I love local food and I love Mexican restaurants and so this is perfect it messes up a little on your order every once in a while but the food is great!

Not the best/most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever eaten but the Chapala special was really yummy and so were the shrimp tacos.

The food was a to go order and was very tasty. However I got charged for even the chips and salsa that is usually complementary and I didn’t ask for it. I tried placing a order over the phone but the guy was like uh huh tacos, funny part about it was that No, I didn’t want tacos. I wanted a steak taco salad. So I was disappointed that an English speaking associate was not available to take my order. And sadly I had to wait 35 minutes after I arrived to place an order which could of been an easy fix if the person answering the phone could of been bilingual.

I LOVETHEGRILLEDCHICKENBREAST! The Chimichanga with shredded chicken is also fantastic and a great reason why I don’t mind the 20 minute drive there from my place in Jenks. The salsa seemed to vary in flavor on my three visits. Once it seemed to taste like it had been thawed after being frozen too long. The staff is very quick, friendly and accommodating. But, my order was brought to me prepared wrong during two of my three dining experiences. Took no time at all for the right order to be placed in front of me. The margaritas are delicious and I advise you drink slow! I will go back for sure!!!

Best Margaritas in the Tulsa area! Great service and chips and salsa. The food is a lot better than it used to be. I believe maybe they have improved their menu and/or chef. :-)

This place is terrible! They could not get a drink order right, our food was cold and tasted like it came out of a can

The more we come the less excited we are. Don’t know what’s going on. Hit and miss. Great, or just not quite good.

One of our favorite restaurants! Good food for a great price, and the margaritas are very very good. My favorite dish is the pollo con queso. Quite a bit of chicken with queso dribbled on it. Most of the staff has been there for as long as I can remember and they are very friendly. The place is usually packed on the weekends and busy on the weekdays.

Mine and my husband’s favorite Mexican restaurant! ! The food has been amazing every time we go as well as the service! The staff is so friendly and fast, chips and salsa on the table as soon as we sit down. The margaritas are strong and tasty and fairly priced. I’ve spent many a birthday at this restaurant and will spend many more! Love it

This place has changed dramatically in a year. We went here last Friday and even though the place was packed, the service was awesome. The chips were good, the salsa was good – the tortillas tasted fresh and homemade. Everything was great. Whatever changes they made has been for the best – it really is a good place! You can tell by all the cars parked outside!

My wife and my favorite tex-mex restaurant for many years now. Best margaritas I ever had. Make sure to get chorizo in the queso. Shrimp enchiladas are great. Top notch chili rellenos(get them with added steak fajita meat)! So much good to say about this place. Often times we stop in and sit at the bar with chips and salsa and margaritas. The salsa! I forgot… that’s the reason we fell in love with this place! It’s very good. We often stop in and get a pint(and bag of chips) to take home… Great queso. Great salsa! Great margaritas! What else do you want from a tex-mex Mecca? How about enchilada de’ carnitas? They are great too.

Not bad food. Not fantastic either. I did like that the food mostly tasted pretty authentic which is difficult to find in this city. I had the chicken chimichanga which was good. My gfs enchiladas were good with the tomatillo and queso fresco. I did NOT like the rice though. The server was polite and not rude at all but wasnt super friendly either. I ordered a michelada which came with ice which i thought was odd. It also only had a little beer in it but i was given the rest of the bottle so no big deal. It was flavored very well though and I did enjoy it. Overall not bad and I might be back to try the fajitas which smelled very good when they were brought out to another table.

I get here and my butt barely hits the seat and I have chips and salsa in front of me. I am a repeat customer here and this is the norm, not the exception here. Today, the salsa was a little thinner than typical but still quite tasty. The chips are always thin and crispy and quite tasty. So much so that I wish I could stop with just a few but today was no different… I about downed a basket of chips by myself… how I hate this place… My «go to» is the Pollo Con Queso and I get the sausage added… I can hear my arteries clogging as I give the very attentive waitress my order. Between all these chips and the cheesy sausage/chicken I am about to down, I should be doing«T75» today instead of «T25». Once again the food was the same. tasty and another basket of chips downed. My wife got the fish fajitas and they were quite good as I stole a couple bites from her unfinished plate. If I ate at this place more often, Shaun T might start to think that his program does not work because I find myself having no self control when it comes to their food. Others might think differently, but Mr. Mangos is high on my list when it comes to Mexican food in Broken Arrow.

Not exceptional, but pretty dang good Tex Mex food for a good price. I like the pollo con queso meal. Great, strong margaritas as well! Despite what others have said, I have never had an issue with the service. In fact, there are usually a comical amount of servers working… it almost seems like every third person at Mambo is a server. We absolutely love the patio in spring, summer, and fall. It’s really pleasant in the evening because it faces east.

