible. We were both pretty disappointed with tonight’s dinner. We don’t go out to eat very often and it was a big event for us. Nothing felt special about it. There will be a «redo» at Tuskies next weekend.

Oh my goodness what can I say about Clydes besides I was completely blown away!!! I’m in town for business so we met up with my bosses friends for some grub. She had been GUSHING about Clydes since the plane landed. Atmosphere: Most adorable place ever, even saw some tables completely surrounded by enormous leather chairs! Wood beamed ceilings, long corridors, several rooms, this place felt like a maze at first but once I got my bearings it was really charming!!! Food: HOLYDELICIOUSNESS!!! We had a fantastic bottle of Malbec to start. I can’t say enough about my meal it was exquisite. I ordered the Duo of Birds(Duck Confit & Partridge Sausage) and I swear I almost fell out of my chair. Presentation was beautiful and it tasted even BETTER. I was annoying my comrades with yums and mmmms throughout the entire meal! The waiter tried to take my plate away with still a few morsels on it, he almost pulled back a nub! Staff: Our waiter was nice, helpful, and checked on us often. There was an interesting quirk I want to mention: when I ordered my dish, he asked, «Do you know how Duck Confit is cooked?» I answered no, but it has always been delicious. He went on to explain to me how it’s cooked in fat, and so on. At first it felt a little condescending, but later when he brought my friends Endive salad, asked if she new what an Endive was(he wasn’t able to tell us what it was… So I was surprised he even asked). It seems he was doing this to educate us on our food, which I think is a great concept! … But if you’re going to do that, know your stuff. I would come here again, and again. Can’t wait for my next business trip in DC!

Three thumbs up for having something other than the usual(nuggets, burgers and grilled cheese) on the kids menu. I was really impressed to see salmon and the«finger food» was perfect for my 3 yo. We have been to Clydes @ WC several times in the past year(usually as date night) but this time was a birthday dinner with my parents and husband. Love the seasonal menu. I am rarely disappointed

Location: a real gem in the middle of the Ashburn suburbs. There are walking paths adjacent to the restaurant for a post-meal stroll, should you have the urge. Ambiance: this place is gorgeous, in an old money, I-play-polo-and-own-a-sailboat, Middleburgian sort of way. Each detail, from the nicely lit portraits and fireplaces in the waiting area, to the lovely restrooms are a treat. The staff: delightful. The Food: I think most people’s focus is on the grand sense of occasion that accompanies a visit to Clyde’s. It is that sense of occasion, I think that made us overlook the mediocre brunch fair the first few times we visited here. Our reservation was for the later side of brunch and I had to work pretty hard to saw my way through the stale English muffin at the bottom of my eggs Benedict. We would like to see more vegetarian options. Currently there is sadly little in the way of vegetarian options, and what’s there isn’t great, like the cold, stale pita bread that came along with the hummus trio. Generally, though, this is the type of place where you can put on your Sunday best, and have a nice time, as long as you don’t care about being wowed by the food. You won’t have your socks knocked off, but you’ll have a predictable, okay brunch selection.

If I could give them a sixth star, I would. To me, the measure of how good a restaurant is not just getting it right, but how you value the customer when things go wrong. There is no need to elaborate what went wrong today at lunch by I will tell you this, the manager really stepped up and won a very loyal customer as a result. I hope he’s reading this and want you and the reader a your actions were the right thing to do. I’ll be back in spades!

Kind of cheesy but overall a good spot for happy hour relaxation in good weather. Pros: 1. Big place, huge, fits everyone easily inside or out. 2. Decent food, good selection and fresh. 3. Nice outdoor area for drinks or food. 4. Old scoop decorations and nice wood beams. Cons: 1. Feels like a factory assembly line, get em in get em out. 2. Kind of pricey for what you get.

We really enjoyed our meal at Clyde’s. Came here awhile back with M and D. They have been here many times before but it was our first. The hosts were friendly and we were seated in a timely manner. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable. This place is very spacious. Lots of different rooms and the ambiance is relaxed. We enjoyed our meal, everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Their Calamari appetizer is perfect to share. End with the Chocolate Truffle Cake, it was so smooth and just melts in your mouth. Not overly sweet, with just the right amount of chocolatey goodness. The food was good and company even better!

The service was much-improved compared to the time I went here a little more than a year ago. I also thought the current seasonal rotation of the menu was better than what I’ve seen in the past(note: This location often has a very different menu from the other Clyde’s locations). I ended up being a little adventurous and going for something out-of-the-ordinary for me, and I’m glad I did. I had the pesto gnocchi, which had an array of veggies mixed in such as asparagus, spring greens, onion bulbs and peas. It had a great flavor and wasn’t too heavy or too light — it was just right! The only negatives to me are that the menu is still a little heavy on the ‘why would I eat that here?’ items and that they don’t have blinds in the windows so many patrons are forced to sit with the hot sun burning out their retinas.

Although I did not dine, you certainly can’t go wrong with Clyde’s. This is the most upscale Clyde’s I have ever been to and I’ve been to four others in the area. Its huge. Like a farm with serious décor and ambiance, they have a fire place and antique touches all throughout the restaurant. Plenty of private dining areas too. I came here on a week night for Karaōke. We sat at the bar. Service was attentive and efficient. I would love to come here for a special occasion like Mother’s Day or a special birthday celebration brunch or something. Absolutely exquisite.
