Terrible experience the first and only time I ate here. They screwed up my simple order and service overall took a long time. The portions were also very small. I never returned. The restaurant also was very dirty.

A good checkers location. The staff only interact with u just to get ur order and nothing else, need too see more customer service. The food is standard good and too checkers standards I’m pretty sure. The customer area needs to be cleaned. Sometimes they have been dirty and smelly even. Would just order to go wouldn’t eat in though.

Their grilled cheese strips and fries are pretty good, they put way too much ice in the soda, and honestly they’re a bit overpriced for what they are.
The girl working the register had no clue what was going on and I had to repeat my order 4 times. Not sure what’s so confusing about «6 piece grilled cheese strips, medium fry, and medium coke»
I’ve been to more efficiently run Checkers’ elsewhere.

This is the best checkers I ever Tasted. Me and my husband eats lunch here all the time… Only one time out of ten they gave me a room temperature burger when I expected a HOT BURGER WITH MELTED CHEESE. All the other times there gave me a HOT BURGER with melted cheese :-) fries are Awesome and the small female cashier is so friendly… FYI there apple pies are better then McDonald’s and your mother’s… This place bathroom is rely ugly but it worked all the time. The manager is a real manager and even handled many situations correctly as I watched like a nosey person.
Come here. I will return once a week as always.

In general I really prefer not to eat here but in the particular location I had to wait 30 minutes for ice cream. It’s ridiculous. Overall the cleanliness is horrible & service is even worse.

There is nothing spectacular about this place, it’s a neighborhood Checker’s located in the heart of Fordham Road.
The burgers are okay, if you like messy burgers. The seasoned fries are the best, nice and crispy.
The restaurant is not in the greatest shape, the tables and chairs are unorganized and just about anybody and I do mean anybody are allowed to occupy the tables whether they purchase food or not.

Best burgers on Fordham road, let me repeat that best burgers on fordham Road. They are way cheaper than McDonalds across the street and they always have great sales on their windows advertising some tasty burgers. like their philly cheese, the big Buford, and my personal favorite the Baconzilla burger which is to die for, it’s like an orgasm of flavor in my mouth with each bite. Their cheese chili fries are so so good, basically you eat great food like a king for $ 10 bucks, the only thing I wish they had was unlimited drinks cause their food is salty and you finish your drink fast, but beside that this place is the best.

Their fries and shakes are good. It’s a lot cheaper than McDonalds across the street.
I tried their fish burgers — um yuck, I’ll go to McDs for that.
