No 1 Kitchen

We ordered No 1 Kitchen on a Friday night. Unfortunately, hardly any Chinese restaurants deliver to our part of Broken Arrow, so when we found on that did, we decided to try it. It cost an extra $ 5.00 delivery fee, but if the food was great, it would be worth it. Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed. The General Tso’s that I ordered was okay, but not great. My husband also thought his Teryaki Chicken was just okay. The sushi I ordered was good, but it’s hard to go wrong with a California Roll. The Cream Cheese Won Tons were the best part of the meal, but again, can you really go wrong with that?
Please someone bring a good Chinese Delivery to east BA!

Service was good. We arrived about 10min late for lunch specials, but they still gave us lunch prices. I got the bourbon chicken, this dish is hard to find in okc. It was really good, my bf got general tso’s chicken but thought it was too much breading. Overall it was good and lunch prices Are great.

Really good food! It’s really number one! I like how they spare no expense for food quality. The soda is good, the fries are good, and they have a lot of good cooked meat!

I have dined in here before and never a problem. However I placed an order for delivery. It took an hour and 40 mins and the order was screwed. The shrimp in «lobster sauce» was foul! It had more imitation crab than it did shrimp, water and tasted horrible. Shrimp in Garlic Sauce (3 piece of shrimp btw) with 3 options for spiciness, requested NOT spicy. First bite, it was so spicy enough to make you cough and eyes water. I called the store and was transferred to the manager, as I proceeded to tell her what was wrong… She started yelling at me and calling us liars. Kept cutting me off, yelling and then hangs up on me. Used to love this place but after that call, forget it.

The dumplings are great. I have had both steamed and fried. I prefer the steamed dumplings. The best lo mein I have had in this region. The egg rolls are fresh crisp and perfectly filled. Everything I have had tastes fresh and prepared when it is ordered. I plan on going back and trying more menu items soon. Prices are comparable to other Asian restaurants.

I call in my order and then pick it up. It’s typically ready very quickly. The sushi is not the best but it’s pretty good for the price. I have never used the delivery service as my meal this not typically reach their minimum price for delivery which I think is 13 or 14 dollars.

Always great until. As of tonight I am disappointed. Missing part of the order, part my fault for not checking before leaving as it has happened in the past. The egg rolls were burst open, burnt in that area as well as cold. The meals were lacking what they used to be. Quality control seems to be a real issue, which should be a priority when there are so many places to choose from. At this point, not a place I would recommend as we have in the past.

More like #2 kitchen if you know what I mean… as in you might need a restroom after eating here. I love the drive through feature but on too many occasions my lo mein was just sitting (overcooked) in an extra cup of oil. Yes I understand Chinese food is cooked in oil but it was excessive on numerous occasions. Fried item like sweet and sour chicken and general Tsao’s have been seriously undercooked and soggy. Sorry, strike 3 and you’re out. I’ll be at Happy House down the road.

Meh. Over priced, normal chinese food portions, watery Chicken and brocoli sauce… it’s nothing special. I will say, some chinese foods have this strange nasty flavor to their chicken and it makes me want to throw up. This chicken is actually chicken.

We love this little restaurant. They serve sushi that is very good and the Chinese food is yummy. It’s not too expensive and like that we an get both in one place. They also have drive through so I don’t even have to get out of my car to pick up my order. Very good food. Worth the drive over to BA.

Did carry out for our first meal. Food was very tasty and hot after our 10 minute drive home. Will definitely go back.

I love this place. They have the best hot and sour soup. Their eggplant dishes are also really good. Their prices are super and the atmosphere is really laid back. I would eat here all the time if I still lived in BA.

This place is easy to miss as it’s sort of a hole-​in-​the-​wall type building and isn’t very flashy. But, if you do miss it, you’re definitely missing out! Should be near the top of anyone’s favorites for oriental food around here.

No 1 kitchen has great sushi for a takeout place. My family & I have been eating here for over a year. Their service is good and the orders are normally correct. My kids love their sweet n sour chicken and cheese wontons.

Well the best place to start is the beginning I was looking for a delivery place and found this one on Unilocal clicked on the website to read the menu and was suprised I could order online. No1 called confirmed my order and I just relaxed and waited for it to arrive. when the driver came to the door he was polite and the food was still very hot. When I got it to the table the smell of how good it was teased me to hurry. The presentation of everything was only out done by how good it is. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the rice is to die for. We had appetizers main course and we where so full. so glad that I found this place I will be going back over and over again.

Definitely worth a visit! I was craving Chinese food and had heard this place was okay. I went through the drive-​through and got garlic beef which was spectacular. The food was fresh and very hot. Next time I’m visiting family in BA I’ll definitely visit again.

One of my favorite Chinese/​Japanese restaurants! The Cali rolls are great, as is the Dragon roll. Their fried rice and lo mein are also yummy. I eat here at least a couple times a month. They do delivery and usually say it’ll take about 45 minutes, but for the most part it’s closer to 20.

Suprisingly, Broken Arrow is loaded with Chinese food restaurants… but this is the only one at the top. When it comes to chinese food, I look at price, portion, and flavor. Lets face it, most lack in one of these areas.
No. 1 Kitchen is easy to drive by, but definately go check it out. Cheaper than that new black and white bear in BA and better as well. We like to order basic staples of sweet and sour chicken and sesamie chicken. Both are outstanding, but we just haven’t decided to check out the rest of the menu yet. One meal can easily feed two people. Friendly service and fast too.

I’d driven past this little place a million times and wondered if it could be one of those really great little hole in the wall kinds of places that are way better than expected. It was.
There is a Chinese menu on one side and a Japanese (mostly sushi) menu on the other side. Since the sushi rolls were more than I was wanting to spend and not what I was after, I focused on the Chinese side and the seemingly endless choices. It even said that if there was a dish I wanted that wasn’t listed to just ask. Pretty cool.
I had the Beef and Eggplant in Garlic Sauce (or a name with all the same words, maybe in a different order) and got the combo which adds fried rice instead of white rice, plus an eggroll. He got the Pepper Beef. In both cases, the main dish was really awesome. I didn’t love the eggroll and would probably skip doing the combo next time.
This place does delivery (with $ 16 minimum order, according to the menu we brought home for future usage) and carry out, too, which is a wonderful thing for a place like here where the only other Chinese I’ve had has been at some icky buffet (too many of those in this area).
Finally, I have a go-​to Chinese place in the area.
Oh, and they have the menu online, too, for ordering — bonus point for being able to order online, but then minus the same for the online menu being too clunky with way too many pages to wade through instead of something easier for browsing. Still, it’s better than no online menu, right?
