Applebee’s

Yet again. The last two times we have been there have been so bad that today is it. Won’t ever eat there again. What the heck kind of people do they hire. Went just before Christmas and was overcharged and the waitress ignored everyone at the table except my 80 year old father, it was like we did not exist. Then today. My husband and myself and my 36 year old son went and they didn’t have what we ordered so one of us had to change our order and this woman literally asked my husband if he were married. I am not kidding, He sat with his arm around me, we were laughing and cutting up and she honestly said that. We laughed ½ an hour about it and her rudeness but there is just no sense in it. That’s one thing but not having what we all wanted, coked the two plates they had and when it was done asked what the other person wanted, so our food was cold and just as last time, did not get all our sides. Sick of the rude people at this place and would rather eat at Mc.Donalds.

Excellent Excellent! Our waitress was superb! Service #1 couldn’t have gotten any better! Husband had ribs, very good!!! I was not feeling well walking in. but my waitress, made me feel better, brought me items to help me!

I will have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter (she’s 4) and I ate here recently and the food was very good. I don’t usually expect much from chain restaurants but the food was fresh, great service and every time we drive by the restaurant, my daughter says she wants to eat there. If you are looking for a place to take the kids/​family (especially on a weekday or early on a Friday — my daughter goes to bed at 7:30) I highly recommend we will be back!

I haven’t been here for quite a while because last time we came we walked in and no one waited on us so I walked out. This time we were the first one here, and we got greeted quickly and seated. Our server is Moirama. Not sure if I spelled that correctly. She was excellent and recommended several items. Very helpful.
I decided to be adventurous and ordered the four cheese Mac and Chicken. Bill ordered a club sandwich and sweet potato fries.
The Four Cheese Mac and Chicken was very good. It had a nice combination of flavors: some sweet/​sour, bacon bits, and jalapeño for kick. Definitely a winner in my book!
My breadstick was cold, so I asked my server for a hot one. She brought me back a breadstick that had been microwaved and now was not only too hot, but it was now tough as well. This made me take my review down one star.
The sweet potato fries were excellent. Bill’s club was good as well.
For dessert, we ordered the triple chocolate meltdown that comes with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. It was very good; moist and very chocolate, just the way I like desserts.
So, bottom line for me is this. Yes, there are some good food options here; much better than last time I was here. However, I was disappointed in the breadstick service, but not surprised. This is on par with service I have received here before. So, Appleby’s is definitely not my favorite restaurant, but it is one I will come back to when I get bored of the other offerings in the neighborhood.
I hope they will work on better training for their staff.

We have limited options for this area in Broken Arrow, so we find ourselves eating at Applebee’s from time to time. The service at this location was very good, especially for a chain restaurant. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked on us often. A manager stopped by our table to check on us during our meal as well. Why the 3 stars? Well, the food is just not up to snuff with what you pay for the price. I know that most of food is packaged and comes frozen. If Applebee’s would use fresher ingredients, we would definitely eat here more often. I ordered a grilled chicken ciabata sandwich with french fries. It looked like they gave me the bottom of the bag for my fries. There was not one french fry that would measure over half an inch, and they were just thrown on the plate. The chicken was burnt and dry. The sandwich was supposed to have dressing on it, but because it probably sat under a heat lamp for too long, it was all dried out and the tomato was mushy. My wife had ordered a shrimp and broccoli pasta dish. Her food also looked dryed out, like it had been under a heat lamp for 30 minutes. So the 3 stars are mostly for service in this review, the food needs a lot of work here.

This place was bad when it opened. But the new management has really turned it around. Friendly staff.
