Walked 2 miles to get here and I would have to say that it was worth it. Get the Spicy Tuna Bruschetta and the Chicken Tikka Masala. I got it Spicy and it was the best Tikka ever, creamy with warm garlic naan. The Winter Blossom roll is expensive but will fill you up. The owner was very friendly and so was our waiter. Music was chill electronic like Bonobo Pandora. Everything about this place is a strong 5 stars. They are pushing the limits here.

I LOVETHISPLACE! So Cute&Cozy! I’ve come here several times and I always leave content. The Rolls are fresh and the dishes are delicious. They have a creative drink menu which is really good. Service is great, restaurant décor is chilled, But! It’s a small place. I recommend to the 3rd power!

I rarely give poor ratings but the unexpected inaccurate food description was disappointing, where the cost of the fishing ingredient(uni) was not compensated for. It also wasn’t a big deal that they didn’t have reisling, didn’t bring us plates, and that the sushi rice was bland and dry(unmarinated like usual, authentic sushi — after all, it is an Asian fusion place evidently not managed by Asians or an understanding or a background in restaurant services), but when they overcharged us ~$ 30 — they charged us for a bottle($ 39) rather than a glass(~$ 7 – 8), I lost all my appetite and had an awful taste in my mouth the entire evening. There was no apology or compensation for all these well intended errors. It was just a bad, overpriced, inauthentic experience. Unless you’re going for drinks to get wasted with tourusts, I wouldn’t recommend it’s services.

I’ve been here twice. I wanted to give this place 4 stars just because this neighborhood lacks a sushi restaurant, but I’m going to be fair. The place is small, but so cute inside, they serve mixed drinks, which you usually don’t find at many sushi spots. First time I was here, I wanted Thai food, so I got the pad thai, and there was nothing special about it. I LOVE authentic Thai food, so I feel this place can improve a bit on those flavors. On my second visit I decided to try the sushi. The sushi menu looked great, lots of variety, the rolls were good, but there was one specialty roll, the Forbidden Roll, that I was so excited for. It had wagyu beef teriyaki, asparagus, kaiware, king mushroom, I know right!!! But I was so disappointed because it lacked flavor, it’s was under seasoned. I really want this place to just step up their flavor game! This area really needs a place like this, and it’s such a cute spot. I hope they work this out.

When my friend told me we were having sushi in the South Bronx I didn’t even expect the spot to have a legitimate Unilocal page so you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find this place to have 4.5 stars. After having indulged in food and drink here they well deserve their rating! I’m just surprised they don’t have a solid 5 stars. Let start with the staff that are amazing. They were so friendly. I got here before my party of about 6 so I was a little bored but the staff were conversational so I didn’t mind the wait so much. They were very helpful in explaining the items on the menu and the way they prepare their drinks and rolls. I’m the most indecisive person I know, so I was incredibly appreciative of this exceptional knowledge of the menu. The place is on the… intimate side, but in NYC this has pretty much become the norm. I would suggest calling if you come with a larger party just to make sure you will be accommodated appropriately. Luckily the day I went there weren’t too many people. The food was incredible! From the edamame being perfectly salted(which is easier said than done from my experience), to the tuna bruschetta, to Kawasaki rolls(which has made it to my top 3 favorite rolls of all time) to the lychee martinis(which I have always disliked in the past), my stomach was in heaven. The only item that I didn’t really like we’re the rock shrimp because the shrimp were a little tough. Good thing my friend ordered it and I just tried one lol. They provide exceptional food and drinks for really great prices especially during their happy hour on drinks and appetizers.

Location, location, location. Honestly for sushi-thai place in the Bronx you can not ask for better. The tuna brushetta, kani salad and Thai cabbage salad all great Apps. However the shrimp option are tiny tiny rock shrimp, like legit straight cup-of-noodle soup size. Not feeling it; at all, I gasped. But the waiter did inform me, but Jesus I did not know they sold those shrimps out side of dehydrated ramen noodle soup packages. However thank you very much guys for the delicious meal, saved us from the usual chicken wings and pork fried rice.

I can’t believe I can now get amazing Sushi in the Bronx! The food was amazing, and they have Japanese beer and Sake! I haven’t tried the breakfast yet, but that is definitely on the menu. Dragon Rolls in my back yard! Yes!

I found this place slightly odd on my stop in for dinner, but it was okay. I was first thrown off my being told to seat myself, which felt uncomfortable in a sushi restaurant. Next I was hoping to get value for my money here in the Bronx as compared to Manhattan sushi restaurants, but it seems like the opposite might be true. The miso soup was large, but it was $ 5 and the quality was mediocre at best. It felt odd to eat miso soup with a metal spoon, and the seaweed was in big tough clumps. I ordered one of their special rolls, the Christmas Roll, which was $ 12.95. It was cut into pieces in such an eradicate manor as to give the impression that the sushi chef was blind. Actually, I have to apologize for just insulting any blind people who may be reading this. Some pieces were sliver thin so that they fell apart as soon as I tried to pick them up, while other prices were so large that I worried that perhaps I had just made a fatal mistake when I crammed the whole thing in my mouth. Thoughts of the tall, polite, waiter performing the Heimlich maneuver on me ran through my mind. The largest pieces had to be nibbled away at. Oh, right, almost forgot about the quality of the seafood. Both the tuna and salmon were a bit pale and lacking flavor. The middle of the roll was shrimp tempura but I could only detect the tempura, and the roll was topped with crunchies that added an overpowering bready flavor to the whole thing. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Still, I think this intrepid operation is one of the only sushi restaurants in the South Bronx, and they deserve credit for that.

