The slice is huge here. Despite everyone mentioning that in their reviews, I still had to mention it in mine. It’s that big! lol Stopped by here when I was visiting a friend over the weekend. For $ 3.25 you get the biggest slice of pizza in your life. Was this the best pizza I’ve ever had? Nah def not, but it was solid slice. I would come by if I were around here and for the price you can’t go wrong. I asked for it crispy and it came out just the way I like it. Had to get it cut in half cause its huge. If you want to get a slice of pizza that is good(for the price) then def stop on by. I’ll be sure to try pepperoni next time I go.

I went Friday got a HUGESLICE for $ 3. Tasting delicious. !!! I was soo surprised it was arhat good. Then I went yesterday thinking I was going to have the same experience I ordered a Lg Pie & it was horrible. Pizza was weak & wobbly, cheese cooked very sloppy & extremely oily. I won’t go back!!!

I’m from Queens, and I always make it a priority to come here whenever I drive from New Jersey. I’d come here more often if it weren’t for the tolls. Crispy and delicious!

Can’t go wrong with these huge slices Would of gave them five stars if they made Sicilians You would think would such big slices the flavor would suffer but boy was I wrong Very consistent flavor every time I come here and a large pie gets you 16 slices!!! Well worth it And am a loyal customer Come here every time I travel to the Bronx to get my monthly haircut!

Normally we go just for a slice. The slice is delicious, and we were psyched to order a whole pie. Well we are really disappointed. This pie is not good. When he told me 20min, I figured I was getting a fresh pie… I was wrong. The cheese is all uneven, the crust is tasteless. Not cool at all. One star in memory of all the great slices I’ve had there. One star to believe that this was a once in a lifetime mishap.

This is one of those hole in the wall pizza joints, not like little ceasers or papa Johns etc. There slices are huge I used to live on the hill and every Friday we used to pick up a pie or two. Yeap crust hanging a bit over the box. Good tasting back in the 80s I think it used to be called Crossbronx pizza. Diffrent owners I remember it being closed for a few months then I reopened. The original owners name was Sal and he was always there after school P. S.36. I haven’t been to the Pizzaria since 99′. Last I remember the two owners were brothers and were from Sicili.

This is seriously the BEST street pizza NY has to offer! 14 in long slices for $ 3.25 thick enough to fold and not flop over crusted to NY perfection. This is life! I mean I love love a ritzy truffle infused artisan pie with a glass of wine from a swanky little restaurant don’t get me wrong, but street pizza is a different animal and this one has no comparison!

Now I live in this area and have always seen this place and never stepped inside. For some reason I did when I was craving pizza. It was all good until paid for my pizza. the stores son came in asking for pizza fair enough. She started flirting with me. Is till wasn’t uncomfortable cause the reality is I can be nice I don’t owe you my number. Shit got gross when the owner saw his son and said«why don’t you shave your beard you look like a terrorist. and your clothes are too tight you look like a faggot» I was so shocked this was said not only was he being islamophobic calling a mass of people who are part of religious group terrorist based on looks but being homophobic too boot. Completely disgusting unprofessional behavior. I already paid for my pizza and took it without so much of a thank you. Went home and couldn’t even eat it. I lost my appetite from the hate spewed from this man.disgusting. I will never come back to this establishment or support such hateful behavior. Mind you the pizza was mediocre and disgusting. cant tell if it was just the pizza or the hate from the man making it or both.

Biggest slices in the Bronx hands down. There priced at $ 3.25 which is reasonable, they are nice and cheesy, the dough is a little on the not so crispy side which is how I like my pizza, they take it out of the oven a little to early which makes the slice soggy, but you can ask them to make it crispy for you when they are heating up your slice so I am sure that will remedy the soggy slice situation for you. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the slices are way to dry, they need more sauce, but that’s the problem you run into when making giant slices is that they need to be balanced perfectly to taste like a normal size slice would taste like, since there so big they don’t put enough sauce while creating the giant house pie which makes the pizza slice to dry when done out of the oven and served to the customer. So soggy slices with none to very little sauce make this a 4 star slice joint instead of a 5 star slice joint. The size of the slice and the fact that they are cheesy, the price is reasonable and since there’s no where else in the Bronx making them this big, Cross Bronx Pizza is a definite must visit at least once to try it. Then you be the judge whether you’ll be returning for the giant slices or not, as for me when ever I crave a giant slice fix this is my spot, if I’m not in the mood for a giant slice then no I will not be coming here regularly.

I used to go to the middle school right next to it so you could imagine how many times I indulged in their slices. These are probably the biggest slices you’ll ever come across! Seriously one slice equals a full course meal for me. The business is family-owned and very small but these kind of places make for the best food. I’ve become a regular and sometimes they give a free soda or free topping. It’s nice to be recognized

I was in the mood for pizza and a coworker recommended this spot. It was close to my job so I said sure why not? SOGLAD I DID! Slices are as huge as my head! Great value at just $ 3 per slice! $ 1 per topping and they are pretty generous! You will definitely get your money’s worth here a must try!

So, I was brought to this semi-remote location by my then-significant other for pizza. I was pretty pissed off and tired of walking around the BX, until I got my slice of pizza. WHOA. I was in awe. Biggest slice of pizza I had ever seen! Not to mention, it was like three bucks. The beef patties are great, too(but when are they ever bad?!) The only semi-bad things would be the location and that it’s such a tiny place with no real décor… but I don’t think it should be a main factor when judging delicious affordable pizza in the city.

I am such a fan of this place! I love this pizza. The slices are HUGE!!! You can better tasting pizza around Morris Park, but just for the sheer size of these things is it worth a visit. And they do taste good. And they guys are real friendly and very generous with the toppings. And they have a picture of J-Lo and Diane Sawyer having an interview in the shop on the wall. J-Lo grew up two blocks away.

Girls talk, and usually they agree– Bigger is Better. This place has a very big slice, and great minimalist atmospher– but taste is really not that great. Very doughy– and fails the BOTS test(bottom of the slice test(uniform color, slight yellowish hue, no grit= not good)) So next time she says«its ok, honey, its the quality that matters»(as she gently caresses his«fresh mozz» while reading Cosmo), unless she is talking about pizza, shes lying. 3 Stars becuase its named after the most inefficient higway ever!!!
