I believe the large fish tank is the only thing that’s amazing about this place. The food is okay. I had a Reuben. I saw they have gator on the menu. Tempted to try it, but too afraid to. Lol.

Stopped in after taking a walk around the pond and doing a little shopping at Bass Pro. Nice place to sit and sip while watching all the fish. Food is OK, but the bar is great.

Why more people don’t eat here I don’t know. Awesome food, just a little pricey. Where else can you get great tasting Gator.

Had the «Across The Pond» fries were decent, fish, now that’s a different story. The batter was so thick and grease laden that I had to flake it off. Think I got a grease burn from it. The alligator tail was pretty good despite some pieces being a little on the rubbery side. Second time to eat here and quite possibly the last.

Ratings on Unilocal aren’t put into context automatically. How can you compare a pizza place in Somerville, MA with a basspro shop restaurant in Tulsa, OK. You can’t and that’s why Unilocal lets you write comments. In this case, Basspro has a restaurant as part of their retail store. While this is probably not where you will go as a destination resultant, it is orders of magnitude better than other in-​store restaurants like Walmart, target or Ikea. The main room is not that large but the food is what you would expect (hamburgers, BBQ, and fish (duh– it’s BASSpro.). I gave it four stars because I can’t bring myself to give a restaurant in a retail store more than that. If you happen to be in Basspro and are hungry, go ahead and visit the Restuarant to get some good food at reasonable prices.

We’ve been here in the past and been happy. Tonight we waited 20 minutes and no one even came to get our drink order. The waitress walked by our table 4 different time and didn’t even acknowledge we were there. There were only two other tables with customers in the entire restaurant. We finally just walked out. It was ridiculous and I doubt I’ll be going back.

Uncle Bucks is the place I go when I’m looking for an outdoor patio, in the shade, with a view of a lake, and where I can take my dog. The food is good, not fabulous, but the prices are right and the atmosphere is perfect. I always get a hamburger; my husband always gets chicken. They do have alligator for the adventurous type!

The bar has a big fish tank you can watch the fishies while you eat. They have an amazing Buffalo Hamburger that just hits the spot and real fries that have the outer skin on them (for those who loves those type of fries) Their onion rings are very big and if you like ranch to dip whatever you want in. then you will LOVE theirs. Second time i’ve been here and it was not crowded or loud.
The bartender was super nice and if you want to know about the fish they have a binder that explains what every fish is in their tank. The buffalo burger is $ 6.somthing and the original burger is $ 5.something so it’s a good deal with a satisfying taste.

Very surprised to see only 1 review. You don’t really know what to expect eating at a restaurant inside of a Bass Pro Shop — we didn’t either. Not the classiest of places. We were actually BLOWN away by the food. I mean, the fish and chips were cooked perfectly and everyone else who got burgers had nothing but good things to say! If your shopping — definitely stop in and grab something to eat. You won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere! Ordered: broccoli cheese soup which had a thick film on top… Not very appetizing. Bison burger with fries. The bison burger was delicious and cooked to perfection! Fries were greasy and soggy. The Jumbo shrimp with fries was fried to death– did not look appetizing at all and when bit into shrimp the greasy just exploded in your mouth. Waitress asked if I would like to try something different, but I was so grossed out from the greasy shrimp and fries I just left… Oh, the lemonade will rot your teeth it’s do sweet, go with the bison burger.