Came for Thai food and were a bit disappointed. We walked over from 145th in Harlem and it was not fun, there was a lot of trash everywhere and the only exciting thing we passed was a strip club. Take a cab/über or if you’re lucky to live close, walk over! This restaurant is small but nicely decorated and the staff was so sweet. Get ready for this surprise: the best sushi of YOURLIFE! We were not planning for such yummy sushi from this tiny, normal-priced place and were so amazed. We had the spicy tuna and magical KAWASAKI roll!!! Oven baked crab, avocado, and other goodness. The Pad Thai was just weirdly sweet and just not very authentic tasting, so maybe avoid that.

The food is good and fresh that’s all that I can say. if you want good asian fusion food this ia the spot and they deliver:) i prefer to eat here than any of those unauthentic food places that call themselves asian fuaion or thai and watnot. Service is ok. They didn’t really offer me a drink while I waited for my food when i went in to pick it up. It was more of here’s your food bye bye.

I trekked all the way here today to try the grilled salmon roll and it is hands down now my favorite sushi roll. I’m one of those who doesn’t eat raw fish(I know!) so this grilled salmon with the soy wrap with avocado inside and spicy mayo drizzled outside reallllly hits the spot for me. It’s super far for me from Midtown but love it and would come back!

Fabulous food in a seriously urban area! We ate outside for a very late Friday dinner and got to watch the grease truck drag their hoses around the parked cars. The food was amazing! For appetizers we had the tuna bruschetta, the grilled scallops, rock shrimp tempura, and grilled suzuki roll. For entrees we got the Spicy Lady and the Ceetay. Our server was attentive. All good, we’ll be back!

Let me preface this by saying I generally avoid Asian fusion places(which this restaurant appears to be). However, no other places offering vegetarian entrees were around here, if any, seemed to be opened at the time, so, to Ceetay I went. The ambience is nice and sharp, and it has a bar and outdoor seating, if you’re into either. The wait staff is excellent, very courteous and pleasant. The lunch specials are not too varied if you’re a vegetarian since sushi seems to be Ceetay’s primary offering. And they start at 11 dollars. My lunch came out to 13 dollars by the way which I thought was on the high side. I felt like I’m getting the hipster mark up because it seems to be an up and coming neighborhood ripe for gentrification. Putting that aside, let’s talk about the food! You get one free side order with the lunch special, and I chose the miso soup which I thought was pretty ok. When my food, fried rice with brown rice and tofu arrived, I thought it looked kind of small, but it’s actually because they used a plate that was more like a bowl. They had a variety of fresh vegetables, and overall I thought I was getting quality food. If I get work in this neighborhood, I will very likely be a repeat customer. You can’t go wrong by giving this place a try.

I am a sushi snob. Full stop. I FREAKINGLOVETHISSUSHI. The owner is so friendly and accommodating… the chefs are super jovial and their skill is #onpoint. The venue is chill and laid back and when I get delivery it’s surprisingly as good! I have tried all the sushi in NYC and this is my favorite… in the BRONX! Who knew.

I’m literally writing this review before my food has arrived, and I’m dying in anticipation after reading the review. Here by myself on a lazy weekday afternoon before going for a night shift, so I’m allowed to be staring down at my phone. Now is this place all hype? Lowered standards for the Bronx? I’ll find out soon enough… Got the lunch special with 2 rolls and soup: #Butternut squash soup: The waitress recommended this as the most popular soup to start. I concurr. Pipping warm, with perfect balance of sweet and savory and just the right amount of squaash. #Rolls: spicy tuna and sweet potato tempura: I was pretty satisfied, but I was not blown away. Then again how much can you be blown away by a simple rolls. #Tuna bruschetta: A solid app to start with and seems like their staple dish from the myriad of mentions on other reviews. The rice based«bruschetta» is unique, tho the consistency I was expecting to be even more crispy. Spicy tuna topping is well flavored. Recommend. Overall: a great find in a sushi desert. keep it up bronx. Need to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Gem in the Bronx. Who knew? If you are going to eat quality food in this borough I would recommend this place to anyone. I went on a Wednesday around 7pm and they weren’t too busy. The place is not very big but they have a nice layout w/rustic décor. Def a Williamsburg/Downtown Manhattan look and vibe going on here. They offer Thai Fusion and Sushi. I tried the Dragon Roll($ 12) 8pcs — and must say it was beyond excellent. Not only in presentation but in flavor and quality. I’m very particular with my sushi and this was on point. As entrees, my boyfriend had the Maple Beef Eggplant dish($ 15). I tried it and was impressed it was different. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala($ 14) and it was good. However, I found that they are not generous with the meat portions. The chicken was diced up very small and immersed in way too much sauce. It was almost soup-like. Usually, when I order this at other places in the city it comes with nice big chunks of chicken and some sauce over it. This place was the opposite and a little overpriced for what I got. Overall, nice experience and I’m likely to return. FYI, this neighborhood is quite secluded, I recommend driving. It is rumored to be the new up and coming Williamsburg. I could picture it… especially with places like this popping up. Oh the possibilities!
