Broadway Laundromat

This Laundromat is pretty decent. I have been coming here since I moved to the neighborhood (mostly because it’s the closest laundromat to where I live). One of the reasons I am only giving it 3 stars is because they only take cash which I think is very archaic. It’s so easy to accept credit cards nowadays that there is no reason not to. They do have an ATM in the laundromat but nobody likes ATM fees. Having said that, the service and price here is good enough that I continue to come here once/​week. They also have a ton of machines that are always open.

It’s fine. The workers have always been courteous to me when I’ve needed help or change although they are often busy doing drop off laundry. The only negative is you have to add extra water to the wash cycle for the 50lb machines and several dryers are often out of order. I like that it is open late when I like to go to avoid the crowds.

When I first started coming here 2 years ago I was ok with the place but the last time I was here I could see roaches roaming around. Also, it drives me crazy that you have to insert and remove every time you want to add more minutes to the dryer. Think I am done with the place.

This place is very convenient for people who work at different hours, but some of the people who work there are total assholes. Especially the guy old guy overnight. Is like he’s miserable and wants to be sure your miserable too. This man can’t stand when people show up to use the machine, you hear him cursing and slamming his little step stool around. This guy must have some mental issues because you can’t be this miserable every single day of your life. Like I said convenient place but customer service and employee attitude need a drastic change.

Was shopping around for laundromats in the area and came by here for a drop off.
Two hoodies of mine were not properly dried — it came with that damp odor.
A bit on the pricier side, compared to nearby laundromats.
So drop off wasn’t great so I gave it another try before knocking it. I did my wash here and I realized I should’ve went somewhere else. One of the washes weren’t working properly and the water wasn’t coming out. The worker that was there was a bit ticked off at me/​the machine/​life? She rudely told me to use another one and just walked away abruptly.
There are other, less expensive, friendlier options available in the neighborhood for much much better service and results.

Dropped off my clothes for a wash and when I got home and opened the bag, all my whites were blueish grey. Would not recommend.

I have been coming here for 4 years now. I love coming here with my bf, especially after midnight, when the entire laundromat is empty (no wait times!). Machines work great, the place is mostly clean, and the cleaning girls are great (night shift girls, while mostly quiet, are nice when asked for help. HOWEVER. The night shift guy is a jerk. He’s rude, condescending, and speaks to everyone like they’re his to scold at. Makes me really uncomfortable to be in here especially when he watches you like a dog. Not polite whatsoever and just a real jerk. If it wasn’t so busy during the day i would come then and do wash to avoid him. The woman who works the afternoon evening has been the nicest person overall.

My last review was good, but my latest experience has me over the top! I dropped off a couple of sweaters and a dress shirt for dry cleaning. I told the lady I was dropping off 5 sweaters and 1 shirt, totaling $ 23. When I come to pick it up, there’s a note left with my clothes saying they only accounted for 4 of my sweaters instead of the original 5 I was charged for. I looked over my clothes and didn’t notice anything missing. I told the lady nothing was missing and she quickly adjusted the price, now totaling $ 19 for 4 sweaters and 1 dress shirt. I would have never put the math together nor made the connection that I was going to be over priced. For the lady to note I was being charged more than I have dropped off really instilled the confidence in relying on this place for all my dry cleaning needs… DEFINATELY AN A+

Great place and very clean… the big load is 5.75 not 6:75.Anyway. The stuff is very helpfully and nice. except, one Spanish lady that always look mad and have an attitude all the time, I try not to go in the afternoon cause she is there, owner of the place should fired her or tell her to change her attitude. overall I rate the place A