Love this place. It hard to eat at other Mexican places without comparing it to this joint, however today the salsa was Spicier than it has been. I love spicy things, but if it is t broke don’t fix it. I love the chapala special is what the old Menu said but new menu said chapas. Steak, shrimp and chicken over Cheese sauce is amazing and it comes with homemade Tortillas. The quesadilla Tampico is another personal favorite If you in Broken Arrow and want Mexican food. EATHERE

The service must have improved since the last person went there because our server was really nice. We did have to wait a little while for our last round of refills but other than that he was pretty much on top of things and very nice! The food was decent as well so it was a pretty good experience with friends(:

Woah, boy. This is tough for me because I USED to enjoy this place. It is a few blocks from where I live, so we ended up there often. It was the type of place that, as long as you avoided stuff like tacos, enchiladas and burritos, you could end up with a good meal. I’m not sure that speaks highly of them as a Mexican restaurant, but what I mean is that I always enjoyed their grilled dishes– steak, chicken, shrimp, fajitas, etc. Chips weren’t bad as long as you got there after 12 pm– otherwise they weren’t warmed up yet and just tasted(accurately, I suppose) like tortilla chips from a bag. Anyway, they had decent food and pretty good service, which earned them the solid 3.5 stars they’re currently rocking on Unilocal. HOWEVER. I must now warn you: STAYAWAY. I don’t know what’s happened there lately, but the service has taken a serious nose-dive. It seems like they don’t have enough servers working, or that they are just terrible at communicating with one another. This isn’t just one really bad experience that I’m referencing(although that is what has prompted this Unilocaling). This opinion is numerous visits it the past few months that have proven an overall decline in service. Takes forever to get seated, can’t get refills, etc– and I’m talking about when they AREN’T busy. Today was no exception. Sunday, 2:30 pm. AFTER the lunch rush. Waited a little too long for a hostess to appear and seat us. Went without refills a little too long while we were waiting for our food. Irritating, but forgivable. So then our food comes. My husband order the Steak Acapulco, and when he tasted it, he said the steak tasted a bit… off. I tried it and had the same reaction. Not horrifyingly rancid meat, but it just didn’t taste fresh. So we start looking for the server to get him something else, and I start eating my meal while it is still warm.(I wasn’t terribly hungry and just had one of their $ 3.99 lunch specials with a taco and an enchilada. I got what I expected– nothing outside of mediocre.) Time passes. No one can be flagged down. I finally catch the eye of the server in the next section and tell him«We need our waiter.» More time passes. Still nothing. I have finished my meal at this point and my husband is hungry and angry. He wants to just walk out. I am finally able to flag down the hostess and tell her«My husband doesn’t like his meal. We’ve waited 15 minutes to tell someone, and I am finished eating now. He doesn’t want anything else, so can we just get the check for my meal and the drinks so we can go?» More time passes. Our server finally shows up and asks if we’d like some refills. My husband says no, we just want the check. The server kind of tosses the thing on the table holding the check… which includes the meal my husband ordered. SIGH. My husband is very angry now. More time passes. I eventually flag down the hostess again and say that we still need this fixed. She says she’ll talk to the manager to get it taken care of.(To her credit, the server was very nice and tried to help us.) My hungry husband is extremely angry at this point. Suggests throwing things, etc. More time passes. At this point, we are up to about 20 minutes of trying to get this solved. Eventually, the server comes back and asks if there was a problem. My husband says the meat didn’t taste fresh. The server then begins to ARGUE with him that everything is fresh, it’s made every day, blah blah blah. My husband, not interested in arguing about it, says«I don’t care, I just want to leave now.» The server gets super-defensive at this point as says«OH, you DON’T CARE?!? Fine!» Needless to say, my husbands eyes are bulging out of his head and steam is shooting from his ears. I keep asking if he wants to wait in the car while I deal with this. Not because I was embarrassed, I was genuinely afraid that he’d EXPLODE at this point. MORETIMEPASSES. I finally see the poor hostess again and say(out of desperation) «THISISNOTOKAY. We just want to LEAVE!» At this point, let me remind you that I had a $ 3.99 lunch special. We had two soft drinks. With tax, this totaled a little over $ 8. ANDWEAREREGULARSATTHISRESTAURANT. Any normal restaurant would have said«This one’s on us, have a great day!» about 3 minutes into this fiasco. But, alas, the server then shows up then with the check. For $ 8. I’d had it at this point. I threw two $ 5 bills on the table. I let them know it would be the last $ 10 of ours they’d ever be getting, and that this had been the worst handling of a very simple service situation that I’d ever seen. So. If you’re interested in wasting that much time for bad service, argumentative waiters, mediocre food and possibly rotten meat, have at it. I won’t be there. P. S. Luckily, the olé husband didn’t explode. But he did say on the way to the car, «I need you to Unilocal the $^#! out of this place!»
